John from Bedfordia farms explains how the My Operations app connects his mixed fleet, tracks machine performance, and improves logistics. He uses it to monitor staff and streamline daily operations across his farm.
The My operations app has made our life easier because we spend less time on the road looking for our members of staff and less time seeing what jobs have been completed before for logistics we used to call up people or driving around the countryside looking for individuals rather than just going on the phone having a quick there they are. Technology in farming at the moment is helping us to run a more connected farm, utilise machines to a higher standard and then spend more attention to detail looking at the soils or looking at the processes. The response from the drivers towards the app has been positive. We try and help all of the staff on the farm have access to the app so they can see their own and other members performance. At Bedfordia farms we run a mixed FL fleet of John Deere tractors, class combines, JCB tractors and a horse sprayer. The operations centre has helped us to keep all of those machines connected in one centralised location and that's a really big benefit.
