Greg compares the Stihl FS56RC homeowner model and the FS91R professional weed eater, walking through features and specs for each. The FS56RC is lighter and cheaper for basic yard work, while the FS91R handles tougher jobs with more power and durability.
Hey guys, my name is Greg and I'm going to be talking with you a little bit about two pieces of steel equipment. We've got the FS56RC and the FS91R. First I'm going to talk a little bit about the FS56. It is our homeowner version. It does have a easy to start feature. If you have trouble pulling, it's just it's got a rewind starter in here that basically does the cranking for you. And so it is a really easy feature. You can pull it, that will crank it. Next we have the on and off switch. It's got the easy off. It's just a switch button, turns it off. You've also got the new 262 weed eater head. With this line it is going to make it a whole lot easier than your typical bump head to string your line. You get about 24 foot of line, line up your arrows, feed it through and then just twist. Another thing on here is the automatic choke. When you're first cranking it, you're going to prime it, choke it, give it a few pulls. When it cranks, just mash the trigger and it's got the automatic shutoff on it. On this engine you're going to have 27.2 cc's on it. And this unit itself weighs 11 pounds. The fuel tank capacity on this one is 10.1 ounces which is going to last you a pretty good long time. Overall, this is a very good weed eater to have at your house. It is very comparable to the start of your professional series. And we'll run neck and neck with them 100%. The next one we have here is the FS91R. This is your professional series weed eater. It is got a little bit. It does have a little bit more power. You got 28.4cc's on this one. With a 24 ounce fuel tank, it is rated for extensive use. So when you're out there, weed eating is going to last a whole lot longer than this residential one would. The weight on this one is £12. It does have a solid drive shaft. This one comes with a 252 bump head. The nice feature about this one is you can replace the bump, the COVID the eyes and the spring as they wear. So that is a nice feature on it. The starting system on is it does not have the easy start. It just regular starts. But same thing, you'll prime it, choke it, pull it a few times, automatic choke shut off on it. And it does come with the stop button feature as well. And overall, if the if you're going to get a professional series Weed Eater, this is a good start. It's going to last you pretty good long time. So that's going to wrap up the video with our FS56 and FS91 weed trimmers. If you got any questions, you can come see us at SunSouth here in Columbus, Georgia and just ask for Greg.
