My name is Josh Dean. I am a Salesman here at SunSouth Dothan. I've been at SunSouth for about six years. What we do day to day as a sales is we assist customers in selecting the right piece of equipment for their need. When customers come in, we usually greet them at the front door, greet them out on the implement yard or the equipment yard, and we help them select the right piece of equipment that they need. A lot of customers come in who are brand new to the industry, who's never owned a tractor before. Those customers like that I really enjoy because it's building a relationship with a customer who's never actually operated a tractor. But we can build a relationship and build a friendship and basically just helping customers select the right piece of equipment for their need. One thing that I like about working at SunSouth, one thing I can say is just the atmosphere of the friendship, the family. You know, everybody up here, we're just like a one big family. We help each other, we try to assist whether parts need or service need. Yes, I'm in sales, but where there's a need, we all try to help each other and assist where we can. The confidence that we have, from our leadership and management to the ability to, you know, be able to help a customer see a need and not really have have to go through a big chain to get help. The confidence that our upper management has on a salesman to be able to see an issue, handle it, fix it, and the confidence behind that is one thing that I have always enjoyed, being able to react and solve problems. One of the coolest things of all about being able to work here at SunSouth is I also have my dad that works here. My dad Randy is a salesman as well. And I think that's really cool that me and my dad get to work together Monday through Friday. And I always consider that an honor to be able to work hand in hand beside my dad because if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be in the ag industry or even grew up knowing anything about it because he grew up in the ag industry, farming all his life and grew up and taught me what I know about the ag industry. So I consider one of the greatest things is being able to work with my dad here at SunSouth as well too.
