Flow Dreaming.
It's a show where we talk about the power of your mind to change your world around you, to literally affect the fabric of your reality. We talk about this feeling of hope.
And joy and relief, and that is.
What being aware of your flow does.
It gives you a feeling of power.
Again in your lives.
Oh, my God. You were so on target. You are so amazing. I can't thank you enough.
Breathe.
It is the feeling that you bring forward.
It is your emotional connection that really sets the tone for what is going to be happening to you and for you. And you know that feeling, when you.
Touch it, it just spreads through you. Thank you for taking my call. I don't know why I feel like crying. I think I just feel your love, of course. And I think I'm gonna get some ANSWERS.
I'm Summer McStravik, and welcome to another episode of Flow Dreaming.
Well, hello, everyone. Yes, I am. Hi, I'm Summer McStravik, and welcome. Happy to be with you. As we explore yet another topic around the idea of being in flow and Flow Dreaming and basically how to create the kind of future that you want, that you're looking forward to. Our topic today is how you can learn to love disappointment or how disappointment can become your best friend. Friend. Or I know you're just like, how can she possibly talk about this? We're gonna go there. And I actually secretly kind of hope, I guess it's not secret now, that I'll change your thoughts about disappointment and what it means in your life and why it truly is an energy you can embrace and learn to work with. So it becomes very, very constructive for you. And not like constructive criticism. Kind of like you hate it, but you still have to deal with it because, you know, because it's good for you. No, actually, you'll learn to use disappointment to turn you in the direction you really should be going. Before we do that, a little bit of this and that about what's going on in the land of flow dreaming, that is. I'm pretty happy this week for a number of reasons. One of them is that I now have an app under development. I actually have more than one app. Recently won a little app contest. So for those of you who are listening to the Flow Dreaming podcast app, maybe that's how you're hearing me right now. Look, soon in the store. Well, not that soon. Couple months. You may be listening to this a couple months from now when I'm recording it. Anyway, there's going to be a suite of beautiful Flow Dreaming apps coming out. One of them will allow you to peruse all the other materials that I have. In the world of Flow Dreaming, another one is going to be giving you daily inspiration as well as exercises that you can practice each day to get in flow. Kind of like there's a word for it in the marketing world called pattern interrupts, meaning something that pulls you out of your preconditioned way of thinking and immediately puts you in another state. That is what I intend to make with that app. A series of pattern interrupts pull you out of your day, make you realign to whatever it is that you are looking to truly have. The other thing is that speaking of podcasts and this show, huge love and thanks go to you guys. Wow, you have been reviewing it on itunes. Thank you, thank you. Subscribing to it. This is really the only way that podcasts get pushed up the ranks and become more exposed and accessible to other people. So every time you do that, you're doing it not just for yourself, but for all the people who might want to discover it. I'm also, I'm just like giggling here. I have up in front of me on my computer right now the website for Stitcher, stitcher.com and some of you guys know Stitcher because you also get your podcasts through them. Flow Dreaming is currently ranking number 85 in the lifestyle and health category. Get this directly underneath number 84, a bit of Geek and Nerdery. That's the name of it. So I'm just below A Bit of Geek and Nerdery. However, I'm just above number 86, audio smut. So these apparently are my companions in the health and lifestyle category. Who knew? But I'm getting a kind of kick out of it. So again, those of you who listen to Stitcher, that's that's directly responsible for this ranking. So thanks very much. Also, a big hello to everybody out in Facebook land where you've noticed that I've been doing a lot more interaction there, kind of sharing in between, keeping it lively with thoughts and observations and pictures and posts. So go check that out. Flow Dreaming on Facebook. Okay, that's it. That's all I have to tell you about this week in Flow Land, other than, of course, the usual. Go visit the website flow dreaming.com it does underwrite this whole program, making it free to you. And you'll find an amazing selection of Flow Dreams there that you can work with to make some big changes. So the last one of the last updates here about MI school for the year. It is at capacity at this point. So there may be a few openings toward the end of the month. It depends on how things shake out at the very last. But otherwise we are gearing up for a year of outrageous manifesting and intuitive development. Deep inner core work. People who come out of this program are going to be practically different people. I'd like to say they would be more expressed than they have ever been in their entire life with more opportunities sitting in front of them, with more action. Haven't been taking place in the year then probably the five years preceding. All of these are our goals and I'm very confident that we'll achieve them because that's exactly what FLO does today. How to get along with disappointment. So I work with a lot of people's disappointment. I mean, day in, day out, it's probably the bulk of what I work with. I spend probably, you know, 45% of my time pointing people in a new direction, a direction that's in alignment, in flow, helping them see and understand. This is where your flow is going. This is your path of ease. This is your path of least resistance. This is who you are. This is what part of you should be coming out next. Well, the other 65% of the time is, here's why it's not coming out. Here is why you've had a hard time seeing this until now. Here is why you feel like you keep coming up to the gate but not walking through. And that has everything to do with our anticipation of disappointment in our life. Think of disappointment as having two aspects. One, the things that you fear you'll be disappointed about, which I did a series recently called the Lack Cycle and things that you have already been disappointed about or are currently being disappointed in. And I would say the two biggest ones for people or the three biggest ones are one, I'm disappointed that that relationship ended. I'm disappointed that he didn't call me and we got off to such a great start. It's usually a disappointment in another person. And yes, sometimes it's a deep disappointment in a family member for not living up to who you believe they could be. It can be a deep disappointment in yourself for not living up to who you think you could be. It is often a disappointment in someone that we want to love us or like us, and then it didn't work out. There's another disappointment, which is often about career. And it goes like this. Either I've already had my best job. I'm so angry at them that I was fired or let go or the company folded or whatever, but I will never get a good job as good as that again. I have a fear. I'm sensing disappointment in my future. It's all disappointment. Right. I'm pointing these out because all these supposedly wildly different scenarios, they're all holding the same, the same exact emotion inside of them. Do you see why emotion is so key when you are manifesting? This is it. This is where you go to fix things, create things, make things. Another kind of career related disappointment I come across a lot is by this time I should have been XYZ. And this is where you say I'm 30 now. I should have a great job. I'm 48. My retirement fund, you know, I should not have had to have used them. I'm disappointed. I'm not where I need to be. Another kind of disappointment is often surrounding. Well, it's sort of like career. It's money. I have been a spendthrift or not a spendthrift. Yeah, that means whatever it means when you've overspent. You know, I got myself in debt. I didn't make wise choices. I'm disappointed in myself. I'm disappointed. Get. Here's the, here's one. I'm disappointed in the universe for not giving me the opportunities I deserved. I'm disappointed in the universe that I didn't get X, Y, Z. It's kind of like the overall frustration you get with God essentially. That's a big one for a lot of people. They don't even realize it's there until a little bit of digging. Then I say, you can't run around being disappointed with the universe. The universe is just giving you who you are. It's just reflecting you perfectly. You know, take that back inside. That's you. It's not the universe's fault anyway. So these are all just different ways that disappointment can manifest in your life. And do does manifest in your life all the time. The thing about disappointment is that it's never going to go away. Ever. I know you say, wait a second, Summer, you're such an optimist. How can you possibly tell me this goes against everything you believe? Disappointment will always be there because for most of us it's in our natures to continually set up expectation. And the expectation often gets more and more narrow as we go along. Here's how that works. I'm looking for a new home where I'm filled with joy, where I want to live for a long time, where I have ample ability to pay for it. I feel so at ease. Everything about this home fills me with ease. And peace and just tickles me with excitement as well. Okay. Those are big emotions surrounding the concept of where you want to live. I could probably get even a little bit bigger. But then we start adding things in, and my ideal home is going to be here on these streets. And my ideal home won't cost me more than $1,200 in rent. And my ideal home has to have three bedrooms. And my ideal home can't smell like dog hair or cat pee. And, you know, and we start adding all of these things in. Pretty soon we have a pretty detailed and narrowly defined description of our ideal home. What's going on in the world of energy is this. There were many, many options to put you in your ideal home. The one that would give you joy every day. You woke up where almost everything about it was pretty perfect. But then you started throwing in restriction, restriction, restriction, restriction, clarifying, narrowing, clarifying, narrowing. You got into how it should look, what it should be like, what it should have, what it shouldn't have, when you should get it even. So now your flow, your future, is having fewer and fewer and fewer selections. It's kind of like this. Okay. You know, I do, I shop online. I'll admit I have not bought anything off the television ever. But weirdly, I love to buy online. So I will go to, you know, Nordstrom.com or Macy's.com or, you know, any of my favorite places. And if I type in pink shirt size, medium, buy this and this designer, you know, and I get really detailed. I end up with about four selections. And I look at them all and go, God, they're ugly. If I just type in shirts, you know, blouses, you know, what comes up a ton. Now, granted, still, most of everything that comes up is not what I want. But there may be a shirt that wasn't really pink. It was kind of red. And I love it. It is gorgeous. And I realized that is actually what I was looking for in my own mind. I had created a narrower set of what would fulfill me. But by opening up and expanding and thinking, I just want a shirt that's going to make me look amazing. That's what I really, really wanted. That's my emotion shirt that makes me look amazing. And maybe I did have a feeling, something bright, because I want to feel bright. I want to feel, you know, like it's gonna make me shine in it, noticeable. Okay, there you go. That's it. A sense of brightness and a sense of looking awesome. And now I found my blouse, and it came to me pretty quickly. Yes, I had more to look through. So what? When you walk through your life, you have a ton to look through every day. 90% of what you are looking at, what you are offered, you're discarding more than 90%. My goodness. When you go to the grocery store, you know, 99.999999999999% you're discarding, you don't want. However, if you're in flow, you're going to walk and find the thing that you are looking for. You will find that special jar of, you know, perfect mustard that you wanted. It will be there for you. It'll be the mustard that you were saying. I'm looking for something that is actually sweet and spicy and da da da da. And yes, it might be this brand, but I'm open, just fulfill my desire. So this is one way to handle disappointment, to step back and again address what is it I'm really after. How do I want it to make me feel? How do I want to feel at the end of it? Oh, I didn't get into those colleges. Okay. How do I want to feel at the end of my education? What do I want it to give to me in the big picture? Well, it may end up that those colleges that you chose, they weren't going to get you to that job in downtown New York that you really wanted. Because your path, you know, there were other ways for you to get there. In fact, easier ways, perhaps less expensive ways. You know, your flow understands this. Give it credit. What about when you have a very specific disappointment like, you know, how will I ever have a relationship as good as that again? I'm so disappointed. I'm so hurt. I lost it. Was it my fault? Was it their fault? Sometimes this comes up when it, you know, when you're divorcing and you're having second thoughts or regrets again. When you lose a job, when you lose something, there's often this sense of disappointment. Here's where I again say, everything that is disappointing you is in some way not aligned to you. It's a hard truth, but it's true. There's a flip side, but it's not aligned to you. The relationship that you used to be aligned to, you're no longer aligned with it. You have both grown, you've both changed, you both expanded either over two weeks or two years. Either way, the alignment is no longer perfect. And what you're actually saying is I wish to go backwards into a non aligned state or I wish to stay in a non aligned state. State, because I haven't given up hope yet that we will realign. When you are truly in flow, when you're working at the mastery level of creation, manifesting univers, working with universal energy, you are instead looking at it from a different perspective than that. You're saying, I feel that we're not aligned now. We may become realigned in the future. But the only thing I'm doing right now by tugging and pulling and grasping and hurting is restating to myself over and over, this non alignment. In effect, I'm perpetuating this non alignment because as I feel I am, as I feel I create. So I'm not going to do that. I'm going to say, where we are right now is blessed. It's perfect. It's where we have to be. Yes, I'm still mad, as mad as anything that maybe were there, angry at myself or the universe or you or whatever, doesn't matter. Those feelings can still be there. But I recognized it's still in a perfect state. Because change is happening every day, every moment. And this could flow down any of a dozen avenues. I don't know. But I do know that I want to be happy. I want to be in love. I'm feeling myself being cared for. I'm feeling someone who gets me. I'm feeling someone who is on pace with me. There's no more sense of reaching backwards for someone trying to align to something that I'm just not or can't, or struggling to reach forward to a place where they are that I just connect with. Right. Can you just. Can you see how the higher principle of being aligned to what's next, having faith and trust in that is always going to bring you to the better space. It will. That's how it works. It will bring you to the better space. So if you're choosing to stay in disappointment, you're basically choosing to stay with an idea that says, that's the best I'll ever do. That was it. It's all downhill from here. And I have encountered a lot of people coming to me with that mindset. And we start with it. It's not a bad thing or a wrong thing, it just is. No one's ever told you differently. And I begin by pointing out really, that was the pinnacle, that was the peak. Because if you're craving to go backwards into that, you're stating that it doesn't get any better. That was the highest that I could go. And sometimes that realization enough is enough to knock you loose and you go, oh my God, I don't believe that that is the best I'll ever have. Then I go, wonderful, let's stop aligning back to that. Let's align to the future. Let's align to what is going to bring you to that next step, that next person, that next home, that next job, that next opportunity. Let's go there. Because it's waiting and it's hovering and it's in your future and it wants to align to you. It can't do it without you stepping up and being there. It wants to align to you because that's what energy does. We are energy. We create relationships with each other. That is fundamental to human consciousness. They even theorize that without a relationship to something else, you couldn't actually be conscious. If you didn't at least have a relationship with a physical surrounding, you would have no awareness. What would you be aware of? You wouldn't be bouncing. There would be no information coming into you. We are built on relationships. Your future is nothing but a series of upcoming relationships. They are going to be there. You could even say, well, not if you die. I'd say, yeah, even when you die, those relationships will still be there. This is fundamental to the universe. It is about relationships. Everything relating with each other. Everything coming together in new patterns of exploration, sharing and life love. Okay, on that big philosophical note, I'm going to take a quickie break. I would love to hear from you today. By the way, if you have questions for me, if you want me to look into your flow, I'd absolutely love to do that. Just go on my website. You can reach me during my live show during that using that line. Okay, so quick break when we get back, more flow dreaming after this.

Welcome back to Flow Dreaming. Let's go to calls this time and we'll do our Flow Dream, which we do every podcast toward the end of the program. And that will be about flowing through disappointment and allowing it to open your eyes to what your next step really is. Okay, first, Kyosha, you're calling from New Jersey. How are you?
Hi. Hi, Thomas.
Hi, I'm great.
Hi. Basically, it's a question in reference to my love life and I just felt what you're speaking about today is just extreme connection to what's going on right now.
Yeah.
In reference to the way you're explaining disappointment, I'm trying to figure out how my greatest self really feels about the one I'm currently with. I don't know whether it's an ex of mine, but totally made a transformation. The man I'm with now and I'm trying to figure out it doesn't feel. I don't feel in love with him like I did when we were together in the past. And this time it's under positive and flowing circumstances. I just question that. Like I'm afraid to feel possible disappointment that it's not there anymore. In love, feeling for him anymore. Maybe I should just move on. Or I worry that I'm possibly.
Self.
Sabotaging the relationship because I'm not allowing myself to truly fall in Love with him all over again or should just move on.
Yeah, I can feel that in you. There's a large sense of what's wrong with me. Now that I got what I wanted, why don't I want it? That's the basic emotion. So you have a lot of. It's not even self doubt. It's more really. What's the emotional name for that? What's wrong with me? I wish there was a word, an emotional word for that. Let me just look around here and see. You know what I still feel inside you. You still feel a lot of hurt inside of you. Even though he's come back around, Even though he has, as you said, changed, or he's come back in a good positive way, you haven't released the hurt. You haven't released it from the first time around. That is what is creating the wall. You can't fall back in love with him until you feel that all of the hurt is out of you and that he knows the extent of the hurt and he's still willing to be there despite the hurt. I don't know if you realize it, but the barrier is still strong.
I didn't realize that at all.
Yeah, examine that, you know, let it come up inside you. What happens when you let go of the hurt? How much is still left? Does he know about this hurt? If you let it go, then at least you will have the choice to love him again or to recognize that, no, I did this and now I'm moving on. You see, you can't fully make that choice right now because you've got this other thing that's holding you. That's why it's frustrating you that you can't figure out. Why can't I make the choice? You will be able to make the choice once that's taken care of. So what I would do with you is just close your eyes right now and relax. Let yourself go. Bring him up in your mind. Feelings about him, just the sense of him, and just start communicating. Open up your feelings with him there and acknowledge. I still feel hurt. You may have changed, but I haven't fully changed. I'm still hurt. I need to move beyond the hurt. And maybe you can help me figure out how to do that. Maybe that's what I need to ask from you. Help me move beyond the hurt. Stand there for me while I do it. Be there for me while we do it together. And then I can make a new choice, a new feeling, because I want to. And it's driving me crazy that I haven't been able to.
Yeah, it has been driving me crazy.
Yeah. So you're just saying this to him in your flow. You're acknowledging it deep inside yourself. You are creating this scenario. I call it preconditioning, meaning you create the scenario energetically first. It's different than a daydream, you know, or trying to work something out in your head. You're actually feeling the energy state you want to take place between the two of you. You feel the emotional exchange. You don't go into fear or doubt. You're the one in charge. So your end result of this conversation. Ah. Is a feeling of relief. Ah. I can finally make a decision. Ah. I don't have to feel tied between doing what should be right or looks like it's right and doing what I need. Ah. I'm released from that. Okay, so open your eyes again. So that's a way. If you practice that, that's a way you're going to be able to get to that point.
All right.
Okay.
All right. Thank you so much. I really needed this. Thank you.
Thanks, Kyosha. Take care. Bye. It's interesting. When I do look in people, I know you can hear. Yes, I'm going into flow with them. I'm also empathically attuning to them. I can feel what she's feeling. And what hit me was a wall of hurt. And she's been saying to herself, I should be over this. You know, he's not like that now, or whatever passed. It's between us. And she's getting angry at herself for not having let it go. And because of that, she can't make a decision. So, you know, that energy, whatever emotional state is in you, in an energy state, it stays in you. It's part of you until it's resolved and addressed. That is the exact same energy that you manifest from. That is what will go into her future, or your energy state will go into your future. And that is what you will continue to manifest until it's addressed the way you probably have gathered this by now. But when I teach manifesting and flow dreaming, a lot of it is about changing our insides so that the external world can catch up. It always will. And I see people try and do it in reverse. They try and change their external world, hoping that their insides will catch up. And they don't. Not always. It's not reliable. These are people who say, well, I'm going to become rich and successful. They try, try, try. And a lot of times they do. They change their external worlds. They're rich and successful. But how many stories have you heard from people? And they say, and then I lost it all and then I hit the bottle and then my marriage crumbled. And then, you know, and you know, it's tabloid stuff because they changed the outside, but the insides didn't feel follow. The insides couldn't hold it together. The insides couldn't keep up. Yet the people who change inside, who manifest inside first and then allow that to spill over day to day through their choices, their anticipation, their expectations, the energy that they're constantly mirroring forth their pre action as I would call it, those are the people who live those big, beautiful yet humble lives.
Those.
And we know them too. They're the happy family. You know, they're the millionaire who actually is rich and does give to a billion charities. You know, they are the happy, content person who isn't rich. They don't care about that. They just love their family and live a good, great life. And you know that, you know, they are the neighbor that you can run and call on any time and they will be there for you even though you only talk to them, you know, four times a year. You knew if you had to run across the street, they would be the ones because their insides are good and right and they have manifested to the extent outside of them to match that. And not everybody has dreams of golden palaces. For some people, a dream is just being in a nice comfort zone. You know, it's like we all sort of land up at a level where our comfort zone exists. And despite what western society tells us, it's not the same for everyone. Some people says my comfort area is going to be a million dollars a year. Some people say, no, my comfort area is, you know, $50,000 a year. And I have my own home and I travel and I go wherever I want and I never stress and I never have to answer to a boss. And I'm healthy, I have great friends and that's my comfort zone. So, you know, that is where we go to. And then we want to stay, you know, we want to stay and experience that for a while. Now, inevitably, that zone is going to move on in your life. Most people don't stay in that same spot forever. They get an itch, they get a hankering. They say, now I'm ready for something more. Now I'm ready to get the RV and go across the country. Now I'm ready to, you know, go back and get a, you know, develop a second career in art. And then we say, okay, next level, you know, let's go bigger from that point. All right, let me see. What do I have going on here? Where are you guys today? I have open phone lines the last week and this one. How strange. I think, I think it must be the time of year when I, when I broadcast around the holidays. Everyone's, you know, I'm sitting by a lake, I couldn't call in. It's like, oh, I understand. All right. I am kind of curious, though. I'd like to hear some of your responses on disappointment. What haven't I told you about it? What haven't I addressed? If you have any ideas for that, just give me a call. I don't always have to look in you and, you know, fix something in your life. So be thinking about that as we go to our next quick break. When we get back, we're going to do our Flow Dreaming.
Hi, it's summer, but on break. And I know that some of you are still wondering, what is Flow Dreaming and what is MI School? Because I refer to both of these quite a bit in my podcast. Me School is a transformational program. It's a gorgeous and deeply revealing, empowering online school worldwide where I teach you how to remodel your life in any way you choose using the technique of flow dreaming as well as a bunch of other deeply powerful life changing processes. So me School is either enrolling or it's accepting names onto the wait list. And that means that I'm accepting students who work with me for the year. And you can learn how to do what I do in life the way I think, the way I build things, make things, heal things. Everything I talk about you will learn directly from me how to do. You're going to create some amazing things, my MI schoolers. Their lives change way beyond the norm. And you don't even have to be a superstar when you go in. Some of you are, and you're ready to go bigger, play in that bigger field. And some of you are just saying, hey, help.
What's next? Where should I go?
And both are fine. Both are great if you're ready to go big. But you know that you need to deepen your own spiritual practice and your personal growth, because that's where it all comes from, right? Then this is where you need to be. Your life only grows as big as you do. So here's what to do. Go over to flowdreaming.com and click on MI School. And during these enrollment periods, you can actually set up a free phone call with me or my staff and we'll Talk about it.
Is it a fit? Is it interesting?
During waitlist times, we just put you on a list of people who've expressed interest, so we can notify you as soon as the doors open.
All right.
I look forward to hearing from you and even more to getting to know you as one of my personal students in me school. Now let's get back to the episode.
Manifest your life with Summer McStravik and Flow Dreaming. Oh, well, here I am back. I just realized I'm back on air. Didn't realize it. Well, welcome back, everyone. We're going to be doing a flow dream here to work through some of the disappointment in your life. And there you go. Guys are all calling in now. Calling it at the last 10 minutes of my podcast. Let's see what I can do. Call in sooner, sooner, sooner. I'll get you that way. But thank you anyways for calling in. I will get back to you as soon as we do our flow dream. All right. Taking a deep breath just to center myself. I like to relax my body so that my mind can drift more easily. Drifting into the flow, into a flow dream. Letting myself daydream. Imagine this is easy. Going into my flow is so easy. It's the easiest thing ever. Like breathing, like feeling sleepy just happens. It's already part of me. I don't need to learn it. Connecting into my flow, moving into alignment. That's my natural state. Like slipping into a warm bath. It feels good. Feels right. I'm feeling good. I'm feeling right. I'm feeling aligned. I walk down a path in my mind, the path that leads out into the silvery hills in the distance. All around me is light, air, energy, color. And I'm walking very slowly, comfortably. No particular place to go, no particular speed to go. There. I move without effort and move in alignment. This is my flow, my path of ease, my path of grace. And I can feel how here, everything that is right for me comes to me. My next step, where I'm supposed to go. The person I'm becoming as I expand and grow and get deeper into contentment in my life. That's here, that's now. That is this path. And as I look forward, I can see all kinds of things shimmering in the distance, like silvery threads ready to weave themselves into my life. They're already there. I don't have to do anything for them. I already did things for them. I already asked for them. Through every thought and feeling and emotion I have had. And I turn my head from side to side. Maybe I even look backwards and I recognize little darker streaks, smudges. And I say, oh, those are the things that I'm not aligned to. Does not align to them. If I were on a train, I was tempted to get out at that stop. But it's not my stop. It's someone else's. I have a stop. We all do. Every one of us has the correct stops. But we get out and experience and say, now this. This is mine. This. This, I am aligned to this. This is what is next for me. This is in keeping with my higher self, my greater good, the life path that I have sworn deep into my soul to walk. And yes, these others have tempted me. Yes, some of them have disappointed me. Some of them, I thought, oh, you were so close. I thought you were the one. And then I realized, no. And on the heels of that feeling comes another feeling, a wave of feeling right behind that that says, no, they were not in alignment. And it's good to know that if I didn't know that, I would have spent days, weeks, years in a state of less than, a state of less than, and I'd be telling myself that it was good enough. That's not who I'm choosing to be anymore. I'm not choosing to be good enough. I am honing in on perfect alignment, perfect contentment, bliss, joy, growth, love. That's not just an opportunity. It's going to be me. It is me. It's my choice. Other people never reach for this choice because they say they can't have it from the start. It just leaves more room for me because I say I can have it because I've already done the it's good enough route. I've done it. And it led to me staying with things that were ultimately disappointing and not in my alignment. I release this feeling. I release this realization into my feelings. Flow. It flows out of me now, all of me. It flows into the energies around me. They reverberate and reflect it back. And I can feel coming from me, confirmation. My flow is nodding yes. My flow is agreeing. My flow is saying, why take second best when you could have the best? You could have the best. It's here, it's ready. It's ripe. We want to offer it to you, but if your plate is already filled, you can't put it on. And so you say, I will have the empty plate, knowing it will be filled continuously and then it will be refilled and refilled again. And you linger on this feeling, this knowing that every disappointment has been a gift, a gift of saying, this is Below you. This is beneath you. You are past this. This isn't in alignment. There is something else. Don't you want to stay on that path? And you vigorously say, yes, yes, yes. Because you know it's not a fool's errand. You know that all energy leads somewhere. It's the choices we make, the path we choose. Yours is into ever increasing alignment, increasing joy. Scoop it into you. Scoop those feelings right into your heart. In the flow, in this place. It's an energy. You can bathe in it. You can bask in it. Glowing glitter falling from the sky over you. This is your alignment. It's uniquely yours. It's all you. And the right people fit it. The right situations fit it. The right homes fit it. The right jobs fit it always. And with that feeling lingering inside of you, your daydream ends. And you open your eyes and there you go. That is a sample of a flow dream. That is how I would engage personally with the universe. If I was going through deep feelings of frustration or disappointment, I would remind myself, here's what I'm actually creating. I'm actually creating what's next. And what's next is going to fit me, fulfill me, and I'm not looking at anything else. And feeling mourning or loss, at least more than temporarily, of course, for some things we do, but I let those pass through me. I move with gusto and joy into change. So if you liked that, if it felt a bit different than a meditation, it should have because it was emotionally centered. There was a bit of imagery. Sometimes I use a lot more, sometimes I don't. Just depends on what we're creating and what I want your mind to be doing or thinking. And check it out. We have time for calls, so let's go to Christina in New York. Hey, Christina.
Hi, Summer.
How are you? I'm great. What can I help you with?
Oh, boy.
Basically, my boyfriend and I have been together for almost 17 years. We met him film school, and we tried to get our film dream happening. And my boyfriend's super disappointed that it hasn't happened yet. We just had a baby and I just found out that he's in love with another woman. So it's just been, you know, since I found out, which has been a couple of weeks now, it's been, I'm sitting in disappointed, disappointment. He's sitting in disappointment because of his career and what he's done, but he still can't make a decision of who he wants to choose. But he wants both. And it's very confusing. And I Was wondering if he could check out his slow. Maybe.
Yeah.
What's going on?
Yeah. What's his first name? Because this is a big situation. It's his first name. Andrew. Andrew, where are you, Andrew? He just, he feels like a man who's had a big pot of soup turned upside down on his head. It's a weird, weird feeling. But he just, I just came to him and he just looked at me like everything is just crap. Actually, he uses worse words than that. Sorry, I'm making it radio friendly. Yeah. You know, he has. You feel disappointed. I mean, you're a new mom, you have a baby. This should be the point where he is swooping into your life in an even bigger way, you know, stepping up. This is his moment as a man to step up as a father, a provider, all of it. But he has these areas, you know, he's pointing to in his life where he feels he hasn't made it. He hasn't made it. His, you know, his what? Of his film or his work. Somehow he feels like, you know, he doesn't. He has a very low sense of his. He has low feelings about himself. Fundamentally, this is one of the reasons that opened him to having another woman in his life. Because, you know, he would look to you and, you know, he knows what his obligations are. He knows he cares about you. He now has more obligations with the baby. He's not fulfilling anything. And so when someone else steps in and says, you're okay, it's good. I like you, I think you're wonderful. I think it's, you know, he was drawn like a moth to the flame away because, you know, it's not even her. It's the feeling that she gives him right now. It's a feeling of, at least I can be successful there.
Yeah.
So that, that's what you're looking at here. I'm asking him, andrew, what do you intend to do? He's saying to me, it's going to sort itself out. It'll get sorted out. He feels like in a couple of months it will be figured out. This is kind of a weird thing because, you know, my question would be, what makes you say that if you're not doing anything to figure it out? So he's giving me, yeah, he's giving me a rationalization that he's giving himself. He actually doesn't know what he's going to do. He really doesn't. But he's saying to himself, it's just going to happen. It'll get figured out. Well, how do you Feel about Christina again. You're part of the life that's been frustrating him. It's not you. It's not you, but you're part of it. It's almost like he's looking at you like you represent. He's not seeing you for you right now. He's not seeing you as who you really are, who he really fell in love with. He's seeing you as representative of a life that he hasn't been successful at. He has to get past that in his mind. So I'm just. I've got to wrap it up, but I just want to tell him, you need to look at her. You don't need to come in with a feeling of what I have to give, what I have to do, what I have to. Don't look at any of that. Just look at her, who she is, what she's done for you, what you just committed to with her. You'll. I'm telling him I'm actually helping him more than you on this call. I'm sorry, but he needs it. I'm just telling him if he can see you again for who you are, he will be able to make his decision. That's his key to figuring this out.
Yes.
All right. Christina, I wish I could have stayed with you longer. I have to go. You're so welcome, my dear. My love goes with you. I know. Thank you. Very hard place. All right. Oh, you're so welcome. I thought we were going to have time to get someone else, but, you know, I ended up going a little bit longer there. So there you go. That's another example of what it means to go into a person's flow, look at their mind empathically, and then make some changes, make some suggestions. All right, until next week. Hey, everyone. My love to you all. Keep Flow dreaming. Hope to see you on either itunes or stitcher, or at Facebook or even at my website. Thanks a lot and talk to you next time.
