Precision Ag Technology MADE EASY! │ JDLink™

Johanna explains how JDLink connects farm machines to the cloud for wireless data sharing. You get real-time agronomic data, easier work scheduling, and fleet management all from one system.
We often talk about technologies for precision farming in particular. This involves the machines and the applications. But for that to work perfectly, we need connectivity. And that has extreme benefits for purposes such as work scheduling, digital documentation and also fleet management. This is what I'd like to talk about now with Johanna. Johanna, how does it work with connecting? I have the machine, I have the cloud. So what does the customer have to do?
The basis for this is JDLink. JDLink enables wireless data exchange between you and your machines via the John Deere Operations Center. In the cloud, you can conveniently and easily unlock the whole thing at any time and from anywhere and let it run for as long as you want. Let me show you.
Genius, Johanna. I have now ordered a new 6R and I'd like to integrate it into this system as well. How does that work?
The best way to do this is to simply log into your operations center and unlock it. It's just one click and it's done automatically for all your future machines. But you can also activate existing machines manually if you want to, because for years now many John Deere models have.
Been equipped with JDLink X Works keyword existing machines. I also have a Lance. Can I integrate that into the system Heine?
You can also retrofit Your Lance with JDLink and many other models as well. We recommend that you ask your John Deere dealer who will be happy to provide you with a quotation.
Now we know how it works. Johanna, what are the main benefits from your point of view?
You always have a quick overview of whether, for example, your harvest chain has enough combines so that you can still bring everything in on time before. In addition, you also see the most important performance data for your machines, such as fuel levels or machine utilization. And what is also of importance, you have site specific field data in virtually real time, such as yields or seeding rates, application rates, and so you can, if necessary, intervene in a supportive manner.
Great, JDLink. So connectivity has many advantages. I'll summarize again. Most importantly, we have full control over our machines agronomic data and on top of that, everything is free of charge. Now that's what I call a smart solution.
