John Deere | Tractor Integrated Active Implement Guidance

John Deere's integrated active implement guidance system uses dual Starfire receivers and a vision camera to steer implements with precision during mechanical weeding. The technology improves speed and accuracy while reducing chemical use and protecting crops.
What if you could double the speed of mechanical weeding with tractor integrated active implement guidance? You can, given the increasingly strict environmental legislation as well as progressive weed resistance. Tractor Integrated active implement guidance has big ecological and economic benefits. To ensure no crop is damaged at high speeds, the tractor and implement are guided individually with two Starfire receivers. The implement is guided by the Autotrac vision camera to ensure maximum accuracy. The camera detects the row and ensures the implement is not touching the crops. Especially in fields that are not planted with Autotrac, the implement is shifted by a special hydraulic cylinder at the lower links. This not only saves the cost of an expensive side shift frame, but also reduces machine weight which results in less soil compaction. A great benefit is that the operator can set an accuracy threshold. The system will automatically control the tractor speed to always maintain the set distance to the crop under varying conditions. This integrated system enables the tractor with the combination of the existing John Deere components, high speed mechanical competitive wheel control and precision input in row crops. Double your performance and double your speed with tractor Integrated Active implement guidance. High speed precision weeding. Double your speed for mechanical weeding with tractor Integrated active implement guidance.
