The 75 Tonne Combine - John Deere S-Series

This is a YouTube video titled "The 75 Tonne Combine - John Deere S-Series" containing a detailed product presentation or promotional content describing the features and technical specifications of the John Deere S series single rotor combine harvester, including its headers, crop handling, threshing, cleaning, and residue management systems. The content is informational and focused on agricultural machinery technology.
The single rotor S series combine doesn't just deliver high throughput. Its crop flow is designed to handle grain gently to minimize broken kernels and losses in the field. For high performance harvesting, there's a choice of two next generation Draper headers with active feeding. The RDF header has a flexible cutter bar with 190 millimeters of movement which hugs the ground picking up all the crop. Ground pressure is adjustable from the cab. Hydraulic sensors maintain the perfect stubble height for even combine loading. Dribble losses are minimized by the patented grain saver belts. The HDX is the ultimate header for challenging terrain. It has the largest vertical movement of any header on the market. The cutting height is set directly from the cab. The HDX is also fitted with the same high efficiency grain saver belts as the RDF header. The attachment frame allows the header to move independently of the combine for better ground. Following the pivoting feederhouse floor and slatted chain drive creates a tight crop mat for efficient loading across the feed. Accelerator vanes at the front evenly load the rotor for efficiency threshing and separating. Hydraulic actuators automatically maintain an even concave pressure on the crop. The number of revolutions the crop makes can be adjusted to improve straw quality. The S series shares the same three in one rotor design as the larger twin rotor. X series augers feed the grain evenly across the cleaning shoe. An additional raised front chaffer cleans up to 40% of the free grain before it reaches the main chaffer. The fan produces a uniform airflow across the full width of the cleaning shoe. Its large surface reduces sensitivity to minor adjustments, making it easier to optimize. An active tailing system performs the role of a secondary threshing system, increasing the capacity of larger models. As grain is transported to the tank, sensors measure the yield and moisture content. Three sensors in the tank provide accurate yield data for offloading grain into trailers. Straw exiting the rotor is directed into the chopper where it is cut into fine pieces. A vein tailboard distributes the crop residue up to 9 meters. For wider headers, an active Powercast spreader is also available. Switching from chopping to dropping can also be done from the cab. SAM.
