John Deere has always been renowned for reliable and powerful machines. We have been pioneers in precision farming for 20 years. But what makes us really special? That's what I'm going to talk about today with Sonja. Sonja works at John Deere's European Technology and Innovation Centre. Sonja, what makes John Deere special when it comes to precision farming?
In my view, that's quite clearly our winning team. This means for me that in addition to our powerful technologies and machines, it's the people who make the difference. At John Deere, we're in the great position of being able to draw on our excellent dealership network for our smart farming solutions too. And for our customers. These are already familiar local contacts.
Exactly. And our dealers have really developed with us and the technology right from the beginning.
Precisely as you say. Everyone is investing continuously in specializations, but also in the further development of the employees. And because we've been going along this road together for so long, we've already gained a great deal of practical experience, also taking into account the different local circumstances.
In your view, what are the real benefits for the customer?
For the customer, the John Deere dealer is the one central component point of contact you go to, who immediately offers you customized and practical solutions. This applies on the one hand to the machine in the field, for example, but also in the office, such as when it comes to data collection as the basis for digital farm optimization.
