John Deere Z355R vs S120

Hey, guys. Welcome back to SunSouth. Today we're going to be comparing two different mowers and kind of decide what you need for your land, whether it be a zero turn or just be a traditional riding mower. So you got to think about the zero turn. It's going to cut a little bit, a little bit faster. And of course, it's a zero turn. So you don't have the turning radius that you're going to have on the, on the riding mower here. But there are things that you have to watch out for in your land on determining which mower is best for you. If you have a lot of steep hills, then zero turns are not the best option for you. That would be more your riding mower because it has a lower center of gravity here and it's very lightweight on the front. So on a zero turn, most of it needs to be flat. You can have some heels, some banks, stuff like that. This one's a 355R Z355R. It's got the Briggs and Stratton 22 horsepower engine in it. This one's got a 48 inch deck. So if you got about an acre or two acres, then it's going to be able to cut that acreage for you. It's got the nice seat on there. This is the R model. You can lift the deck with your foot. And it's got the nice armrest on here, too. Now, if we're just looking at a yard, then, you know, maybe a quarter acre, half acre, then this may be the best for you. Or if you have a few little hills and stuff, this may be the best option for you. This is a S120 lawn mower. It's got the Braves and Stratton engine as well, too. So this is gonna. It does take a little bit more turning to get back to your route again when you're cutting grass. But both of these mowers are residential mowers, so they're more for residential. Residential cutting, but both of them will do the job. We just need to determine when you come into sun south, what is the best option for, for the land that you have.
