Flow Dreaming.
It's a show where we talk about the power of your mind to change your world around you, to literally affect the fabric of your reality. We talk about this feeling of hope and joy and relief. And that is what being aware of your Flow does. It gives you a feeling of power again in your lives.
Oh, my God.
You were so on target. You are so amazing. I can't thank you enough. Enough.
Breathe.
It is the feeling that you bring forward. It is your emotional connection that really sets the tone for what is going to be happening to you and for you. And you know that feeling when you touch it, it just spreads through you.
Thank you for taking my call.
I don't know why I feel like crying.
I think I just feel your love, of course. And I think I'm going to get some ANSWERS.
I'm Summer McStravic and welcome to another episode of Flow Dreaming.
That's right. Here we Flow Dreaming together. So happy to be here with you as always. So many of you are enjoying this program. Also on your iPhones and your iPads and your Kindles and your Androids, more and more and more. I'm just amazed at how many of you are saying, oh, my phone recommended Flow Dreaming. I think, oh, I've got my. I've got the universe's phones on my side right now. So welcome. I sure hope you've had a chance to visit the website flow dreaming.com if you're new to the whole idea of what this particular form of manifesting is and this way of looking at the world and working with your consciousness. I have a nice area there dedicated to newbies, beginners of the craft, where I outline all kinds of resources you can explore, many of them completely free. Reading about the process to learn it, listening to other podcasts where I go into great detail about how to actually do the technique, as well as links to to certain flow dreams that would be good for you to start with. Many of you have also discovered that if you are signed up for my newsletter, which is, by the way, so erratic some months you'll get four newsletters from me, a newsletter and some little postcards about glasses and this and that. And then other months will go by. You're lucky if you see one darn thing out of me. I try to be consistent, but, oh, things get overwhelming. But if you do sign up for the newsletter, know that you will only ever get anything straight from me, not from anybody else, no other companies. And also you get a free Flow Dream when you do that. It is a Flow Dream I created specifically to introduce people to Flow Dreaming because it helps you get an understanding of where you are in your life right now and know what direction to go in. It is the starting point for yourself as you plunge into this wonderful craft. So today we are talking about survival mode. Survival mode. And I think it's a kind of opportune time to speak of this. I know those of you who are podcasting, you'll say, well, it's no longer the holidays, but typically when the holidays roll around, people start to really become conscious of where they are in the material world. Oh, remember that old Madonna song, We're living in a material world. I don't know, it just popped in my head there. We paused to sort of examine what's in my bank account. How come it's not any higher than it was last year? Or maybe it is higher. What changed? What did I do? What was different? I've been in survival mode in many different points in my life from childhood on up. A lot of, you know, my mom, Venus Andrek, she has the Dear Venus show that comes on right after mine. And, you know, she divorced twice. So we were thrust into having to put lives back together multiple times, you know, going from survival mode back up to managing pretty well mode to doing really well mode, and then back again to survival mode, seeming to be this oscillating up and down scale that I've been through. So I know the place very, very, very well. Certainly my first company, when I was running it, I was in a bit of survival mode, just trying month to month to keep the company afloat, you know, meet my bills, you know, pay my household bills. You know, I remember creating lists of things I could do completely for free with my boyfriend at the time, who's now my husband, because we couldn't afford to go anyplace, you know, so I'd say we can go feed the ducks at the park, we'd go take a walk, beach, we can go window shopping. Things we can do completely for free. Until we did all of them. So many times we would look longingly at restaurants and think, oh, if I could just go in anyway. So, yes, I've been in survival mode and I know all about it now that I've been doing flow dreaming for many years and teaching this and helping people work out sort of fabric of their lives, work out why things are there, why other things aren't there. Understand a great deal of understanding, not just, you know, it's funny when you. When you start to manifest and you start thinking about you know, what you think is what you are. You go through so many phases. At first it seems exciting and magical and just make things, think things into existence. Then you realize, no, it actually doesn't work like that. You've got to go deeper in. I mean, it just layer, layer upon layer. And eventually you get to a point where. Well, at the point I'm at right now, where I ask myself questions more like, why is this person living this way? What are the missing pieces in their life? What are they doing or recreating that keep them in this place? Or what is it that's preventing them from moving into another place? And this is where I get really deep into patterns. And I know you've heard the term belief systems probably over and over again. It's one of those new age swag words, you know, everybody throws it around. You know, your belief system, it's your belief system. Usually we say it with a bit of a sneer to it, like, ah, you know, those darn belief systems always getting in the way. But you know, if you have a great belief system, whoever talks about those, I have a wonderful belief system. It keeps me happy, healthy, wealthy and wise. But the more that you do flow dreaming, the more you get into manifesting and understanding how the universe lines things up for you, the more you do look at belief systems and patterns because you start to see these sort of overarching blueprints that keep things running and functional. You know, when you manifest, it's not something that you just learn to do and then suddenly the next day you start doing it and you've never done it before, and your life changes. You manifest every day, all the time, all day long. All day long. And what flow dreaming does is it just teaches you how to become aware of what you're creating, how to wake up to what you're already creating. Not just through physical things that you do, the phone calls you make, the places you go to, the workplace you go to. Not just all that everybody knows about all that, but through the feelings that you're putting out there, the desires you are pouring into the universe, pouring into your future, the things that kind of thrust you or move you forward. This is where you end up or where you eventually are led. Why? Why? What is the pattern? What is the blueprint? How did I create it? What is it made of? Did I consciously choose this? Most of the time, no. But the more you manifest, the more you become aware of what you're after, the more you are beginning to consciously create and shape and change the Patterns that are in your life. So you have to go back oftentimes. This is something that I do heavily in the private sessions where I work with people. We go back, we say, where did this pattern get established? What is this pattern? And you know how patterns are. When you're inside of one, you can't see it. It's like being like a, you know, a little tiny, little tiny thing at the bottom of a teacup. You know, all you see are the walls around you. You don't see the pattern, you're too far in it. Somebody else stepping outside of you looks at you and describes, here is what I'm seeing. And that's when you say, really? Are you kidding? Really? Is that it? Is that what it looks like? Is that what the whole appearance of it is? You know that old saying about the blind man who fills the elephant skin? You know, up close he doesn't see the elephant, he just feels something rough. I don't know, something along those lines. That's how it is with our patterns. However, fortunately, the more that you flow, the more you are able to look at these patterns and they will start coming up for you, revealing themselves to you. Like gosh, horrible image. Pimples coming up from under the skin. Their patterns coming right up out of your life, ready for you to look at them, see them, and hopefully pop them if you don't like them. Oh, that was pretty grizzly. Okay, moving, moving right along. I see some of you are already calling, of course the number. I would love to look into you and your patterns today. That's part of what I do when I'm not actively manifesting. I'm using my empathic intuition to also access flow energy. Looking and seeing what's going on with you. I find that to be really good at manifesting, you need to also be pretty empathic, pretty able to look in and see what's already there, what's already going on. So nice to be able to see the information right in front of you. And that's where I use my intuitive side, my ability to read flow energy as opposed to manipulate flow energy. Anyway, that number to call is 1218-86-27200. You can find that number on my website, flow dreaming.com. go to the radio page and you'll see it as well as the live times when this program actually does air live every week. So you can call in, that's a toll free number from all over the world. Talk to me. Anyway, I digress. To go back to patterns though, and to go back to that baseline, your baseline or your survival mode, you could see there, there's a subtle difference. Although sometimes they sort of sink to the same level, I guess you could say. Survival mode to me is when you are achieving the bare minimum that you need to survive. You haven't sunk all the way under. You're not homeless yet. It's a no frills kind of life. It is just day to day, month to month, bill to bill, always wanting that little extra thing. You know, you want to enroll your kids in that class, you can't, the money is not there. You want to get a better job, you can't seem to. So you continue on being underpaid where you are. That is survival mode. Day to day, month to month, check to check. And it's a place that we get in through many different reasons or patterns. For me, when I look at people, it usually comes down to where is their baseline set. Now think of the baseline. It's sort of like the lowest level that a person can sink to without going completely under. You know, it's where you're just at the surface, but you can't seem to get up any higher. And I like to joke that things often sink to the baseline. So rather than trying to figure out how to lift everything, you know, create new things or get above the baseline, lift your baseline, lift your lower level so that your lower level is not so low any longer. It's sort of a different way of thinking about things. So if your baseline is, you know, our family makes $42,000 a year. We have four of us, it's almost impossible. We're totally in debt and we've been doing this every single month for the last three years since I lost my job and I had to get this new one that just won't pay for everything. Alright, that is the baseline. You've hit a baseline and you continue to stay in that baseline. You are right at survival mode. Here's what happens over time. And this is again based on our pattern we establish. The unique thing is we all have a different baseline, we all have a different survival mode that might be yours. Someone else's survival mode might be. I've never earned more than $30,000 a year in my entire life. Someone else's survival mode or baseline might be, we make $100,000 and yet I feel like I'm never able to catch up with my bills because their baseline is quite a bit higher, yet they still feel a push of being in survival mode according to where they are. And their spending and all the things they think that they have to pay for. You know, they're paying for the parents nursing home, they're paying for the kids in school or in college. You know, they're paying two car payments, they're upside down on a house, they can't get out from under. And suddenly that 80 or 100,000 a year is mercifully stretched. But their baseline is still quite high. Yet they are in survival mode. So just knowing that kind of puts a different spin on things. Everybody's got a different level. Your level might be there, somebody else's level, someone up, you know, a little bit higher. You can't see me, but I'm sort of showing all these different levels with my hand, you know, karate chopping in the air right now. So you need to ask yourself, am I in survival mode? And what exactly is my baseline? Then go back to the pattern. How did I establish this? What role model did I have for this? Where did I first see this? And then you have to go the next step. How did I get comfortable with this? This is, this is the tricky part. If you have a baseline, you got comfortable with it at some point, you experienced it and you said, I can handle this, I'm comfortable with this. I don't have too much. If I had too much, I might start to worry. How do I keep this going? Will it last? What if I outspend it? What if it comes and goes and I'm back to my baseline again? You see, oftentimes when we go above our baseline, our fears start to kick in and we don't even know it. We're totally unconscious about this. Or subconscious. Yeah, unconscious. No, no, no, I can't, I can't, I can't get it straight. We're not consciously aware why it is that when we begin exceeding our baseline, some part of us gets very uncomfortable and tends to tug back. This is when you find yourself doing things that get you right back to where you used to be. How often does that happen? And how often do you ask yourself, why did I do that again? How, why, why universe? Why? You threatene and you curse, curse, curse at source and God and the universe. Why? Why do you keep bringing me back to this place? Well, first of all, baselines are comfortable. It's that comfortable level. You don't have to do too much there. You just be. And you know how to be. You know how to stretch from check to check. You've done it over and over. This means to lift your baseline to get up to get out of survival mode. You actually have to enter into a period of discomfort. Yeah, that's right, discomfort. I know that sounds shocking. You mean for things to get better in my life, I have to feel discomfort? Yes. Because when things get better in your life, you're moving into new territory. You're moving into unfamiliar waters. You're no longer in that safe place, even though that safe place might be stressful and difficult and not enough. And da, da, da, da, da. You've said that to yourself for so many months, for so many years. It's like a mantra to you. It becomes like an old coat. It's comfortable. Yet when you start moving up, when you get that better job, when your husband, you know, finds that that great position someplace and or his entrepreneurial business just takes off, there's discomfort there. As you adjust, as you get. As you. As you wrap your mind around this new standard of living. You've probably experienced this before. If you think about it. Remember when you probably bought your first car or when you first moved out of the house. You were going up in your life, in your mind and your feelings, yet you felt, like, scared. How, how will I pay this? How can I possibly pay this every single month? How can I possibly cover this? And yet somehow you did. Your quality of life got better, yet you were concerned, you were afraid, you were uncomfortable as it got better. Okay, that's just one clear example that we've all experienced. But you have to apply that to other areas of your life. Right now, that same feeling, that same sensation doesn't happen in just one or two little spotty areas. It happens everywhere. Patterns are that way. They drop into every area of your life, often repetitively. Repetitively. Repetitively. Okay, think about this. I know that I've been kind of meandering through this topic, but I do have actually a lot more to say on it. So we're going to go to a quick break. When we get back, a little bit more on getting out of survival mode. Some ideas for how to do it. How to do it. Now that we've established what it is, what it feels like, then. Oh, I see. Oh, a full board of calls. Excellent, excellent. And we're going to be doing a flow dream together a little later on in the program to help us break through survival mode. Jump us up a notch. And what's more, be comfortable with the sensation of doing it. So there is no fear, nothing holding you back. Okay. I'm Summer McStravik. Show's called Flow Dreaming. Stay with me during the break or Better yet, do a quick browse to my website, flow dreaming.com. i'll be right back.

Welcome back to Flow Dreaming. Okay, a couple more comments before we go to some calls today. Right, so when I left you, I was talking about how you have to prepare yourself to be uncomfortable in order to move up out of survival mode. And that's another funny thing because, you know, you expect that it would feel good. It will feel great. You're breaking through, you're finally doing well. And yes, there is that. There is that side of it too. But you have to prepare also to know that you can feel uncomfortable and unsure. And that in itself is one of the indicators that you are actually breaking out of it. So if you ever ask yourself, how do I know if I'm really improving things? How do I Know if things are changing for me. Well, are you uncomfortable? If you are, you're probably breaking out of it. You're probably in the process of raising yourself right up out of survival mode. You are raising the bar, raising the baseline. So it's good. It's good to feel that way. Okay, here's some other ideas for being able to recognize these patterns that draw you back to a squeezed place in your life, that lowest point in your life before you go under. But it's the comfortable, you know, comfortable low. You have to look and say to yourself, what things are not working. Really not working. And in that job that's just barely paying the bills, that's not working. You'll say, yes, it is. It's paying the bills. No, it's not working. There's no improvement in this job. There's been no raises in this job. There have been no promotions in this job. Truly, it's not working. All that it's doing is keeping you at your baseline. It's keeping you in survival mode. Is that working for you? You see, you've been saying, yes, it is working. That's why you've been staying there. You've been consciously continuing your survival mode, consciously continuing forward your baseline, because month to month, you're saying, yes, it's paying my bills. I have to stay here. Yes, it's working. It's not. It's not. Unless that's where you want to stay in that baseline. So be careful what you tell yourself about things. Don't be afraid to look at something and say, it's not working. This job isn't working. This relationship isn't working. How about that? It's good enough. This relationship is good enough. It's fine. It's not great. I'm not in love. But, you know, who knows if that will ever happen? These are all things people say all the time to themselves. They're keeping themselves in survival mode in their levels of intimacy in their life. Not enough intimacy to feel joyful, buoyant, full, happy. Just enough intimacy that they have somebody that they complain to when they get home from work. Right? That's. That's a baseline. Recognize it as such and don't be afraid to make a change and to say, that's no longer good enough. It's good enough if I want to stay here in the baseline, but if I'm really going to work to raise things up, it's no longer good enough for me. What can I change and what can I get rid of? You have to get rid of things. If you want to improve your baseline, you have to get rid of things. Don't be afraid to cast off these things that aren't working. And that's where everybody clinches up. And that's often why we cling to these baselines, this survival mode. Can't get rid of it. We think, well, then we'll have nothing, we'll have nothing, we'll have nothing. No, you won't. At the very worst, you'll get yourself right back in another situation that perfectly parallels the baseline you just had. Because it's a comfortable zone. It's the no brainer thing. You walk away from your crummy job, and at the very least, you'll get an equally crummy job, because again, you're going to go to that comfortable zone, that comfortable level. Same thing with relationships. Cast off that relationship. You're not going to be alone. You just get yourself an equally crappy relationship. You have to consciously say, no, I'm going to cast this off and replace it. I'm going to change. How do you do that? Well, don't be afraid to try new things. Don't be afraid, especially to try things that make you uncomfortable. Here's where flow comes in. Oftentimes it will push you into uncomfortable places. People always say, why did you know I got fired from my job or my boyfriend left me for someone else, or I got in this illness? And why? Why would my flow do this? And we look at the pattern and they go back and I say, look, how long have you been saying this wasn't working for you? A long time. Well, you know what? Eventually your flow gets tired of hearing you whine, and it says, I'm gonna push you into something else. I'm going to get you into that new thing. Even if you're kicking and screaming, I'm gonna give you that opportunity. If you don't like it, you don't take it. You can sink right back down to where you are, but I'm gonna get you there. And that's when we go through this thing called transition and change. This is often every one of you who've been unemployed to keep using that as the example. No. When you get fired or when you get laid off, or even when you quit, there's often this sense of total and utter relief. You secretly admit it to yourself. God, I'm so relieved. Oh, God, I'm so relieved. Very rarely is it just a horrible, oh, my gosh, how did this happen to me? Na na na. Yes, we all say that because our ego Gets hurt, fear kicks in. But there's always that sense of, oh, God, what a relief. And then there's that delicious moment where you say to yourself, I can explore. I can move into something different right now. I can try something that I haven't tried before, that I wouldn't allow myself to try because I was so afraid to let go. This happens every. Everywhere, not just with jobs, but with relationships, with friendships, even with, you know, with hobbies. You can apply it toward everything in your life, okay? So you have to not be afraid to try new things and to feel the discomfort of trying those new things. These will modify your baseline. Your baseline, your survival mode kicks in when you do the same thing that you did before. Same thing that you did before. Always feels comfortable. It even can feel miserably comfortable. But you know, your baseline because it feels comfortable. You're used to it. You're used to that misery. You're used to that misery. Okay, I hope I'm. I just keep trying to bang in the same. Same thought over and over again. If I can restate it in different ways, I'm hoping it will. It will get through another thing. Go against the grain. Don't be afraid to. If you have always tried to do what the expected model is, you've always tried to pursue what the right thing, you know, the right job, the right kind of, you know, the right school, the right structure, the right, you know, career, climb, whatever. Go against the grain. Try it your own way. Maybe one of the ways that you stay in the baseline is to not allow yourself to break out. Is to just follow what you've been told or shown or was ingrained into your head. If that's the case, do something different. Again, don't, you know, go against the grain, be your own piper or whatever that is. Conversely, maybe you've always been the type who's walked your own walk. Maybe you've never tried the standard traditional model. Maybe you've never really looked into it. Well, huh. How do other companies get their website so big? Maybe I ought to see what they're doing right? Oh, there are traditional models for this I can follow. I don't have to reinvent everything. I don't have to flail around doing my own thing all the time. No, I can figure out what are the established models and copy those. Okay, What I'm trying to do here is show you. To move away from survival mode, to move away from baseline, you have to pretty much do the opposite of what you're doing. Whatever it is you're Doing. And here's the thing again. Because you can't see your pattern, sometimes it's hard to even see the opposite of what you're doing. So look at those things that you don't know. Look at those things that feel uncomfortable to you. Look at those things you don't understand and how they work. Those are all the opposites of what you're doing. You can tell because they feel very, very, very unfamiliar. Your goal is to start making unfamiliar things feel familiar. And I guarantee the way that you walk through life will change. It will shift. You will move into a different level. You'll move perhaps into a different strata of society. You'll perhaps move even locations where you live. You'll move jobs. You might move relationships. Everything is going to weigh up and adjust as you move into this new mode, which is not survival mode any longer. It is ingesting, it is gulping down. It is drinking life mode. That's where we all want to get to. And as a manifesto, as a flow dreamer, you're getting closer and closer to that every day just by keeping your thoughts around these ideas. By having. By daring to have the belief and the faith that you can do this. You know, all of our friends and family who laugh at us. Why? Because we're daring to believe. This tells you something about most people and the way that they live. Okay, let's do some calls. One call, maybe, and then we'll go to a quick break. We have a flow dream to do. We have more calls as well. Elle, you're calling from Montana. How are you doing in Montana? How cold is it up there right now?
Let me see. It's. Well, it's 37 right now.
Oh, just 37? It's above freezing. Not for long. I'm sure. There's a funny game. This is totally. Aside from why you're calling, I'm sure. But my husband plays with me. He calls it guess the weather. And he opens up the newspaper every night, and I'm supposed to guess the weather in the hottest place in the US the coldest place in the US Then the hottest place in California. The country coldest place in California. We started this game because I was weirdly good at it. I mean, I was guessing within 3 degrees. This is why we keep doing it, because it's such a bizarre little psychic talent to have. Totally worthless, of course.
It was 13 this morning.
Oh, see? All right. But the thing is, Montana is always topping the list of the coldest place in the country. You guys are always rocking it for the Coldest, which is why I had to ask. That was a long lead up. How are you? What's your question?
Well, thanks for taking my call and bless you for the amazing work you do. I've been working with Law of Attraction and Prosperity, Consciousness, Metaphysical Healing, Modalities, Creative visualization, etc, etc for about 20 years. And I think your show was designed for me because I am still stuck in that baseline survival mode, broke and alone. And I'm just wondering how to break through this wall I've been banging up against all these years. And I just was wondering if you sense something or see something unusual in my flow that I'm missing.
Well, right off the bat, I have a strong sense coming from you, that one of the big things you constantly run up against is this sensation that people don't see what you're able to do. They don't see your abilities, they don't see you for who you are. It's like this struggle. If people could only see me if they only knew what I did, if they only knew that I'm good at this, that I'm capable of this. Do you experience that? Would you say that's one of the continual frustrations you've had in your life?
Yes. Yes, I would.
Yeah. Okay, so how did that get in there? This is a pattern that I'm pulling up from you right here.
I feel sort of invisible sometimes. And I also feel like it's hard for me to feel like I'm accepted, like I'm different from everybody else.
Yes, happily different than everybody else. All of us who are different, we are birds of a feather. You know, I think we're the best people on the planet, frankly. Right. You know, I always say, you know, if Source wanted everybody to be exactly the same, we wouldn't have been created so different. So the more interesting and unique you are, the more that shines out from you, the closer to expressing all of Source energy you are. So, I don't know, that's just an aside to think about. But yes, that sense of invisibility is that again, feeling that you are not being seen for what you can do, what you can give. Okay. I see you often in the past trying to present yourself, trying to say, I can do this, but you feel passed over and this has happened to you again and again, almost expect it. Even if you get a job that seems like it's going to be great, eventually you realize you're being passed over, marginalized, not being acknowledged. Let's look for your love life right now. You, you said that you're alone. So no partner right now.
Oh, I just got dumped.
Yeah. Just got dumped again. Again, again, again. Right. Not being seen for your qualities, not being admired for them. And that's again, what I'm seeing. The same thing in this relationship. You're taking it to heart, too. This fear inside you. Maybe I'm not good enough. Maybe I'm not beautiful enough. Maybe I'm not this or that. You know, there's a sense of puzzlement, but it's become so routine for you that you kind of accept it. Oh, yeah. Instead of saying, you know what? You were wrong. You were wrong. You didn't see it. Your loss, buddy. Your loss. You know, you just missed the best thing that ever happened to you. I mean, do you say that kind of stuff to yourself? Because if you don't, you need to start.
Oh, yes, I do, I do.
Good, good, good, good, good, good. Okay, okay. So here you are. What I'm looking at when I see you is how do we make you be seen? How do we make you be seen for who you are? To let yourself shine, to grasp this sense of I'm different. And it's amazing. You will find things and see things in me that no one else can give you. How rare is that? You know, it's. It's odd. The rarest thing, metals, the rarest gems are the ones we prize the most. Why don't we feel that way about people? So you are one of those. As I see you here, I'm actually going to give you a little prescription. Prescription. You go into the flow and you feel yourself being seen all the way through, inside, outside. It's like being seen in your underpants, isn't it? It's a feeling of vulnerability, of allowing, of standing up for what people are seeing, standing behind what they're seeing, saying, yeah, I can do this. And you see this, you see this. You can't not see this. Okay. It's almost like you're projecting yourself, like you're an old fashioned movie projector. I think they're all digital now, Movies, right. But they used to shine the light across the theater up on the screen. That's what you need to do. You need to have an internal projector shining yourself outward. It's a sense that you need to start carrying around in you. When you go into the flow, imagine yourself as this great expansive being. Big, beautiful, bold, seen, admired. People stop in their tracks, they look up, they notice you. You need to be noticed. Now there's going to be discomfort that goes along with that noticing, that's where you're going to want to retreat. Okay? That's your baseline. Do not retreat. If you retreat, you're going back into your little survival hole, your hidey hole. You stand up, you say, this is it. This is me. This is a prescription that's going to be a couple years in the fruitfulness for you. But it's a life changing shift of who you are, how you approach the world. When you project yourself that way, when people stop and take notice, opportunities that come in, the men that come in, jobs that come in, are all going to shift in the quality of what reaches you.
Okay, well, that's just what I need.
All right, so you take that and you know Flow Dream on it over and over again. I'm projecting myself. I'm standing behind what I'm projecting. I'm allowing you to see me and I'm allowing myself to tell you this is what you should be looking at. This is what you should be noticing. It's not changing your personality. Okay? It's not going from timid to bold. It's just. It's just taking. Taking the lid off the box. You're just showing more of you're already this person. It's just allowing it to be seen. Okay?
Okay.
All right. Think through that and take care.
I will. Thanks, Summer, so much.
Bless you.
Bye. Bye. Okay, well, El didn't really get a future reading there. She got something I felt was more important, an understanding of why she is where she's at and what the big holdback is. I hope she can listen to this again on podcast and hear it a few more times when it sinks in. Okay, quick, quick break. When we come back, more calls and a Flow dream. I'm Summer McStradic. Do stay with me for Flow Dream.
Hi, it's Summer, but on break. And I know that some of you are still wondering, what is Flow Dreaming and what is MI School? Because I refer to both of these quite a bit in my podcast. Me School is a transformational program. It's a gorgeous and deeply revealing, empowering online school worldwide where I teach you how to remodel your life in any way you choose, using the technique of flow dreaming as well as a bunch of other deeply powerful life changing processes. So Me School is either enrolling or it's accepting names onto the wait list. And that means that I'm accepting students who work with me for the year. And you can learn how to do what I do in life. The way I think, the way I build things, make things Heal things. Everything I talk about, you will learn directly from me how to do. You're going to create some amazing things. My MI schoolers, their lives change way beyond the norm. And you don't even have to be a superstar when you go in. Some of you are, and you're ready to go bigger, play in that bigger field. And some of you are just saying, hey, help. What's next?
Where should I go?
And both are fine. Both are great if you're ready to go big. But you know that you need to deepen your own spiritual practice and your personal growth, because that's where it all comes from, right? Then this is where you need to be. Your life only grows as big as you do. So here's what to do. Go over to flowdreaming.com and click on MI School. And during these enrollment periods, you can actually set up a free phone call with me or my staff and we'll talk about it. Is it a fit? Is it interesting? During waitlist times, we just put you on a list of people who've expressed interest, so we can notify you as. As soon as the doors open. All right. I look forward to hearing from you and even more to getting to know you as one of my personal students in me school. Now, let's get back to the episode.
Alrighty. Let's go with Chris. You're calling from New York. How are you today?
Oh, hi, Summer. Thank you so much for taking my call. Yes, we had a session a couple months back, and then I've been doing the Prosperity Challenge, and it has helped tremendously. And yet in the last couple of weeks, everything seems to have come to a halt. Everything that you said on the show today is applicable. And I am feeling uncomfortable and I am feeling unsure. So at things. At least the things are clear about moving. So that part has been resolved.
Oh, good.
But the funds to make the move happen, which I. I am committed to making happen in December, are not placed yet.
I'm trying to remember our session so hard. So where are you moving again?
The session was about the cliffs. Getting myself hanging on cliffs. Okay.
All right.
So maybe I'm breaking out of this pattern, which I'm grateful for.
Okay, so you have to get the funds together for the move. It feels like we talked about that as well, how you were going to manage that. What's going on with work right now?
That's exactly it. It's not happening. Everything that I had placed online with the music, everything came to a halt. And I only have one client at this moment. So things are very interesting, to say the least.
Yeah. You know, I feel. And you have a deadline for when you have to move by, Correct. Like a lease or something is up.
Correct.
Yeah. Okay. Yeah, it's interesting. I feel it around you. You're making me uncomfortable with your flow. You feel so squeezed. There's like such a tightness around you. Yes. I feel that unfortunately, you need to do some corrective measures here. Because the sensation is that as you go ahead, as you move forward through the holidays, the slump is still there. It's like everybody has deserted you. They're off running around other places. So what I'm feeling is more of same. I don't like that. I don't want to see that. I want to change that. I want to feel differently about it. What I'd like to ask your Flo to do and for you to ask your Flo to do work on this flow. Dream for this is maybe not put the pressure on the clients. Maybe say to Flo, I don't know how you'll get me this income. I don't know how you'll get me moved. But you will. You will. I have faith in you. I'm ready to leap as soon as it happens. And we will do this. We will do this. I have absolute faith that we will do this. Flo, you will help me. The money will come to me. And it may not come from the sources that I'm thinking of, because every time I think of those sources, I get transfixed by this squeezing sense of fear. Because every time I think of my clients and my business, my work, this is the feeling that surrounds me. And I know that I shouldn't be feeling that way because I'm putting that out into the flow. I'm, in essence, recreating more of it every time I feel that way. So instead, I'm just going to let go of that. Of course I'm going to keep working. It'll keep my keep doing. But I trust that you're going to bring it in from some source. And I'm not going to name it, and I'm not going to be fearful about it. Some source, some means. If I need to be moved, if I need to go someplace, you will allow it to happen and you will make it to happen. And I feel it happening. It's the most important part. I feel it happening smoothly, easily, comfortably. I'm overjoyed. I'm surprised. This wonderful sense of surprise is traveling through me at how it occurred, how it happened, and yet it did I got exactly where I needed to go when I needed to get there by okay. Over and over. It's kind of like we're trying to. Like a pencil eraser. We're trying to erase this other pattern, this. This other potential future that I feel, you know, flowing out from you. And you're trying to scratch in this new sensation instead. It's like a mandate you're putting out there to flow because you've been feeling so much that it is what it is, and I'm fixated on that. It's like that's what's been just spooling out of you. It's going to change it. Okay.
Okay.
Thank you so much. I wish I could help you a little longer, but I can. So please take care. Have good holidays. Feel this in your flow, and just don't. Don't doubt it. I mean, there's no reason if you're manifesting to ever put out there. You can doubt all the rest of the day, you know, but when you're manifesting, be without doubt at all. Okay.
Okay.
Thank you. Bye. Bye, Chris. Take care. Oh, my gosh, I felt her worry so much. All right, we have another break. I think it's only like a minute, so you can definitely hold tight through it. When we get back, we're going to do a flow dream, and if I have time, I see you, Judith, waiting for me. We're going to do a flow dream and hopefully get to you as well. So stay with me. I'm Summer McStravic. We're going to flow to get you out of survival mode right after this.

Hope to see you there. Manifest your life with Summer McStravic and Flow Dreaming. Here we are, Flow Dreaming together. I want to Flow Dream with you right now to help you. First of all, notice there's something I forgot to say in the beginning of the show. Oh, aren't you glad you're listening to the end? Survival mode, the way I've been talking about it makes it seem like it's an all over life situation. Sometimes it's only in certain areas or aspects of your life. That thing that just won't ever come together, bear fruit, or go anyplace. That aspect, it doesn't have to be everywhere in your life can just be that one spot that never pulls itself together. And you know exactly what I'm talking about. Different spot for everybody. You know, sometimes it's the health, sometimes it's the weight, sometimes it's legal situations. Even. Gosh, I know people who have ongoing legal situations for years and years and years and years. I mean, it's always something and it's I think, my God, you know, your baseline is to always be in twines in a lawsuit. Isn't that wacky? You know, and other people have never been in one in their entire life. So survival mode can be narrowly applied as well as broadly applied. Although typically patterns do insinuate themselves in many different areas, just not as heavily or not as deeply as in other areas as in say one or two particular areas. So bear that in mind as we go and do this Flow Dream together. Maybe you're thinking about the aspect of your life where you've never gone any higher. It's like you've never been able to jump any higher in this part of your life. Well, we're going to do it right now. We're going to open the door so that it can be done, let's put it that way, so that when you jump, you're on a trampoline this time, and you reach up and you touch the sun. All right, Eyes are closed. If you don't know how to flow dream, this is not meditation at all. It is not hypnosis. It's not affirmations. It's not creative. What's that called? Creative visualization. It really is about moving into a place called flow, the energetic underbelly of everything. And we use our emotion to communicate with this place. We use images, this sort of guided daydream that I'm going to take you on as a way for you to occupy your mind, give it something to do as we go to this place. You can find out exactly how to do it, though, by going to the website flow dreaming.com. by the way, I have a ton of MP3s, all different kinds of flow dreams that you can look at and listen to on just dozens and dozens of different topics and subjects. Great for you to model on, especially if you're beginning. Although, gosh, a lot of you have been doing this for five, six years now, and you just every month. I want more. I want more. Join the mentorship program if that's you, by the way. Okay, here we are. My eyes are closed. Your eyes should be closed. I like to have some music in the background, but I can just float on. I can feel soft waves, the soft sense of gliding. Just gliding through space, through time, through life. Gliding, gliding. Look where you've been gliding. Imagine yourself like you're a hang glider. But you feel very safe, very comfortable. The air is not cold. It's buoyant. It's bubbly. It's warm, soft around you. And as you glide, glide, glide. How. How close to the ground are you? Notice this. Are you way high up above everything, above the clouds, touching the stars? Or are you gliding close to the ground, low, pulled down? Maybe you've never thought about that. Never recognize that these areas of your life, life that never bear fruit, that always feel constrained, restricted, shackled. Every time you've gotten out of them, it's like you've just spun right back down into the same situation. Different person, different place, same thing. Oh, you say this is the level. This is the baseline. This is where survival mode is kicks in. I know I. I'll never really sink beneath this because this is. This is what I can handle. I have. I have pretty good faith in this, even when I've been lower than this. Oddly, I've brought myself back up, but to just this point. Again, you feel this level around you. It's odd. It's like an old shoe, a comfortable robe. It's really not that comfortable anymore. Not when you look at it. Not when you hold it out and take a peek. Doesn't feel that way. It's not your baseline anymore. You don't belong here anymore. You belong up higher. So spiral up right now. Spiral up into the sky. Go, go up, up, up, up, up, up. Way high. As quick as you can, as fast as you can. Up, up, up, up. Wasn't that exciting? Didn't that feel good? That is your new baseline. Up, up, up. Okay, I've got to take you out of your flow. Open those eyes up because our show has somehow ended very quickly when I was in my flow. So I hope to see you all next week or on the next podcast. Do explore the site where there's much longer, more beautiful flow dreams. Until next time, I'm Summer McStravik. So such a pleasure to be with you again for Flow Dreaming.
