John Deere's precision agriculture tools let farmers measure and manage everything from soil conditions to crop yield in one platform. The core idea: you can't manage what you don't measure, and you can't optimize without management.

We've seen the GPS evolution, we've seen our controlled traffic grow, we've seen the no-till, we've seen the disc machines. It really feels that there's a technology pinch now with things like See Spray Select, with things like the Operations Center, with things like Active Yield on combines. And it's really helping us measure all of these metrics in our platform to grow, to grow a good sustainable crop. If we can't measure it, we can't manage it, and if we can't manage it, we can't grow it. And that's probably the premise that we run our day-to-day operations on to make sure we're achieving the most with what we're presented with.
