This is a YouTube video titled "The 100 TONNE Combine: Customer took the X9 to the test" featuring a detailed testimonial from Christoph Schnickel Plug, who runs an agricultural contracting business on the Baltic coast. The content, created in May 2023, describes the performance, efficiency, and user experience of the X9 combine harvester during their harvest operations, highlighting its reliability, ease of use, and fuel consumption. The video focuses on agricultural machinery and farming practices.
We've had no downtimes, no breakdowns, and we're very satisfied with our decision to go with the X9. My name is Christoph Schnickel Plug. My name is Christoph Schnyckloort Plurger. We run an agricultural contracting business here on the Baltic coast in Schleswig Holstein, cultivating an area of around 2,500 acres following the classic crop rotation of rapeseed, wheat, barley, oats and corn. We've chosen an X9 because we harvest 10 to 11 tons of crop and we need a machine that can also cope with the slightly more difficult harvesting conditions in the dew. From an agricultural point of view, we try to achieve as short and consistent a stubble pattern as possible with optimum chopping quality and straw distribution. The HDX cutting platform offers very good depth control. The crop flow of the conveyor belt cutting platform is ideal for the machine. The feeding into the machine remains constant even when working under difficult conditions such as in the dew. When switching, for example, from barley to rapeseed or from rapeseed to wheat, the only work we have to do is to install the cutting knives on the platform and swap them for the crop dividers. After selecting the crop type, the machine fully adjusts automatically. Starting in the Morning with the X9 is really easy. The radiator doesn't get clogged as it cleans itself. The daily maintenance of the machine rarely takes longer than one hour due to the pressurized cab, the noise stays outside. The machine runs so smoothly and quietly, it's very comfortable for the driver. A 12 or 14 hour day in the field is quite feasible. Thanks to its automatic cleaning system, the combine copes very well with the temperature and thermal load even in very hot conditions. Even with 35 degrees outside, the combine is working without problems. The data that the machine provides and which have been proven by us, shows that we are currently harvest between 5 and 7 hectares per hour. Working with using the chopper with highest intensity having between 10 and 11 tons of straw per hectare, we have a low diesel consumption of between 20 and 22 litres per hectare. This year we had a very relaxing harvest. We've had no down times and no breakdowns. We were able to work well everywhere from dawn to dusk and we're very happy with our decision to go with the X9SA.
