My name is Allen Todd. I'm the integrated solutions consultant for SunSouth. I'm just going to run down a couple of things that you can do as a preseason check before you drag your planters out of the barn this year. First thing I usually check, go ahead and pull this door off. Check. Make sure your door seal is still flexible. You don't have any major amounts of wear in any of the corners or grooves. Make sure everything looks like it's been sealing tight. Make sure everything looks like it's been flush. Next thing I always check the plates. Check for any grooves in the plates like these. These actually probably need replacing. Backside is pretty well stopped up itself. I would go ahead and change these. Next thing I always check is my plate seal goes behind that seal. That seal is actually pretty flexible, but it's cheap insurance to go ahead and change them in the beginning of the year. My br. Always check your brushes. That's another one that's pretty cheap insurance. Go ahead and change those because like this one, it looks really good, but if you could feel it, it's extremely hard and brittle. And about the first 10 acres, most of those brush arms would be gone. And then, of course, this one didn't get cleaned out. So just start everything fresh. Make sure the bottom of this is really clean, where this seed picks up, right here in the bottom of that meter base. Because if you've got any corrosion in this area, it'll give you problems with pickup for that vacuum pulling to that plate. And then this door, if you're planting peanuts or corn, anything like that, anything larger than just, say, milo sorghum, you always need this plate up. Or you can check your adjustments per the owner's manual.
