John Deere presents the 600X series harvesting headers, designed for flexible crop conversion and efficient harvesting. The headers feature advanced control systems that simplify switching between different crops and improve overall harvesting performance.
What kind of header do you need? A flexible system which can do all types of crops or a specialist header for specific challenging tasks. John Deere offers you a wide range of harvesting attachments. This enables you to find the right solution which is designed to suit your individual requirements. John Deere offers you the 600x headers as a flexible system which can manage all types of crops with ease. For example, if you harvest multiple crops then the 600x is just right for you. It can be converted to any small grain crop in less than three minutes. Its cutting table has the greatest range of length adjustment, 800 millimeters and its maximum length of 1200 millimeters makes it the longest on the market. In this example we are converting the combine to change from rapeseed to cereals. You can release the integrated mechanically driven side knives for harvesting rapeseed with a single manual action and without using tools and leave them on the header. Now attach the dividers for the cereals and lock them in position. Now you only need to change the crop type shown on the display in the cab. The control system of the 600x series is fully integrated in the CAB dashboard. Enter the grain height and stubble height on the display and the cutting unit will automatically set the appropriate position for the table length for optimal feeding. This system is exclusive to John Deere. With this system functionality you are guaranteed to have the best results regardless of the operator experience. The 600 headers are available from 6.7 to 12.2 meters. With the cutting table extended to a length of 1200 mm, you can ensure minimal losses in the rapeseed harvest and by reducing its length to 400 mm, you can optimize the harvesting of cereals with short straw. The 600x headers are also impressive with up to 6 independently operating height sensors ensuring that the header follows every contour so that even with with crops close to the ground, uneven ground and harvesting at high speeds, your fields will be cut clean with minimal stubble. The new series 600X headers enable you to spend more time harvesting in the fields, harvesting more crops with fewer losses and utilising the full potential of your John Deere combine harvester.
