My name is Alex Caudle. I'm a salesman here at sunsouth Tomopolis. This July will be two years that I've been in sales. Typical day looks like for me, a lot of talking. We drink a lot of coffee, a lot of conversations with the other employees. We have little sale meetings in the morning to get us a game plan, try to hit our goals, you know, talking to everybody, people talking to us, trying to sell and market this product the best that we can. It's a lot of fun, a lot of laughing. Favorite part about working at Sunshouse is probably the people. I really enjoy the people coming in. They're looking to buy new equipment. It's a great experience for them. Everyone knows what John Deere is, so it's a selling standpoint. It's easier people understand what the product is, and it's our job to make sure that they get in the right machine and the right horsepower, etc. For the job and the service that they're going to need. My favorite customer experience story here was probably about two months after I'd been to work here. I sold a Z720E lawn mower and the brake pedal. You mashed the pedal down to engage the park brake. And the customer and I had talked back and forth for several weeks on the mower. I was pretty green and still am, and I explained the mower to the best of my ability that I could. I delivered this mower to him, and he got on the lawnmower, and he lives in a country club, and he went across the road with the mower, and he was trying to hit the park brake to stop it, and he had his hands forward on the mower, and it was a Z720E runaway down the middle of Fairway 9. And halfway through the golf course, there's a pond. So all these guys are golfing and, you know, drinking beer and having a good time. And I'm chasing this man behind the 720 lawnmower, trying to stop him from going in the pond, which we did. I showed him where the park break was, and everything was lovely after that. But by far, that was probably the scaredest and the most fun of experience that I've had here at Sun South. It's just probably one of the few. So here at Nemopolis, we do a pretty good job. I feel a lot like, of communicating with each other. We all get along and try to help one another. We're all just grinding.
