#458: The Imperfect Science of the Severely Messed Up

Now off we go to the show, and here we are with Flow dreaming. I'm Summer McStravik. So delighted to be with you today. We have a funny, funny topic today. A funny name for a very serious topic. And, yeah, it's the imperfect science of the severely messed up up. So today's topic is inspired by the fact that the new flow dream@flowdreaming.com in the manifesting shop is called I hope you like this, too, Mercury retrograde antidote. I've been threatening to make this Flow dream for years now because if you know anything about the planet Mercury and astrology, there are these periods that occur very predictably. You can look them up in the Farmer's Almanac or online anywhere, and you can see periods where Mercury appears to be traveling backwards. It's not really. It's just slowed down, and other planets are kind of overtaking things. But we call it Mercury retrograde. And in astrology, it means that the tendency for Mercury, historically known through Greek and Roman, sure. Folklore is that Mercury, the God Mercury, the planet, is in charge of communication. It's in charge of things going forward, plans moving ahead, things Being clear and open. And if Mercury gets disturbed, upset, goes backwards, has any problems at all, it means all of your plans just go to go to pot. Your communication falls apart, people throw monkey wrenches. Things that you've been developing forever just suddenly just disappear overnight. You lose stuff. Things break, electronics break. It's just like the ultimate calamity of all of your plans, planet. So we're looking at this today from a flow perspective, an energetic perspective, an emotional perspective, acknowledging that, yes, in fact, Mercury does have influence on us. And everything has influence on us, though. Everything. Everything that's made of anything exerts a pull or a flow toward us. And that includes planets, but it also includes your neighbors, your town, your city. So, as you can tell, I have kind of a unique view of astrology and everything else. We're being pulled in a million, million directions, but really, it's because we're all in everybody else's flow, right? We're all flowing together, layers upon layers of energy traveling in distinct directions, some of them towards each other, some of them away from each other, and on and on. So sorry about that. It seems like every show, there's something strange going on in my office. Speaking of Mercury right now, I had kept my cat in because she caught a lizard. And the lizard has been playing dead for the last 30 minutes while I'm trying to scoot him away out on the porch. And the cat just headbutted the glass door open on her own, and now she's out with the lizard, and I can't do anything about it because I'm talking to you. So let's all pray for the lizard right now. Anyway, let's get Back to Mercury. May 19th. Actually, if you're listening to this, in 2015, May 19th through June 11th, we have another period where the energies are going astray and awry. Also September 17th through October 9th of this year. In fact, this year, Mercury will have been in retrograde about 63 days. That's. That's more than two months of stalled projects and things breaking and icky, etc. Now, it doesn't just take Mercury to do this. We can slip and slide and fall and, you know, stumble into these periods of poor communication, things breaking, electronics breaking and so on. At any point, really, all it takes is a push and pull of a few things. Some misalignment, some getting off track, some resistance, some somebody else who's offline, off track, maybe even your workplace or people in your family. And there you have it. Suddenly you have, let's say, caught the energy. Think of energy for a second as catching, right? It's like a virus. You can catch it, you can catch other people's energies. This morning I was in line at the grocery store and There was only one checker and it was 8am and clearly they were not anticipating all these people coming in at 8am because the line was nine people long and we all had like one or two things on our hand. Like all of us just stopped in for a second to buy like something quick. And the energy that started swirling up was like voom, voom, voom. You know, everyone was suddenly getting really pissed off and it's only 8am in the morning. It was catching. Energy's catching, so is the energy of things getting messed up. So we're looking at your flow right now. How do you correct that? How do you know when you're in that place? You know, what is the dawning awareness that wow, everything is suddenly getting messed up? Why? What did I do? What was I thinking? You know, we head trip ourselves often when we don't even need to. If you just understand the basics of how things work. A fundamental understanding of flow energy and flow dreaming, when we're flow dreaming and creating and manifesting, is that we are able to change things for ourself in the present, in the future, and even incidentally in the past by moving the energy of our emotional and energetic direction, our flow, our spiritual direction. If you imagine for a moment that your physical body, yes, is made of atoms, molecules, you know, energy essentially just packed together, looks hard, and then you think about all the rest of you. Your thoughts, your feelings, your emotions, your experiences. Do experiences become not real once they've already been done and gone through? Are they not real in the making? Are they just a crush of physical events coming together with mental thoughts about them and emotions and then they disappear? No. Everything that came together, think of it like a snapshot. You take pictures of every fragment every second. The pictures are not just of the physical stuff, like a normal photograph, but it's of every emotion, every intention, every feeling, every thought, all of that is captured too. So a circumstance, an experience, is really a capturing of this huge amount of information of data. And this information then is cataloged, it's kept, it's stored, it happened, it doesn't unhappen, nor do you find yourself forgetting it. The very fact that you're still retrieving that information, it is existing. All of this information that we have in our past, that everything around it has in its past of already having had Happened make sense, becomes part of who we are in the present. Think of your body as the tiny tip of a big funnel. You know, a funnel like, you know, you're. You're pouring something into a little tiny jar and, you know, the big pot and goes into the little tiny, you know, olive oil, you know, jar. Well, think of the bottom of that funnel as your physical body. It captures and stores information, right? It experiences it, then it uploads it. You could say to the rest of you, the bigger part of the funnel, the energy self, the emotional self, or collectively the flow self, energy, which you can call spirit if you want, and call soul if you want emotion, which is the language, the communication, the interpretation, right? You can have energy out there, but if nobody can interpret it, how does it ever become anything? Right? If I just threw a whole bunch of energy down on the ground, what would it be? Nothing. Unless there was some sort of informational force that made sense of it, right? And our connection to that informational force is our emotional self, because that is how we experience and interpret this kind of world best. We try to get our thoughts around it and we fail and give up and go, I'm an atheist. We try to put our physical self there and we're like, well, we can't get out of our physical body. Well, that easily. Unless you're expert at, say, remote viewing or astral travel. It's really the emotional part of us that has the primary means of connecting. So imagine that again, you're this being with all of this experience, all this past knowledge and everything, and you're moving into your future. You're going forward. You have to be right? As long as you're alive, and frankly, as long as you're dead, you're still collecting and gathering experience. That's what you do. That's what we are. That's what we are made to do. Little information gatherers, little experience gatherers. And we build up these crazy belief systems around what we're supposed to do with the experience we gather and what will be judged on based on the experience we gather and how much we've changed based on the experience we gather. And we call these giant world religions, we call these philosophies, we call them cults, we call them all kinds of things depending on your current perspective at the time. They're just organizing this information, how we interpret this information that we're part of and what we do with it. So in flow thinking, we see ourselves as these beings in motion. We are having a future, right? Whether we're in a body or out of a body, we're still existing within a future. If you take that one basic premise, that our consciousness continues, that's all you need to believe. That's all you need to believe. And you can even decide at what degree of consciousness you can believe. The whole kit and caboodle, the entire collection of you, continues on and we're just kind of momentarily residing in a physical vessel. Or you can say, well, only a bit of us goes on this super sentient awareness that goes right back to God and we forget all of our personalities, right? Everybody's got a belief system about that. But as long as there's this concept that there will be a future for you where you collect information and you collect material, then you can start to see how we all have a flow, a direction. And the direction is based on everything we've done and everything we are currently doing, right? Everything we've done becomes the boat. It's what we look like. Some of us are little dinghies and rowboats. Some of us are grand yachts. We've made all kinds of interesting things, you know, pieces and parts and shapes for ourselves. But the steering of the yacht. The steering of the boat happens right now. Right now. Now the boat's probably already in a direction because you've been steering it for 25 years, 32 years, 54 years, 78 years. However old you are, you've been steering it your whole life. So there's pretty much a trend, right? There's a good direction going on. And when you look forward into your life, you have a lot of things you can predict. I'll probably wake up in my house tomorrow. I will probably have my husband there with me tomorrow. I'll probably have my children. I'll probably go to work. I'll probably. Probably. Probably. Because we've already created all of that in now. What happens when we interact with other people's flows, Right? Our predictable. Generally recognized where we're going, the trajectory where an arrow shot into the future of time. We are going to be interacting with other people. Oh, yeah. And other things and other stuff. Now these people are going to introduce a lot of instability in our life. They're going to introduce things that we didn't create, we didn't specifically make or set up or sort of try to have happen, right? This is just the weird stuff, the stuff that goes on. This is the person who runs up and taps you on the shoulder and says, you look just like Marilyn Monroe. What? Where did you come from? What? That's never happened to me, by the way. I wish it would, but I think those days are over. People bring in new experiences to you, right? Keeps the game of life from being too predictable. If we were all perfect manifestors and we all just got whatever we wanted whenever we wanted it, why be alive? You'd be bored, bored to tears within about two months of getting everything you wanted, exactly when you wanted it. Because if something bad happened, you'd say, correction, don't want that better thing. Instead, you'd end up in a state of what, Eternal bliss? Isn't that the God state everybody's trying to get to? Interesting philosophical questions arise here. Let's say you have people coming in and they're throwing stuff into your life, and they're throwing unpredictable stuff in. Now, a lot of them are throwing predictable stuff in because they, too, have created certain directions in their life, and they have wants and desires, and they're looking around for other people who are going to align with them. And this is where you start to see those fun and beautiful synchronicities occur. Like, oh, my God, I just got hired for the best job of my entire life. Whoa. I think I just met my soulmate. You know, my best friend and I, we are the only thing that's kept each other going. And I was so lucky that I ran into her buying a jar of pickles at the grocery store when I was 18 years old. You know, things like that, where we are making these agreements, like, yeah, we fit, we line, we match. This is amazing. Let's create this together. And that's how we end up teaming up with other people, with jobs, with families, and on and on. So if you imagine all of these flows coming together, imagine, remember the movie Tron, right, where you're kind of skating along those, I don't know, waves of light, essentially, you know, scooting along those neon bars. Sometimes, I imagine, flow like that, we're billions, trillions, quadrillions, septillions, neptuns, however big it goes, of energy flows moving all in the same direction. Thank God. Or wouldn't that be chaos if some of us were going back in time when the rest were going forward? And we're overlapping and we're aligning and we're pulling things together. And there are connective forces that make some things come together with greater probability than others. And the greater probability has everything to do with you and your consciousness. What you have created in yourself, what you are now is what you manifest tomorrow. Right. Got that? What you are now is what you manifest Tomorrow, very easy. Simple, Simple. It's as simple as E equals MC squared. I think all the biggest, most important teachings are fundamentally jaw droppingly simple. It's the execution that becomes like, oh boy, what do I do? So say you have these people and they're all scooting forward, skating forward like Tron, going into their futures, their flows. You're aligning with some. Some are just randomly crashing into you because they don't know what the heck they're doing. They've never heard of manifesting or co creation and they're just taking what they get, running into who they run into. And anybody who's a little more aware, it's their job to say, yes, I'll take this or no, you're not part of my flow. I'm not connecting to this. I'm just going to scoot right on past you. Most people accept a certain amount of random chaos because they're not always in that place of awareness where they can say, I know what's happening. This is not part of me. It doesn't align to me. It moves on. They have a little bit of themselves open, right? Because they're not in a fully focused aligned state. Myself included. I have chaos and weird stuff happen too. Most of my life though, is humming along because of all the constant creation I'm doing. My big goal is to make more and more constant creation and less and less chaos, right? Or have the chaos be in beautiful alignment. So instead it turns into gorgeous, unexpected synchronicities. I go, oh, Flo aligned up something else for me that I wasn't expecting. That's absolutely and utterly perfect. That's amazing. That's what I'm looking for. So when you have something like the to go back to it finally Mercury retrograde happening, what you're saying is I'm being pushed and pulled by influences outside myself. And instead of staying in my alignment, somehow I've become infected by that energy virus of someone else. I fell out of whack too. How did I do that? It's like dropping out of high gear. Ugh. I got so pissed off in that grocery store line this morning. I got really frustrated about my bill paying this month because I feel like I can never change it. What happens is we end up giving our power away in one form or another. Give her power away. And giving your power away is the moment when you acknowledge that something else now has say so over you. This morning in line, the line it had say so over me. The way the grocery store was run and things had the say so over me. I gave my power to them by accepting it and standing meekly in line. What is always the response to this? For almost everybody, it's frustration, it's anger. What about paying my bills at the end of the month and coming up short again, frustration, anger. Where is my, where did I give my power up there? I gave it up to beliefs I'm not good enough. Gave it up to my job doesn't pay enough. I can't get more. My lack thinking on and on. So let's say that I have now just given up my power, which means that I am not actively manifesting and creating for myself. I gave my ability to someone or something else in that moment, in those feelings, in that belief, and I gave them the ability to act for me, to control me, to narrow me in to their own narrow little channel of despair. Right. I did that. As a person with power, I can choose to give up the power anytime. That's an act of power. Giving up my power. I can also take my power back anytime I want. That's also an act of power. I always have the active power. I can temporarily give it away, I can assign it, I can blame, I can justify it, but I'm always giving it to something else. So when you catch yourself in a situation scenario and things are falling apart, you're like, okay, I don't even want to figure out how I got here because I could probably unravel this one for days. But I just want to know how to get out. All you do is you acknowledge I'm back in my power. Mercury does not have power over me, no matter what. You know, my astrology chart might make me think it has an influence over me. There might be a tendency, but a tendency or an influence that's not an absolute. Think of tendencies as opportunities. There's an opportunity for things to fall apart. Other times, you know, Jupiter's in the. In the game, there's opportunities for big, wonderful things to happen. Do you want to take one opportunity and bypass the next? Absolutely. You don't have to take everything any more than you have to take everything that everyone else is trying to throw at you. People are always trying to throw their power at you. Someday you'll start to recognize that you'll realize, wow, this person's so angry at me. They gave me all their power. Why did they do that? I wish they would just take it back. It's not my responsibility. It's not my responsibility to change how they feel or for them to get their needs met. It's their responsibility. I don't want your power. Take it back. Even that philosophy just fundamentally changes your way of life. You know, in MI school, I guess I'm a little fired up about this because I just taught one of my classes this morning and we're going deep into power and energy and who's got it and how to play the cards in the correct way that you win. You win all the time. You win so often they. Well, they never really kick you out of the casino of life, do they? I like to think they just bump us up to the more expert level anyway because we're playing with bigger amounts.

Woo.

So what you do to go back to that, when you find yourself in a place where things are falling apart miscommunicated, you just stop and say, look, I have fallen out of my alignment. I have given up my power to something. It feels very real in the moment. Perhaps it is real. It's actually changing things. It's turning things in different directions. Does that mean those things will stay that way? And then you can go ahead and dramatize it with a sense of grand finality and all of that, or you can say, everything is moving, everything is in flow. I take my power back. I take it over the situation. I return it to where it was going, which was already strong because I have been creating that. And I'm back in alignment right now. I refuse to give my power to mercury. I refuse to give my power to my co workers. I refuse to give my power to my family. I take it back right now. Now, taking your own power back is very different than powering over or overpowering. I mean, there's a reason. There's two different words for that. Overpowering means now you're taking someone else's power. You don't ever want to do that. It's not good for you. It's draining. And it's exceedingly difficult to manage. Right? Because not only do you have to manage your own power, you've got to manage somebody else's power. And they're probably fighting you a lot of the time, or they're miserable with you all the time. It is an ineffective way to live. It's not like doubling your fun. It is decreasing your expertise by a factor of at least 50%. So there you go. A little essay today on power and control and mercury and alignment and how not to be affected by things that throw you off track, that screw up your communication. Hey, my communication got all screwed up on this project. What do I need to do? Take my Power back. How does that feel? It means I call this person up right now, we square it out, and we don't stop until I see that it's been resolved, period. And if it reaches a point where I can't resolve it, I say, interesting. Apparently there's something greater at work here, and I'm calling it Resistance. And then I turn and I start working with it from the flow perspective of resistance, which is a whole other show. All right, that's all I've got to say today. Hope that opened your eyes to a little bit. Believe me, I don't know where all this stuff comes from. I sit down and like today's show. I looked at my notes for three minutes before the podcast. Maybe you're laughing. You're like, I can tell. Or maybe you're saying, oh, my gosh. The point is, for me anymore, it becomes an exercise in almost giving up my power to something greater, to flow itself. That's the only time I ever. I don't even want to say give up my power. Let's just say I release because I know there's something bigger that I want to learn and I have to let go in order to receive it. All right, we're going to go to a quick break. Hello, Summer. Yeah, hi. How are you?

I'm great. How about you?

Oh, great. Thank you.

Thank you. Yeah. I would love for you to read my flow.

I know. I was gonna say, tell me what's on your mind. Everyone pauses and waits for me. It's like, I know I talk a lot, but I'm actually gonna let you have a spot. Say something.

Yes, definitely. Well, I know a lot. What you said today really strikes a chord as to. Is my career not moving forward because of me procrastinating, or is it because, like. Because I'm supposed to be learning something right now? Am I on the right direction? I recently had a career change. I wasn't very happy. I was doing your flow and, you know, like, are you happy with, you know, where you're at, your ceiling? I took a good look and I was not happy. Ended up leaving the position. And since then, for the last six months, got married, had some changes, and thought I wanted to go into, like, academic advising. Nothing has come my way. I've been applying for, like, six months, and I'm like, is this the right path I'm supposed to be on? So I've just been, you know, taking time for myself, painting, you know, trying to figure out what. I'm sorry, my dog. What I'm supposed to be doing. And so I was hoping that you could kind of find out, you know, if anything's going to come soon. Is it there's blocks in my flow or am I on the right path? Or is it just because the right job hasn't come yet?

No. Isn't it irritating when the universe doesn't play by our timeline for it?

Yeah, yeah. I know. That's my life. I think that's my life lesson. Being a Leo. I'm very impatient. I wanted it yesterday. Yeah.

Not only do I want it, but I want it exactly when I want it. Yeah. Yeah. Like, we have to pick a choice. We can get what we don't want and get it right away, or we can. Or what we want for when it's ripe and ready. You know, it's like the kid who runs out and picks the green apples off the tree. But I'm hungry now, but they're going to give you a stomach ache now. It feels like the flow and the universe does that, especially during periods of transition. I noticed that in periods of transition, there's often these big, open, empty spaces of energy. It's like pauses. One thing ends and there's a pause, and then something begins. And we get very frustrated at these pauses. We don't want to be in these pauses. We want to be in the same level of high engaged, you know, fast bicycle riding activity. We don't want to break, because if we break, we're going to have to sit and look at ourselves and look around us and see what we've been bicycling through so quickly all this time. I think sometimes our flow gives this to us as almost necessary, transitional. You know, it's like the cartilage in your knee. You've got to have that rubbery stuff in there so that the bones will bend, I guess you could say. Think of transitions as the cartilage. It's the part that gives you the, you know, the rubbery downtime in between. And it's not a time to say, am I experiencing resistance? Should I not do this, Should I not do that? It's a good time to start trying a lot of different things. I find there's no harm in it. You can say I'm going to keep applying for academic advisement and if that's the right thing for me, I'll receive it and it will come at the time it needs to come. I'd rather have a wonderful, total winner job and wait for it.

Yeah.

Then take something that's sucky, that I'm going to quit in six months and have to go through this, this empty period again. Okay.

Do you see that coming soon? Because I've kind of been waiting for a while and then I'm kind of like, should I just take a I need a job job? Which I did recently as well, and that ended up, am I on the right path? I mean, do you see anything coming.

For me or the I need a job jobs? They always end pretty quickly because you go into them with the energy of, I hate you, I don't want you. Right. And usually that's, you know, eventually you force yourself out of them, even as you force yourself into them. So tell me some of these other areas that you're exploring besides academic advising.

Well, I'm a social worker and I didn't like the hard everyday grind, you know, like, it was very intense, you know, like, yeah, being on call 24 hours. And so I was like, well, I would like to be removed from that. And so, you know, my flow knows that and I've plugged into, you know, into the things I do want. You know, I mean, I want something with creativity. I want something to be able to help first generation college students. I want something, you know, to be able to educate others, you know, curriculum development, things like that. And so I'm spreading myself through a lot of different, you know, programs to try to do that. And recently I just had an interview of a stay at home position in which it'd be like an academic, like an advisor for mental Health, so people can help themselves, you know, like online. And so I'm waiting to hear back from that job. I had a second interview, but if that doesn't go through and then I'm like, okay, well, what else is in line? I just keep throwing resumes out there.

Am I on the right path? I'm like, yeah, you know, what you actually do feel to me, what you're talking about feels very much in alignment with you. And like, I just was asking, are you trying a lot of different areas? And you are. It's like I can feel your energy of. You want to get excited, but you don't let yourself get excited. Honestly, you feel like you're on the right path to me. And I know, I feel like the big budge is just to speed it up. That's the very first thing I talked about with you. Unfortunately, the speed up thing is not there. You're going to have to weather through this interim energy. And what I suggest you do is you just use it very, very well. Practice these skills. This job that I'm getting, I love and adore. I find I make more of a difference. It is more fitting with my lifestyle, my hours, my income needs. It fits me better than anything I've ever done. Not only that, but this job scales, it grows. I don't know how yet, but I feel it growing. I feel like if I'm here, I could be here for years and it will keep growing to. To hold my growing inside of it. Right. The job itself will grow. It's not something I grow out of. That's important. And I want to see where it's going to go. Right now. Hold this feeling so close that it becomes who you are. It becomes an inevitability that with a job that fits this encounters you. It's like two magnets slamming together. That is the feeling. And every time you go into the other feeling, which is. I'm starting to get despondent. It's been six months. Doesn't anybody want me? What's wrong with me? Should I. Should I start dumbing down and lowering down? I never say lower down. I always say scale up. Don't go to a job that's less than you go to a job that's higher than you. Why not? You don't want that.

I applied to those, too. I applied to those too.

I would way rather have my flow go, oh, well, if you're just going to start being like, whatever, you know, you know, splattershot. Let's give her a job that's Too hard for her and see if she rides. You, you feel very good. I wish I could tell you to do something different to et cetera, et cetera. Yeah. But, you know, in this case, you're actually in alignment. And if you weren't, I would tell you. I would show off. And I know you would. I know you would. I know.

I know it's gonna bust because I'm like, oh, you know, you're doing good. Like, I guess I'll just paint and create things and, you know, create, explore.

Use the time to hone in even more. This is what I'm doing next. I've got amazing skills. They need to be in an area where they can be fully expressed, where I am not held down. Right. That's your main thing. You do not need to be held down anymore. That's your main thing. And you're not going to get a job that holds you down. So give time. Flow a little more Flow. Time to line it up.

Hi, it's Eileen. I'm in knee school actually.

Oh, hello Eileen. How are you?

I'm good. I've been doing all the flow dreaming for your career in a job search mode right now. And I've got a few jobs in the pipeline. I'm interviewing for that. Very excited about. They could all be good matches. I have a really big interview tomorrow and I have a complication at the same time. My sister's pregnant and due on Saturday, so she's freaking out. It's my job to cover her first child for when she goes into labor. How do I manage her anxiety from not falling into me because she's the one having the baby, but her anxiety starting to come into my job search. I'm concerned about my interviews if I'm going to be worried about her going into labor.

Yeah, that's such a good question. I've had this happen a lot. Maybe you've even heard me talk about it sometimes in MI school. It's really important that the people that I choose to help me run MI school are always addressing the drama in their life because if they don't it I start to feel it in me school. And I must be the strangest employer. I'm like you either get your relationship stuff figured out or we're going to have to talk because it's affecting the energy of the school. I have very strict requirements. Energy does leak over like that. And her energy, her anxiety could very easily start to sort of cling to you. Catch to you that virus coming on over and you catching that sense of anxiety. Fear. Anxiety is really just lack thinking right in disguise. It's all of those what ifs creeping up. It's a fear of being out of control. It's a fear of not having your power. Right? That's what a lot of anxiety is. I'm out of power. I will be helpless. Something will happen to me. I will hurt. And if you look at that as a transferable energy and you're looking for your jobs, if you are feeling something will happen to me, I will be hurt. I don't have power. You don't want to walk in like that. So your job is to use all your fabulous me school teachings. You've had quite a bit now, so you should be pretty damn good at this. And when you're with your sister, recognize her state. Right? Just give yourself a moment to feel it, to be aware of it. Oh, I recognize what her anxiety feels like. I feel the fears that are moving through her. They're not mine. They do not belong to me. They're not part of me. They have nothing to do with my life. I'm a very different human and I'm looking for work. And I'm creating something very different right now than what she's creating. She's got a baby that she's creating. I'm creating a new place or a new way for me to go and earn income and fulfill myself and do something in the world. So every time I'm going to an interview, I'm walking in with a sense of, I wonder if you're going to be it for me. I'm very curious. I'm wide open. Do we fit? Because here's what I can do and here's what I offer. And don't go in with the feeling of, I just need any job. Even if you don't fit, I'm going to make it work anyway. Right. That's how a lot of people go into jobs. And then when they don't get the job and they don't get the next job and they don't get the next job, they're like, is there something wrong with me? It'd be like, no. It would be as if you were approaching a man that way. I know you're not what I want. I absolutely don't like you, but I'm going to make it fit. Imagine if we did our relationships like that. So, you know, of course you would go and have like five or six or eight relationships. None of them would work. None of them would want you. You wouldn't work with them. The same would true of jobs. So don't be afraid to disqualify the job you're applying for. Right. That takes a really strong inner sense of self to be able to say, this is something I want and I could do something with, can I fit here? Because if I can, we are in perfect alignment and we're totally going to work out. And I'm not coming from a sense of desperation. I'm coming from a sense of total empowerment. Does that help you at all?

And the Mercury retrograde was very timely. That's also something I've been concerned about because timing wise, it's going to end up. All of these are going to finalize one way or another during a Mercury retrograde. And I'd have to potentially start during a Mercury retrograde.

Isn't that interesting?

Isn't that whatever will happen will happen and it's for the best?

Yeah, Isn't that interesting? So what you're looking at right there is you're becoming aware of these bigger cycles, right? When you have a lot of things start and a lot of things end at the same time, you have some larger cycles. Think of them like biorhythms running through your body. These are sort of energy biorhythms, flow biorhythms, and big things start, big things stop, they happen all at once, and then they don't happen at all for a long, long time. Bye. Let's see. How we doing on time? Oh, gosh. Oh, we're great on time. For once I have time to give us a rip roaring, fabulous flow drain. Okay. What you're going to hear just comes through. Like I said, it is spontaneous. It's on the fly. It's like dinner conversation. Wherever it goes, it goes. Flow dreaming, not meditation, not hypnosis, not creative visualization. It is a hybrid technique of lucid daydreaming or guided daydreaming of this awareness of flow, energy and structure, which I sort of painted for you a bit in the beginning, as well as your intense emotion. Right. Which is the way you talk or communicate with these energies. So you bring these three things together into one technique, and it springboards you into this someplace else, into flow itself, into a place where you're now very much in dialogue with the universe it creates inside of you. It creates your energy system, it creates your energy template, it recreates it. Remember, everything you do, think, say, feel is a little piece of information that just got added on to you. So if you're going in for 15 minutes and doing an extremely intense, wonderful, emotional reconditioning, it's like exercising your body at top speed, top form, except you're exercising your emotional self. You're exercising your energetic self. You're programming it. Be better. This is where I'm going. This is what we're making. This is what we're creating. That, in essence, is what flow dreaming is. I do recommend you go to the website, get my newsletter, or the place where it says, there's the free gift, the free gift basket, whatever. It's called Gift Bag. That's a tutorial and a flow dream you can begin working with explains it in way greater detail. So that being said, be ready to flow dream right now. It's not a meditation that's going to put you to sleep. It is not meant to be. It is meant to stir and stimulate your emotions, to move you into a powerful state and to open up these doors to true co creation. Nice deep breath and relaxing shoulders. Releasing your jaw. Releasing forehead. Lets go. And you find your abdomen has also released your legs. All of you is at ease. There's no tension, not with what we're doing, no tension at all. It's beautiful. It's wonderful. You're letting yourself go, letting yourself float and fly and flow. Giving yourself five minutes in the entire day to positively, pointedly co create the most important five minutes of your time. Not one other thing you do will make as great of an impact today. And you see yourself walking. You're walking down a hallway, a long hallway, and it's brightly lit. The walls look as if they're made of pearl. Mother of pearl perhaps. Beautiful colors and energies. They're not really solid. They too flow. They move. They're built of energy and light, of life. And you're realizing I'm in a place behind everything else where all the information of everything comes together. I'm in the behind the scenes place where the blueprints for everything exist. The blueprints that power the rest of the world. Like the Matrix. There's the inside, then there's the outside projection, the physical, the form. And here I am in the inside. And I can see in front of me this gleaming silvery ribbon of light. Gorgeous and beautiful. Maybe it's speckled with different colors. Mine perhaps is a silver color, a deep blue. Maybe it just has all different colors. Iridescent. It's a ribbon, a wide ribbon. And I can run my fingers along it. And they. And they feel this warm, humming, beautiful sense of aliveness. This is my future. This is my flow. And I can see this ribbon of light spreading out in all directions, getting more and more diffuse, like a rainbow losing definition at the edge. Right here in front of me. Though it's strong as can be, I'm strong as can be. I have a very powerful forward direction. It's as powerful as time itself, which as we all know, is pretty darn unbreakable. So is my forward direction, so is my future. So is my alignment, should I care to align to it. And that's when it strikes me. That's exactly what I want to do. I want to align to this energy. I want to align to this lifeblood, to this spiritual lifeblood that moves forward into my future because it feels right. Feels good. When I'm in this alignment, everything is just right. Everything is going where it needs to go. Everything is working out how it needs to work out. All of my wishes are heard, all of my dreams are felt. All of my feelings are acted on. As long as they're bringing me to my next level up, not my next level down. Never taking me into a place that goes backwards, that stops things, that creates resistance, that lowers me. No. My flow only aligns to the very best in me, the most beautiful in me. And it's there. It is in me, and I align to it. And that's when I realize nothing can knock me off this track. Nothing at all. Not a planet, not a temporary kink in my plans, not even miscommunications, not even things that look like big, big deals. Someday they won't look like a big deal to me. It's all in the perspective of where I am right now, how close and near that I am to them. Close and near. Well, they always look big. Anything close and near looks big. Every. Anything that's far away looks teensy and small. So is true in my time, in my flow, whatever I face right now that may have gotten off track, it's not a big deal. It can just as easily get back on track or something new and better can come in its place. And it does. It always does. Why wouldn't it. Why would I ever create something that wasn't in alignment? If I do, it's by pure accident because I wasn't paying attention. I wasn't thinking. Those are the things that are truly out of alignment. It's not mercury I have to be worried about. It's my own inattention. It's my own lowering. It's my own acceptance and saying, ugh, maybe I'll take a little less if I can't get what I want. And Flo says, all right, who knows? Tomorrow you were getting what you wanted, but you said, okay, you want to lower down? Okay, go ahead. There's plenty of muck, a muck out there. Everybody accepts that stuff. There's tons of it. If you want some of that, go ahead, take it. Seems like everybody makes it. There's plenty of that to pick from. And that's when you realize there is plenty of that kind of icky, yucky, unaligned, unthought, unperfectly felt energy. It's what most people make all the time. That's everywhere. If you want to align to that, that's as common as grass. But you don't. You don't align to that. You align to sunshine and beauty and love and riches. There's plenty of those, too. If you look up, and that is what you do. You look up even now as your flow dream ends and you return and open your eyes. Wasn't that just a delicious little excursion? I love that. All right.
