Well, I love my customers and the challenge that they provide me on a daily basis. If you love doing something your job is not a job. You come to work every day with a new challenge, new fresh faces. My name is Tracey Hogan. I am a parts apprentice at RDO Equipment Emerald. Well, the learning curve moving into agricultural equipment was really terminology. It's a whole different field. So it was getting to know those customers and building those relationships and understanding what their needs were and understanding the front and the back of a machine, really. As for John Deere, I've been lucky enough to come out for a range of training. I think win or lose, this whole experience has been fantastic. The winner of the Parts Apprenticeship of the Year for Australia, New Zealand is Tracey Hogan.
This award means so much to me, per branch, everyone who's ever put any effort into training me and putting up with my nonsense, for me it's recognising Emerald and its achievements. It's a small town. Being able to come and take this home for them, that is probably what means the most.
Well, first I'd like to finish my apprenticeship and get that nailed and then from there just learning everything I can. I'm still fairly fresh in the industry, I still have a lot to learn and a lot to achieve, so just looking for learning opportunities going forward and then see where it takes me. Sam.
