Flow Dreaming. It's a show where we talk about the power of your mind to change your world around you, to literally affect the fabric of your reality. It is the feeling that you bring forward. It is your emotional connection that really sets the tone for what is going to be happening to you and for you. And you know that feeling, when you touch it, it just spreads through you. Thank you for taking my call. I don't know why I feel like crying.
I think I just feel your love.
Of course.
And I think I'm gonna get some ANSWERS.

If you found this show on itunes or by downloading the Flow Dreaming podcast app, it would mean so much if you took a moment to review it. That is how other people will find this show and get the same great value out of it that I hope you're getting. So my huge thanks and sparkles and flow go to all of you who just take that few moments to go write a quick little message of telling other people. This is good. Go listen. Thanks. Now off we go to the show. Welcome to Flow Dreaming. Hello, everybody. I'm so happy to be with you as always, for an hour where we. Oh, we get to delve. Delve today into what easy feels like. What does easy look like and feel like, taste like, smell like in your life, kind of returning to the flow. In Flow Dreaming, many of you know that my work often centers around building up this incredible strength and resilience inside yourself, building the ability to expand, go into places that you haven't been before. Because ultimately, for me, that's what manifesting is all about. It's not just recreating over and over the same things you already know. It's about having the strength and the vision and the endurance to go into places you haven't been before and have experiences you haven't had before to really taste and drink in life. And so that's why a lot of Flow Dreaming episodes, especially in this program, this podcast, this radio show, center on how to use Flow Dreaming to develop certain aspects or parts of yourself. But we always have to remember, ultimately, flow and Flow Dreaming is about alignment. It's about ease. It's with it's about working with your natural self, your natural cycles. It's about getting more bang for your buck, right? Presuming you're putting a lot of buck in buck meaning you know, you know the saying, but you get more for it. You get the most out of it you possibly can. And this means eliminating resistance, right? Eliminating resistance in your life. Eliminating lack thinking, eliminating friction and no friction. What's that? It's flow. So that's our topic for today. A very smooth and easy and luscious hour awaits you as we go forward. So before we do, a few little notes. Yes, MI School, the MI School of Flow is getting ready to open its doors in the spring. And I have a wait list that is growing and growing and growing. If it's something that interests you, basically it's a year long program. You'll hear me talk about it more as we get closer to it. But everything you learn in this podcast, in this radio program is what we strongly adhere to over the course of a year. It's truly life changing. It's generational changing. Actually, I was reading an email this morning from a woman who said that her daughter, who's 8, is now starting to bring in and drink in the same information that she is learning because her behaviors are changing and her way of looking at life and her future is changing and it's actively impacting the way her daughter is growing up. And she is just thrilled beyond measure that she has done this because of that generational changing. So anyway, my point, the whole thing was go check out the website, go check out me school, get on the wait list because in the next month or two I will will be opening it to pre registration. And that's like the early bird discount type of stuff, in other words. Okay, that's, I think that's all I wanted to say. Yeah, there was a new Flow dream came out last month called Strong Healthy Boundaries and I did a show about that as well. Hopefully that was pretty eye opening for you guys. It's a very good playlist if you are looking to learn to be able to say no and stop being a people pleaser and stop getting run over in your relationships. So check that out too. Okay, so I invite you all to call today. By the way, phones are up and working. That means that you can call in anytime and I'm happy to answer your questions about Flow. Flow. Dreaming about your own life. I use my empathic intuition to look into you, into situations, into people that you love, asking them for more information, just kind of demonstrating to you all that you can do with this technique and philosophy and these teachings. So go, go grab that information by going to my website, going to the. The page where we talk about the podcast radio video, and you'll find it all there. So hopefully I could hear from a few of you and help you out as we get going. Today we're also going to be doing a flow dream, probably toward the middle of the podcast, sooner rather than later, where I bring you into that state of ease because I want to give you some time to. To really feel it and drift in it and actively create that today in your life. As a result of doing this, this hour, whenever we flow dream, we are actively changing ourselves. This process isn't something that just happens and it's done and there's no residual effect. It's like painting a picture. You know, once you actually put that paint onto paper, it stays there. It becomes part of you. It becomes part of your reality, of your universe. And as you actively do these techniques, they become part of what is now programming, what comes next in your life. So it's not something that just disappears. You actually change yourself through the process. So we're going to do that today as well. Okay, so what is all this stuff about easy energy, smooth, easy energy towards your goals? Right. How do you ditch the hard stuff? How do you learn to pick the best road?
So.
Let'S start by imagining those three roads. And I'm going to use three for the sake of simplicity. In reality, it's a thousand roads, right? How many different roads could you possibly take to reach your goals? Probably a thousand or. Or more. Who's to say we're going to use three? You're going to hear the hard road, the medium road, and the easy road. Every time you make a decision, you make a choice. You have a goal, you have a vision. Every time you walk toward something, whether it is something absurdly simple like heading out to the post office, or something much more complicated, such as I'm building my new business so that I can recover my retirement funds and create a comfortable future for myself. Right? Both of those are visions. Hard medium or easy? How do you want to make it so already you're scratching your head saying, do I have control over that? I mean, easy, obviously, but it's never been easy for me. How come? What are you going to tell me that's going to change that? First of all, having the awareness that there are these multiple roads is key, because when we don't remember that, we end up just finding ourselves on one of these roads, dealing with what is happening to us, wondering why it's happening to us. Because we were never consciously aware of choosing a road. In other words, we never pre paved a road. Now, pre paving is a term I use a lot in MI school and when I'm teaching flow, dreaming, pre paving, preacting. It's this understanding that we make choices every day based on the actions that we do. But we also make choices every day based on the way we are feeling, what we are assuming, what we are knowing will or won't happen. One of these, the action, that's the physical stuff that we're doing. The other, the assuming, the knowing that is the non physical stuff that we are doing every day through our feelings, thoughts, sense of what is possible and isn't. Both of those are active in equal parts in our lives. But most of us forget all about the non physical pre programming that occurs or that should be occurring. Well, it occurs no matter what. Every day you're manifesting, you're doing it already, right? So what you're learning is how to do it with more consciousness, how to do it with more awareness. It would be like if every day you woke up and went through a series of actions without ever really thinking about what you were going to do. And actually we kind of know how that feels. We've all had zombie days like that where we just go through the motions and it is kind of absurdly easy. And then we say, where did the day go? Well, we just zombied through it. Think about that non physically, you're zombie ing through most of your days without any real sense of direction. You're just kind of following whatever happens in front of you. And when that occurs, essentially you're really living sort of half a life because everybody else's lives are then intruding on yours, you know, by default. Yours isn't very strong or focused or aware. So everybody else's stuff comes in, clobbers your own direction and you end up dealing more with other people's stuff than even your own flow dreaming. We pull back from all that. We become the person who directs where we're going, what we want and how we're feeling. So when you are choosing a road, it starts with the pre action of this is going to be easy for me. How can I make this easy for me? What can happen to create more ease and flow and alignment, right? How often do you even think about that when you begin your steps toward a dream or even halfway through towards something that's going on? How often do you think that probably not very often. More often, you're probably reacting to things that have already occurred. How can I solve this? How can. What can I do about this? How can I get through this? How can I. A whole different set of feelings and skills are happening, right? You're dealing with things that have probably already occurred most of the time, and then you're making tenuous, nervous decisions about things that you will do next. You can see this is not the strongest place to be in as a manifestor, especially when you're always dealing with things that have already happened. And if you think about it, that's probably a large part of what's going on. So being able to create the easy road means you start with the premise, how can I make this easy? And when you ask yourself this, a lot of times funny feelings bubble up inside of us, like, God, am I allowed to do that? Or I'll feel kind of guilty if it's too easy or if it's too easy. I don't trust it. No, Anything easy I don't trust. There's got to be some pain involved to know that I really earned it and I work for it and it's going to stay around. Are any of these patterns kind of ringing your bells? Oh, I suddenly thought of that song Ring My Bell from, like, the seventies. Wish I had that to play right now. But we have often feelings of distrust around anything that appears too easy. This colors the fact that you don't often get what's easy. But why? I mean, why not? So let's talk about what that feeling of ease is and why it is your most natural state. Why it's nature's most natural state. So if I say I'm going to choose the easy road, I'm asking Flo right now, make this the easiest thing I've ever done. Help me make it easier next time I go through it. Keep me in such beautiful alignment that every time I drift off into the hard road by making a bad decision or doubting myself or being drawn off into someone else's drama, I am aware as quickly as possible. And I find myself backing up from that and getting right back on the easy road. Flow. If you think about it, in most, I don't know, global universal terms, flow is the rhythm of our universe. It's a dominant natural energy. It is the flow of the seasons cycling perpetually. The flow of our planet around the sun, the flow of air currents across the sky, the flow of the cycle of a plant being in the ground as a seed. Germinating growing, creating more seeds that then drop back into the ground and create new plants. All of these cycles we take for granted, yet they are premised on ease. Do you see the planet struggling to get around the sun? Do you see the air currents struggling in the sky? No. Do you see yourself struggling through your life? Yeah. Huh. I wonder why. Wonder why? Well, when does struggle occur? The struggle occurs when the bird who's riding that beautiful current decides, I don't want to flow with this anymore. Even though it's easy. I want to swim backwards or fly backwards against it. Okay. I want to go into a place of resistance around me because I don't want this current or I don't trust this current, or it's not taking me where I want to go. Instead of just shifting to another air current that's also easy. Turns around, starts battling it, fighting it, going into resistance. It's got to be this way. No, I've got to go exactly backwards. I've got to. Now, I'm using this as an example of us. In our lives, there's an easy path, but sometimes we find ourselves going against things that would have been our natural next step. But we didn't know that. We were scared of it. We felt guilty about it. We didn't trust it. We thought, no, we have to do it this way. And so said, well, that other way you're thinking of may be in conflict with what the ultimate journey for you is. It may be in conflict with somebody else's flow, and you're pushing them to do something or getting something from them that's not in harmony with yourself. Right now, you're in a state of resistance becomes much more difficult. It would be like the Earth deciding, I don't like how winter goes to spring. I want winter to go to autumn. Yeah, let's go backwards. Wow. That would wreck havoc. It would be very hard. It would destroy a lot. Think about your own life. There are areas right now where you're in resistance, you're not in flow, and they're very easy to turn around. Okay, so sometimes. Okay, so let's Wait, wait, wait. Let's go back to the. Again, the feeling of flow itself. Now, we've all experienced this. There are markers, indicators for this state. Mihaly Ciczenmihan. I probably mispronounced his last name. I practice it so much, yet I didn't write it down, so I'm sure I mispronounced it. He was one of the originators of the term flow in flow psychology, referring to A state that he became aware of, where you lose track of time because you're so engaged in something, you are almost temporarily removed from your external reality. You're so engrossed in what's going on where there is a natural flow or an opening up of revelations of insights, right? This is the tennis pro who is just knocking the ball, you know, one after another, just cleaning up that court, the whole game. This is the scientist who's been puzzling through these difficult theorems and it's just humming along at the back of his or her mind and then suddenly, whoosh, there it is. And the scientist is driving to the dry cleaners when finally it comes to be and it's eureka. I'm in flow. It's just occurring for me anyway. The psychologist noted this term as a kind of extraordinary state of being that we find ourselves in. It can also happen during non extraordinary times. When I'm sewing or gardening, I know little domestic me. I find myself often in a flow state. Hours go by. We find it when we are doing any kind of a sport or hobby. You know, you guys who sit around and tinker in your garage at your workbench, you probably lose hours. Us women who love to scrapbook, we're doing the same thing. It's a state of being where you almost exist in two worlds. A physical world and some sort of streamlined world where everything is just working frictionless for you. So imagine now that this state of being has a corollary. It has a parallel in our natural world or universe. Like I just said, the universe is not resisting itself. Likewise, you are a piece of this nature. You at heart are not meant to resist yourself either. You are also meant to be in this place of natural harmony. Now, that said, sometimes we do encounter disruption and destruction. This is part of Flow 2, like a forest fire that clears the trees and primes the seeds that need to be blackened and dropped into the ground to start a new generation of little trees Winter, which primes the earth to come back alive, drenched from all of that snow and water, an exploding volcano or even death itself part of the cycle, right? This is part of flow. It is part of alignment. We move through all of these cycles whether or not we are choosing to. So the question becomes, how do you want to move through yours? Do you want to move through them all with ease or by fighting? So in flow dreaming, we learn how to move through without friction. We learn to go big without friction. We learn to achieve without friction, right? Not having that friction means that we open up loads of energy that was formerly tied up in that resistance in the hard stuff. In fact, I was teaching mi school just this morning before I did this show. And the last student shared a win, which was she had just learned how to move through resistance quickly and easily. And she was ecstatic. She says, anything now that comes to me, I can handle. And I said, beautiful. You know, that was worth its weight in gold. For your entire life. Now you have freed up so much energy that you can put into more alignment, more flow. I said, this is where we speed up. This is where we accelerate. Everybody wants those moments where you accelerate in life where you break through. You have an aha moment, you burst through a ceiling. This is how you start doing it. Like one of the fundamental ways. So we're going to go to a break soon, but before we do this, I want to leave you with this idea, right? One man digs through rock to reach his goal. He's got his little silver shovel. It's hard work. Another man digs through sand to reach his goal or his treasure. He's also working hard. Both men are busting out a sweat. But one man is going to reach his goal a lot easier. Right? Who gets his treasure first? The man who's in ease or the man who's digging through friction? Hard work. Okay. Ease has nothing to do with laziness. Nothing. It simply refers to alignment. If you're in it or you aren't Flow. If you're in it or you aren't. This is life changing. It's a game changing point of view. Everything in your life immediately becomes so much easier. Okay, we're gonna go to a quick break. When we get back, we're gonna do a flow dream because I want you to experience this. Then I'm gonna go to some of your calls, which I see are already up, so stay with me. We'll be back right after this. Hey, it's summer again, and yes, we're on break, but I wanted to share some important stuff with you about the hugely amazing and gorgeous ME School of Flow. Right now, it's either enrolling or it's accepting names onto the wait list. This means that I'm accepting students that I work with personally over the year ahead. And I teach you to do what I do. How to think, how I think, how to work with flow manifest, create and use the universe the way it's meant to be used. You're going to create amazing things using flow. You'll also open and expand your empathic intuition. After doing this for a number of years. I can tell you MI schoolers make strides and hit goals way beyond what they think they're going to be able to do going in over and over. You don't have to be a superstar going in because that's what we're going to turn you into once you get there. If you're ready to go big, if you know you need to deepen your spiritual practice and your personal growth, then this is where you need to be. Your life, after all, only grows as big as you do. So ME School is online. That means you'll connect with me from all over the world. What to do next? Click or swipe over to flowdreaming.com. you'll see an area that talks about me school during enrollment. You can set up a free 20 minute call with me. And during waitlist times, I invite you to send me a note telling me about your interest. Okay, I look forward to hearing from you and even more to getting to know you as one of my personal students in ME school. Now let's get back to the episode. Welcome back to Flow Dreaming. All right, so we're about to go through a process here. It's called Flow Dreaming. If you're new to the program, the best thing to do. I have actually just. I forgot I should have said this in the beginning. I've come up with a pretty cool introductory package and I'm testing it right now by giving it away for free. Basically, I'm teaching you how to flow dream. It's something I probably could charge, I think I said about a hundred bucks for a course on how to do the process, which includes several audios, a quick start guide, a little booklet that gives you instructions on how to get going on this. First thing to know is it is not manifest. Excuse me? It's not meditation, it's not hypnosis, it's not creative visualization. And if you want to plug it into one of those things that you know of, you will unfortunately probably be doing it wrong. It is a synthesis of different things, including daydreaming, awareness of flow energy, as well as the emotional connection to flow. So what I want you to do is, even if you haven't had your introduction to it yet, just go with me anyway, all right? Concentrate and focus on feeling the emotion that I want to evoke in you. This is why I'm not going to be all floaty and slow and meditational. It's going to be a little bit more vigorous and directed. I want you to feel, really feel the sense of ease Feel what it's like to let go and trust and be in this place of alignment. Okay, so we start with closing our eyes. I like to take some deep breaths all the way down into my abdomen. Starts a little bit like meditation because you want to let go of the tension in your body. You want to let your body just drop, release. Your abdomen releases, your shoulders drop and your chest expands and you continue to breathe. Now your neck rolls around on your shoulders and you let go of all your tension there between your eyes, your forehead, it releases. Now you feel pretty good. And you think to yourself, just taking 10 minutes. Even if I've been listening to this whole show, multitasking, doing other things, right now, it's just 10 minutes. 10 minutes I might spend taking a quick walk or having a snack. This is a snack for my mind, my heart, my soul. Ten minutes of acceleration in my life. Ten minutes to bring myself back on the smooth, easy, gliding path as if I were on a monorail. And we laugh to ourselves thinking, oh, it's like Disneyland, that monorail. Truly, there's a track. And that track is absolutely and utterly perfect for ourself. And the track is not predefined, it's not predestined. This track is always growing in front of us like a sidewalk unrolling as we walk along it. But we have perfect trust in the track. We have perfect trust in the rail. And this track is not something thin and silver. It's something broad and beautiful. It's something that stretches from horizon to horizon, all sides of us, all of us, our whole being. We can't fall off this track. We can never be disconnected from it. We can never be truly away from it. Even on days or years in our lives when we feel like we may have lost sight of was always there under our feet. Even though we couldn't see it or feel it. This flow, this pulse, this energy, it never goes away. It's you. It's your deepest self, your greatest self, your expanded self, your soul self. All you've ever been collected, ancient you, large, wise. And then there's present you with your present somewhat restricted reality or restricted viewpoint. You say, yeah, yeah. It's funny. In this life right here now, there's only a certain set of things I was given to be able to see and know the world around me. The people, the relationships, the intuition that I'm able to access my dreams, my feelings. But I still sense there's something larger and bigger. It's there. I know it. I truly know it. And then you look ahead of you and you see that this broad and beautiful path just continues, continues forward into any kind of scenery you want. Into a broad and dry, warm, cinnamon smoke smelling desert, into a green and beautiful jungle or forest. Into a broad, empty plane of starlight. And perhaps the scene changes, perhaps the colors change. Your flow is just trying on clothes for you. Taking on images that make you feel good, that make you want to continue to walk into it, to stay aligned with it. And you notice it's effortless to be here. Utterly effortless. You just are here. It's the most natural place you could ever be inside yourself, ever. V. Most natural place ever. Ever. And you trust this place. It's right. And maybe you can feel that it was constructed by God or by source or by universal consciousness. Maybe you feel it was constructed by that beautiful rhythm that is life and the universe and evolution itself. You're just a piece of this, a beautiful, evolving piece. But you are. And you recognize anything that I choose to do next in my life is just a beautiful adventure that I am on, that I've chosen, that I'm embarking into. And anytime I encounter friction in it, I encounter resistance there for me to learn and grow from. Because that's what I want to do. That's what I've been doing as a body, as a physical person, as a self. When I was 5, I was learning and growing. When I was 10, I was still learning and growing. My body was growing and physically changing. My brain was growing and changing. Now that I'm 20 or 30 or 50 or 70, I'm still learning and growing. That is my natural state. Something has set me up on this path, on this course of continuous growth and evolution. Physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically, spiritually. And yes, there is an easy way. Everything is easy in my life. I can choose to have everything be easy. Everything is easy in my life. If I want to learn or grow into the next place, the next step, it's going to be very easy. And even as I say that, as I feel it, I feel that knowing. It's like an ease that seeps out of me, soft and silky, like sliding a wet bubbly sponge across a smooth plate of glass. So easy, just wishing across. And then I wonder, how did that feel? Do I feel like I'm cheating if I ask for that? Do I feel like I'm not really learning if I ask for that? I wonder why? Why can't I have it be easy? Why can't I have things set up for my win? It's all I'M really asking, set it up for my win. Let's set this up for a win. Because why would I ask myself, my future, my flow, my source? Why would I say, set me up for a loss? How many times do I want or need to do that, to have that experience? Isn't there some point when I'd want to move through that and say, I've conquered that I don't always have to learn through loss anymore. I've done that one and I check in, have I done that one enough now? Do I want to play with, experiment with learning through wins, learning through ease, growing through growth and having it work out, being set up for the win. Don't I want to know what that's like? Because I can feel inside me. Yeah, I'm going to be nudged into doing different things, into having to feel different ways when I'm constantly being nudged for the winter. And some of those things are going to require me to really give of myself and do things that I haven't done before. And those things may be hard work, but if I check in, I can feel the ease built into them. I can feel the rightness, I can feel the glow. I can feel the flow built in. All of the yeses. And that's what I stay in, that is what I linger in. All those yeses. And with that, I find myself returning from flow, still floating in these good feelings, these good emotions that have come to me as I open my eyes and return from my flow dream. Hmm. I'm hoping that you discovered that that felt a little unusual. Not quite meditation. Maybe you saw things and had visuals and maybe you didn't. Maybe you did just feel things. Maybe you felt that ease. Maybe you felt that opening up. Maybe you felt it when I said, I'm being set up for the win. So that's the kind of stuff we unpack as we learn to flow better and better. Okay, think on that. When we get back. I have some of your calls and we'll do some more demonstrations of how this works, how it applies to your life. So stay with me for more flow Dreaming. Is it the Beth that I know you who I'm keeping your last name off, but you've been updating me frequently. You actually just responded to my blog this morning. I think you actually.
I have some good News for you, I suppose. Months ago, I am enrolling to take classes online.
Okay.
And I'm gonna go for my BA in, like, doing counseling and stuff. Because, remember, I was doing the outreach stuff.
Yes.
So I'm gonna start in January, and it's gonna take about three years to do that. So I'm excited about that. So thank you for pointing me that way.
You're so welcome. Three short years. All right, let's look at it that way. These are the fastest, most brilliant years of your life.
Oh, yes. I can't wait. I am so excited.
We're pre programming that. Yeah. Tell me why you're calling, though. I can't help it. Make them easy. Make them easy.
If you could maybe go in and read my mom's flow and just. Because I know she's been worried about money and just let her know through me and that everything's going to be okay.
Okay. What is your mom's name? First name is Barb. Barb.
Yeah.
All right. And where does your mom. Just give me the state she lives in so I can have a better. Oh, she's here with you?
Yeah.
Okay. All right. So here we are, Barb. So what I'm doing, when I go into her, it's. It's. I was describing this process to my daughter. She's 12. A couple nights ago, I. It's like skipping stones. Right. So I feel you, and then I feel you feeling her, and that's how I find her.
Okay.
So here we are with Barb, and I'm feeling what her personality is like, what her essence is like. Your mom, unfortunately, you probably know this already, but she spends a lot of time in worry. There's a lot of things she worries about. And it's not just money. Everything is a source of worry. Worry becomes her way of addressing situations. If she's worrying about it, she feels like she is doing something about it. Not quite accurate, Barb. I want to kind of subtly correct her in that it's difficult because she isn't really asking for that. She doesn't want to be corrected. Yeah. Sorry. Especially from some whippersnapper like me. But she feels like this is how I take care of things. I worry about them. If I'm giving my worry energy to them, it means that I'm handling it. Okay. So she's looking at her money. I feel like she's taken. She feels like she's taken a real hit lately, or there's something that's really drawn down her funds, or it's. She suddenly realized that there's a lot less. Has that happened for her?
Probably not working. And my brother is also living with us, and he's been sick a couple days, so he hasn't been working. So there hasn't been any money coming in.
Yeah. Okay.
Because it feels like reinforce her that it's going to be okay.
Yeah. This is the big hit. Like, it's. It was a feeling like bloomp. Like a big piece dropped out, her realizing, whoa, you know, these reserves are down. I am. I'm suddenly at a loss. All right, Barb. So what I want to feel for her. In keeping with our show today, there are plenty of opportunities for income to come in. Things straightening out ease, opening up for you and your son who lives with you. He will move through whatever he's going through. He will come out the other side. He will find wonderful employment that grows him, that puts him on his right and purposeful path. And you too will see your income start to increase. Whether it's your Social Security or other forms. You're going to feel a lot more settled, a lot more at ease. It's okay. You will be okay. You will be okay. Okay. So letting her go.
Okay. How was she responding to that?
Yeah.
Because she's kind of stubborn.
Yeah, I know. So that's. I was going to debrief you right now. I just. She liked me more by the end than in the beginning when I showed up. I was about to tell you it's a little difficult to work with her because like I said, she's not the one asking. I would have told her, here are things you need to do, actions and so forth. But her response is, I'm going to do what I want to do. So the most that I could give her was a sense of reassurance. She liked that feeling. But as far as giving her the tools to actually achieve that reassurance, that's where, unfortunately, you can't make a horse drink water or something like that. So I brought her to the water, but I cannot make her drink.
Make her drink. Yeah, that's.
Yeah.
You know, I've been trying to reassure her, and I'm. I'm still. I'm out looking every day and still doing what you told me to do. So I know something's going to come through real soon. It's just. She's just so frustrated right now, and I think that's what's interfering with my flow.
Yeah. Because we did. We pick up on the people that we are surrounded by, especially the people we love. Right. Because we Take tons of their energy into our energy every day. So you got to be careful who you hang out with. Even if it's Mom.
I'm trying to stay away. I'm trying to, like, stay away. I know that sounds cruel, but.
No, it's not. I've had this discussion many times. Sometimes you need to stay away when you're working on yourself. Right? I call it a little sabbatical. You're taking a little sabbatical with your family so you can do some growth and so that you can come back with more strength instead of having to hold them while you're growing. Right. It takes longer that way. Okay.
Okay.
Well, thank you so much, Summer. I love you and I appreciate everything you've helped me achieve so far. So keep up the great job. And you still look beautiful in that picture.
Oh. All right. Thanks, Beth.
Talk to you later. Okay, bye. Bye.
Yeah, so the blog post, it's actually my email, my newsletter that I send out if you want to, like, kind of catch up on my ongoing story, my ongoing personal dramas in my life, go to my website and get on my newsletter. And pretty much, if you get the new Art of Flow Dreaming, the free tutorial that I'm giving out right now that will subscribe you to my newsletter. And I sent one out this morning about how I'm currently extremely bald. I am. In case you just are getting caught up. I was diagnosed with breast cancer this summer, and I've since had a mastectomy and I'm going through chemo, assuredly, also pursuing an equally comprehensive alternative approach to treating my cancer, having to do with acupuncture and qigong and supplementation, a lot of emotional clearing, et cetera. But I'm also giving the traditional medicine a whack at this. So the result is that I've been going through a lot of stuff and putting it on my blog. And right now I decided to put up a picture of me the way I look right now, you know, three months into chemo, and it was difficult to do. And my husband actually, it's a bald picture of me, but my husband decided I looked better with a mohawk on, so he put a nice blue mohawk on me. So it's. It's kind of funny, but it's also pretty vulnerable because, you know, once something is on the Internet, it's forever on the Internet. There are no take backs on the Internet. So I'm very aware that 20 years from now, someone's going to haul this out or God forbid, I got very famous and. And they Splattered this on a newspaper or something, I'd be like, oh my God, why did I do that? But I am, because part of my past is continuously getting over myself and this is giving me a great opportunity. All right, who else can we look at right now? Troopty, Troopty. Hey honey, I know who you are. You're one of my mi schoolers.
Yeah, I feel silly asking questions, but here it is.
Hey, no problem. See, I actually appreciate it when you ask questions on my podcast because, you know, you're a little stronger and a lot of people are afraid still to call in. And everybody learns through our questions. You know, everybody's listening and applying it to their own life. So what's going down?
This is like a family situation. I've been working with the pre paving for last two weeks. Like my morning starts with slow dreaming. So it's like I programmed the day to go like easy, but it's about my mother in law. I'll try to be as short as I can, but it's like she has four kids. My husband is number second and somehow she keeps going back for between us and the older brother. And at this point we sort of told the younger two that they need to take some responsibility for her, but they always have some sort of excuse. And I don't like conflicts like confrontations. I don't do well physically, emotionally, I don't know, I cannot do it. And so I've been pre paving slow dreaming that everything is going to work out, the outcome is going to be good, everybody is going to be understanding about the situation, which I think it's unfair that the other two don't get to do anything for her or they don't get to live with her or anything. And do you see, have I programmed.
It enough or yeah, so here you.
Know where to start or how to start talking to them like directly.
So here, here is your issue with ease, right? You've got, not just you, you've got the four kids, you've got your mother, there's six of you at least, plus all the spouses. In this situation, you are one of what, 12 or however many people are ultimately involved in this. And you're looking at patterns that have been established over years and you are changing your pattern, but they're not all necessarily changing their pattern. So as you change your pattern, you are hoping, wishing, wanting, expecting that they will also make adjustments themselves that you know, has them sort of increase their level of responsibility, step into the void that you are now creating. And you don't have control over that. And you shouldn't have control over that. That would be frightening to be able to control so many other people's lives, even though we kind of want to do so sometimes. So the ease that you're looking for really comes home to you and mostly you and your husband, which is we do a lot for my mother in law, but there may be a time when we get to step out from it flow. If you can create and help us create that time where we can step out from some of this responsibility. This is how I would feel best if you could offer us this. And I want to be able to step out without feeling guilt, without feeling that, you know, everyone, including my husband, is angry. No sense of selfishness, more a sense of this is a shared experience. Other people now have the opportunity to step in and share. My mother in law has the opportunity to now start asking the other two kids, help me, which she never had that opportunity to do before because she had created this easy space where she knew who was always going to be helping her. Right. So you're not actually taking anything away from anyone else, but you're giving them opportunities to expand. Wouldn't it be beautiful if she had four kids equally helping her? Wouldn't that be considered a true expansion for her in her life? But we don't get. She doesn't get that opportunity because everybody has already slipped into this old pattern. Two help and two don't. Okay, so it's this bigger picture. It's you saying, I'm going to do those things that increase my feeling of ease. I will learn to say no. Right? Strong, healthy boundaries. I will learn to say no. And my husband will adjust. If I have anyone to work anything out with, it's going to be him. And I'll explain to him why I feel we should say no and why we need to give other people these opportunities. And then we'll go from there. Meanwhile, you should be pumping your flow with my life is getting easier. How can I make this easier next time? Right? That's like a mantra question for you. How can I make this easier next time? Okay.
Yep. Okay.
That'll change a lot just right off the bat. All right, my dear, thank you so much. You're welcome. I'll talk with you in a few weeks. Take care, Gypsy. Bye now. Okay, looks like, oh, we've only got a couple minutes and I don't think we can fit another call in. It would be like speed call, speed dial call. Here's your answer. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So here's what I want to close with instead. Committing to ease is going to bring up some interesting stuff inside of you. It's what I touched on earlier, but I just want to prepare you because it's one of those things where, oh, one of my ME schoolers gave me a great example. I'm just going to share her. An anonymous. She was buying something at a store and she ended up not having enough change. She needed 73 more cents. And so she said, I guess I don't want to put, you know, she didn't want to put it on her credit card. It was like a $73. And so I guess I just won't get it. And the woman who had just purchased before her turned around, slapped a dollar down on the counter and go, oh, get it, honey? And she felt suddenly very awkward, very like, wow, a stranger would do that for me. Wow, Somebody would just, you know, it threw her. That was her emotional response. Shock. A little bit of disbelief. Are you sure? A little bit of, oh my God, you're so kind. In other words, her reaction wasn't, thank you, that's so wonderful. I'm always deserving. I always have things like that happen for me. Instead, a whole different set of emotions came up for her to receive 73 cents. And then she thought, gosh, you know, one of my manifesting goals has been to receive $10,000. And she thought, if I respond to receiving 73 cents like that, no wonder that $10,000 is not here. I'm still scaling up to that. This is the same thought process I want you to go through when you start feeling, what if I really thought everything could be easy in my life? Am I going to head trip that I'm not learning enough? Am I going to head trip that I'm cheating? Am I going to head trip that people who have things easy for them don't learn and they're somehow bad people? What's going on there? Because that is your greatest barrier to actually being in flow all the time, right? That's your greatest barrier, preventing you from staying in alignment. There are other barriers too, having to do with self trust, letting go, releasing control. But this one is a biggie. So practice being in ease, asking for ease, being in flow. Give yourself a test, do three days of it. Three days. Everything is easy in my life. What happens if this situation suddenly became incredibly easy? I mean, like, look at everything. Look at, look at stuff that's going on at work projects. What if now it was totally easy instead of what you expect it to be? Or what it already is. How would that change things? Can you start programming that in so it actually could start being easy? All right, y' all have your homework, so get to it. I will see you all next time. We air this show every single week, same time, same place. So I will see you then. My love goes to all of you and happy flow dreaming. Well, look at that. Show's over. But before you go, did you know that my mom has a podcast, too? Her show airs live right after mine. It comes up next. We tape our live shows back to back. Her show is called the Dear Venus show. So stay listening and you can call in or look it up live on itunes if you're listening via podcast. Her show is really good. It's really funny. And she reads people's minds and futures and talks to dead people for real. It's called the Dear Venus show on itunes. The.
