Lachlan Corridan won the 2023 John Deere A&T Service Technician of the Year award in Australia. He talks about his background, what drives him in the job, and how he builds relationships with customers.

I had a couple of uncles and some friends and grew up locally in an agriculturally sort of centred town. And I just started doing work experience one day and I fell in love with the job. My name is Lachlan Corridan.
I'm a service.
Technician with Hoyslers and Sea Lake.
Just a great experience to be here. So, yeah, I was excited. I've got two guys in the dealer group and a customer, so it's good to get him up here. He wrote my reference.
The winner of the Agent Turf Technique Fish of the Year for Australia is Lachlan Corrigan from Poiseless Sealand.
Yeah, I'll take it a fair bit away from it, so it is great. So thank you. Yeah.
Didn't know what to expect.
And to, yeah, be awarded tonight is just, yeah, great. My favourite part of working with John Deere is. Yeah, the customers, they're great, they come back every day. Support is incredible. It's a great product, but, yeah, supported by great customers and that's what we do.
I see myself in five years in the exact same place. I wouldn't trade a job for the world.
