Kristen compares the John Deere Z335 mower and X350 riding tractor to help you pick the right one for your yard. The Z335 is a zero-turn mower built for speed and tight spaces. The X350 is a traditional tractor better for larger properties and comfort.
Hi, I'm Kristen at your mobile SunSouth location. And today we're going to talk about our residential mowing equipment. I do have with me the Z335.
This is the smallest of the mowers in our residential series.
Comes with a great Excel deep edge 42 inch deck that's going to give you a lot of airflow in your deck. Kind of keep the grass off your blade. It's going to give you a great quality cut. This particular model comes with a manual deck lift here that you can set with the pin. The pin is also a tool to.
Take your floorboard off so you can get to that deck very easy.
Change your blades out, get to your grease points. This model does come with a 20 horsepower Briggs and Stratton motor on it. The maintenance on it is very easy to do.
We do have at home maintenance kits that you can do yourself at home or if you don't feel like it, bring it in to us and we'll do it for you.
Very easy to cut with. Going to cut down on your mowing time a lot. Over here we have the X350, our riding lawn tractor. This also comes with a great 42 inch Excel deep edge cut to give you that great quality cut that you're looking for. This is great for maybe older homeowners.
Maybe homeowners that aren't really comfortable with.
Using levers on a zero turn.
They really want the wheel to give them more stability.
Also has a great electronic dash, shows whether your parking brake is on. Shows you how much gas you have in there. It's great if you want all your.
Information right in the tips of your fingers.
This also comes with a great deck height spindle. So all you have to do is.
Turn this to set your deck height.
It's going to show you the smaller.
Height and the higher height with these great green and yellow gauges.
This also comes with great twin pedals. So you got your pedal for forward, pedal for reverse. Both of these are great residential pieces of equipment. I would say if you have a larger amount of acreage to cover, I would go with a zero turn. Especially if you're more comfortable with it and you want to cut down on your mowing time. I would say definitely over 2 acres. If you have a smaller yard, maybe.
A quarter to two acres, I would.
Definitely go with the riding tractor. Going to help you get a great quality cut. But if you're not very comfortable with the, with the levers, you really want that steering wheel for stability. I'd definitely go with your riding lawn tractor. I am Kristen at your mobile sun south location. Come see me for all your mowing needs.
