Hey, this is Tim Gommel with your local Columbus Sun South John Deere. Today we want to do a walk around on a 5067. This is a new 5 Series tractor for John Deere for 2023. One of the biggest things we notice when we first look at this tractor is the tires. There's a different look, there's a different feel to these tires. They're larger front and rear tire options available on these U5 series tractors. The biggest reason for that is better flotation, better traction. Also I'd like to mention that on the new 5 Series tractors, these tractors can be ordered with a true third function mid valve kit option. This particular tractor is set up for dual mid valves, but you can get it with a true third function on this tractor. Saves time, allows for easier loader operation while using it. Four in one buckets can be used. Grapple buckets can be used. A lot of different options here for buckets and attachments. There's also additional on the control panel. There's also an additional ram mount for placement of electronics and other types of devices. These tractors come either in a 9 forward, 3 reverse sink shuttle or 1212 power reverser transmission. This particular tractor is set up with a 1212 power reverser. Also there is new placement of the battery used to be located up under the hood. It has been moved to under the right hand floor panel for easier access up top. Instead of having to reach down up under the seat to put the tractor in four wheel drive or lock it in four wheel drive, there's a new push button. You just toggle switch it to four wheel drive when you need it. Toggle switch it out of four wheel drive when you don't. These tractors are powered with the John Deere Powertech engine. They come with a 5 year powertrain warranty heavy duty axle. This tractor also has easy access service points.
Hey, I'm Molly Ruderbeck from the Columbus Sunsouth store as well. What I'm going to talk to you about today is some of the premium cab options which we don't have a cab tractor yet. Those have not rolled out to us. But we do want to tell you the importance of the things that are available to you now with the premium cab options. You're also going to have the ability to come in from the right hand for the exit and entry. It also has an updated right hand console. It will have an instructional seat. It will also have an air ride seat. It's also going to have an EQRL which is an electric quick raise Lower so that you can just push a button and your back implement will drop to where you want it or raise to where you want it without any added extra work. It's going to have a sunroof with a sunshade. It's going to have a radio with Bluetooth with USB port and it's also going to have a cab microphone for you to use. It's going to have a rear window with a wiper and a washer available. It's going to come with a second rear scv. It also has go home lighting, so no matter what time of night you're out, dusk or dark, you're going to be able to see. It also has LED hood and work lights, so you will always have the ability to see what you're doing and where you're going. Now we're going to take a look under the hood for some pretty cool things that have happened. As you'll notice up front we have the ecu. There used to be a battery up here, but as Tim mentioned, it's moved off to the side for easy access. This ECU up front, along with the hydraulic cooler that is up front, is going to allow for it to get more air and it's going to be able to cool. One of the other things that's pretty cool about the 5e3 series is the increased performance because now what we have is a turbocharged Powertech diesel engine. So to provide less confusion, less downtime and improve ease of option. These do not have a regen, there is no need for a diesel particulate filter and there is no diesel exhaust fluid. No def. What could be better? You'll also notice on these telescopic draft links that these are a little bit beefier, more heavy duty to help with the job that you have at hand.
