It's a show where we talk about the power of your mind to change your world around you, to literally affect the fabric of your reality. We talk about this feeling of hope.

Now off we go to the show.
And welcome to Flow Dreaming. Hello, everybody. Happy New Year. It's my first show of 2016. I probably shouldn't say that, right? I'm already dating myself in the. In the archives. I am so happy to be back with you. In case you don't know me, I'm Summer McStravik. Our program is Flow Dreaming, and it's now going into its 11th year. In fact, I've been recently revamping the Flow Dreaming website, and part of that has meant redoing the pages where I, you know, obviously have information about the show, the podcast, and I had to do a count, and I realized we're up past 500 episodes. I feel like I should have a trophy on my desk or something. Maybe I'll go get myself one. Have one made for me. 500. Wow. 500 hours. All, of course, about different topics that relate to this concept that we can manifest and we can create. We can write to the energy, we can read from the energy. We can be intuitively connected. We can be in a state of flow, a state of ease in our life where we can communicate with. I don't want to say, you know, our greater selves, it's communicating with the universe. It's communicating with all of life. Recognizing that, you know, we're all made of the same molecules, all, everything, all of us. And this idea that we're isolated little bits and we're just randomly getting what we get, Flow Dreaming really turns that on its head. And all the ways that we act and behave in life that are based on that, based on the idea that we're not random little bits, but that we are the CEOs of our life. I was just teaching actually a ME school class right before I taped this, and that was my theme. We are the CEOs of our lives, and that means we do the directing. Yet we have plenty of people and energy and life. Everything is on our side to help us. So part of my mission is to help eradicate all the lack thinking. That's what I call it, the lack cycle. The lack thinking that's in our lives because it's gotten there typically over time, just kind of like accumulating garbage in your backyard. If you don't throw it out and just throw it behind your shoulder, it's going to pile up. And that lack thinking is what generally leads us to this place where we start to get things we don't want. And then we start to think it's random. And really the whole system erodes in our mind. So we have to pull ourselves back in, get back into our alignment, start to recognize it and realize, yes, flow will put me where I need to be when I need to be there. And yes, I can help direct this and guide this and get in sync with this. And that's what I'm here for, to see my life bloom. So Flow Dreaming is a method for manifesting. It's also a method for immense personal power, ongoing life growth. It's based on your emotional self, which is so yummy and delicious. And that's what you're going to learn. So welcome, welcome to the club. Welcome to Flow Dreaming, right? Oh, before we go any further, some other exciting news. I sent out a newsletter about a week ago announcing that MI school is now open and enrolling. And I recognize of course, if you're listening to this in the archives, may not be, because who knows when. I originally recorded this according to when you're listening to it, but if you're listening live, if you're listening in January 2016, me schools enrolling. And this only happens once a year, maybe twice a year, but once a year. It is a beautiful program. For self growth and development. We go deep into Flow Dreaming. I teach, I give over, give to my classes, into my students. And I'm starting to welcome as many new students as would like to come. Well, at least until I have to close registration, so there's that. Anyway, just go to my website, flow dreaming.com and I've been talking actually this week with dozens of potential new students. And yes, sometimes my Flow Dreaming coaches will get on the phone and talk to you and sometimes you get to talk right to me and I will talk with you and help you figure out if it's the right fit. So if that interests you and sounds good, just go ahead and go to my website, flow dreaming.com. okay, you know what we're talking about today. Team, team, team, team, team is on my mind as I flow into 2016. The concept of team, I guess first started really coming to my awareness maybe three, four years ago. I know I'm a late bloomer despite the fact that I have guided teams, I have built teams, I have created teams, and that we are all involved in teams our entire life. When you consciously become aware of the purpose and role of teams, everything shifts and changes. Because as manifestors, as people who create, we have to be aware all the time not only of what we're creating, but who's creating it with us. Who are we creating with perhaps is even the more important question. And some of you have heard me talk about default mode before. Default mode is where we kind of settle, right? It's the lowest possible point. We don't really sink below it and we can get above it, but if we, you know, take our eyes off the wheel, we'll kind of float back down like a feather. It's like that, that level of comfort of energy where we just kind of default down to and we all kind of have a feeling of where that's been in our life. Now, if you're on a path of growth, your default level is continually increasing, right? So it's not a bad thing. It can be bad if it's just what you've arrived at after years of sort of, you know, unthinking, just going with, you know, unawareness. But if you've been growing and thinking and thoughtful and Flow dreaming, then your default mode might be pretty high. I'm going to point out today what some of these teams are that I know are in my life and see if you can figure them out who they are in your life. And to go back a second to what I was saying three, four years ago, this team idea became very important to me because I was looking around and saying, okay, who have I defaulted to over the years? You know, who am I surrounding myself with? Why? Why am I surrounding myself? And what's more, who am I not surrounding myself with that I should be surrounding myself with? And if I'm not, how come what's going on inside of me that I'm not going to embrace that? And these questions become important when in particular, you know, you want to be successful. It was around maybe four, five, six years ago that I began to really devote myself to flow dreaming as my lifelong career. I had just left Hay House and Hay House Radio after about a decade there, and I realized I need to turn all of this business building and podcasting and publishing that I've learned and certainly mentoring and coaching, everything that I had been doing all those years, I need to turn it towards something of my own. And I looked around and I realized I have no team for this. I have no team for this because over the years, I had accumulated teams, but never for that particular purpose. So I had to go about consciously doing it. And I'll admit, you know, it took me a couple of years. So here's what I did as I was looking and realizing and, I don't know, kind of waking up. I started kind of as a solo player. That's what I call solo player. I still call myself that sometimes, kind of as a joke, because you'll recognize me if you're one too, which is or were one or I was one, something along those lines, a solo player. You know, we kind of have built up these beliefs, right? And they've worked for us really, really well because often we've been successful. We have navigated our way out of tons of crap in life, or we've built things that have gone very well. But there's a downside as well go into. In a second, solo players tend to think like, I'm the only person I can really rely on. I can try to rely on other people, but, you know, they're probably going to disappoint me in one way or another, right? It becomes an embedded belief. Now, remember, whenever I talk about things that are embedded like this, this is what your flow is hearing from you. And those of you who've listened to my series on the lack cycle, you will hear, this is a blatant statement of lack of right? I can't rely on anyone but me that screams lack. But if you use your advantage, it means that you get a lot done because you're not asking other people. You're not depending on them. It's all on you. So you tend to do more. Overachievers. Are you listening? How about this other feeling state? I'll do it better than anybody else. I'll do it, but I always do it better than anybody else. Right? Can you hear the lack embedded in that? Which is I don't trust anybody to do it better than me. Even people who are professionals, it's better if I do it than trust them to do it because they probably won't show up and deliver anyway. Lack, lack, lack. But this is what a solo player, a die hard solo player. This is their mindset. How about I care more than anybody else. I care more than anybody else. That's why it's fallen onto my shoulders. That's why I'm the person in the family who has to drive dad to the hog hospital every day. That's why. Because I care more. Solo player. That's not fair of you. You're not letting other people in. You're not giving them the space to step in. I had a conversation recently with someone, you know, we were talking about what happens. Well, I was. She was asking me, you know, since I got cancer last year I was diagnosed, you know, how's my husband done? Has he stepped up? Has he stepped in? And I said, you know, he really has. He really has. And I said, I didn't have a choice in the matter. That was a big part of it. She says, yeah, I know. I think it'd be really hard because in my household, I kind of run everything. And I don't know if my husband could do it, I think things would fall apart. And I said, I felt the same way, but when you have to, when you have no other choice. I said, you know what happened? I created a vacuum. It created a power vacuum. All these years, I had been filling it with my solo player mentality. As soon as I stepped out, I gave him the room to grow. I gave him the room to grow. Okay? So think. Think about that. Maybe you don't care more. Maybe you're just not willing to create that vacuum to allow other people, people to step and show their care. Here's another one that solo players tend to think. Figure it all out on my own. Oh, God. Okay, this one. Could you hear that in my voice? Oh, this one helps. It does help, right? You know, if. If you were in college and you were studying out late, late at night and, you know, you had to figure it out on your own and you figured it out on your own. And we do this every day in all different ways. What's going on in my health, you know, why does my side hurt? Or what's wrong with my toes? I'll figure it out on my own. However, there's a downside, and that's also something I experienced. First couple of years, for instance, when I was starting to really grow flow dreaming, I said, I will figure it out on my own. I spent two years glued to the computer screen, taking every free course I could find, listening to every free webinar I could find, and trying to figure it out on my own. Eventually I realized that was like trying to learn a foreign language language by going to the library and randomly pulling books off the language shelf. I would probably learn, but it was probably going to take me a long time because no one was watching me, guiding me, telling me, do this, don't do that. I did this. You don't want to do it. I did that. You want to do that. And I'm going to call you out if I notice that you're not progressing or doing what you need to do when you need to do it. So you can kind of hear, I'm alluding to having a mentor, having a coach, having a support system. For me, it was a defining difference, truly, in what took me player space and into, oh my God, this is what it feels like to have a team. The biggest benefit I discovered was that things that would have taken me five years to do took me two years to do. If it would have taken me two years, it was now taking me six months. And I guess I felt like I don't have time to screw around. And so if I can do that, I will. So ever since then, whenever I say I'll figure it out on my own, I notice why. Why am I saying that? Why am I doing that? Why don't I rely on my team for that? And there's always something deeper. And we'll go into that in a second. Here are a few other things I wanted to bring up, though, about solo players and why you might want to consider embracing your team. Right, because that's what this program is about. The episode today, how your flow can help you to nourish and develop a team. Right, so you can flourish with them. I want to give you the other half that you may be missing on your own single life. Solo players often feel like having other people that they have to talk to or work with or be accountable to means that they have to compromise themselves somehow. And again, this is not always true, right? That's a lack statement. All of these have been lax statements. If I have to cross myself, I'm coming from a place of thinking. Every time I've had to compromise myself for my boyfriend, I've had to make compromises, not do things because of my wife. I've had to not make the choice I wanted because my parents said it would be bad. This all accumulates into a place where you start anticipating lack. If I have to work with others, I'm going to lose something. This is the opposite of what you want your life to give you. You know, when you're manifesting what you're doing, you're asking the world to come in and be your team, right? Fundamental. You're asking the world to come in and be your team. So if you're not good with your team, if you think you have to compromise yourself with your team, if you think you care more than your team, that you'll do it better than your team, what you're always saying to your flow is in every particular way, I don't really need you, I don't really trust you. I'm not let you going to bypass you. You see how this can affect what you get in your life. Let's keep going. Here's another thought that I run into, especially with other business people. Well, people with really corporate careers, all careers. Everyone who could help me, they're too busy. And anyone who could help me won't think I'm at their level, right? And at their level is in like quote marks. Because everybody has this concept of the level they're at, the level these other people are at and what they're willing and not willing to do. Again, these are things that I've experienced. You know, I have definitely been this way and will catch myself being this way sometimes. If you think everyone else is too busy or they're too beyond you, above you, they wouldn't want to deal with you, etc. Etc. This is what forces you to go solo. Now I want you to pay attention Again, these are both lax statements. Both lax statements. Isn't this funny? I mean, it's sad funny, right? But you see, it's good funny when you are thinking that other people won't be interested. It's true, sometimes they won't be. Sometimes your schedule and their schedules won't fit their agenda. Your agenda won't fit. And sometimes they will. But if you have so taken in that energy, that feeling, that assumption that every day you go forward thinking, oh, they're not Going to do anything for me. They won't want. They want. Da da da da da. What are you manifesting? What are you creating? What are you constantly pushing out energetically and emotionally into the world? No one's going to help me. They don't want to help me. Why would they help me? I'm not good enough to be helped. I'm not at their level yet. I'm not this. I'm not that. Right? Undo that. Undo it. We'll get to that. Next, how to build your team. How about another one? I've had bad experiences with other people. Every time I try, it doesn't work out. Failure, right? This is a failure statement. Again, a lack statement. These statements push you into being a solo player. It keeps you there boxed in because you've built your world around it. You've built your reality around the set of fears. Lack statements. This way of thinking. And if you've had any sort of payoff at all from it, like parents, you know this. You let your kid get away with something one time and then you become a slot machine. They know if they keep trying, they're going to get it every so often. If it takes 15 pulls to say, you know, get a yes out of you, they'll pull 15 times. You know, same thing is here. If you've had any success by accepting and deepening any of these solo thoughts into you, it becomes much harder for you to go out and reach and develop a team. However it can be done, it can be done. And why do you want to do it? Well, I already said when you manifest, you're teaming up with the world. How could you expect source to give you anything? How could you expect your higher self? How could you expect flow alignment to give you the things you want if it wasn't working within the context of everything in the world out there? And so think of it like this. You walk forward, there was a stream of things being set up for you, being put together for you, being pulled in from all different colors and places. You know, like you're walking into a bunch of beads that are rolling together to create your future. That future is your team. All those collected pieces become your team. And the people in your team really are what I'm going to be talking about today. Oh, my goodness, look at the time. I just realized it's time for a break. This is a perfect, perfect moment, what we're going to do. Quick break. When we get back, I'm going to talk to you about how to identify your teams, how to keep your Teams growing. And then we're going to do some flow dreaming. And of course I will answer your calls. This show does tape as a live radio program, so you can always call in. Okay, we'll be back right after this with more flow dreaming.

Students in MI School.
Now let's get back to the episode.
Welcome back. So I was just about to tell you before we went to break about team, Right? Now that you've identified maybe where you've been pulling back from it, you can figure out how you're going to go forward and embrace it and why. First of all, we have teams everywhere. Like I was just alluding to, your future itself is pulled together by team elements essentially. But we have smaller teams within that. We call them communities. We call them families. Family, right. Your basic number one team, the one you came in with, the one we often struggle so hard to maintain and Keep bold together. They're your team. What about other teams, though, that are less obvious? I discovered this year I have a team of healthcare, healthcare workers. These include doctors and nutritionists and my acupuncturists and my gym trainer, my massage therapist. Right. My nutritionist, everybody, they're all in there helping me with my health. They're my health team. I've selected them, I've chosen them. In fact, I think it was going through the process of very consciously choosing who would be on my team, who I trusted, who I wanted to guide me, that made me even more aware of all the other teams that I haven't quite chosen so much, such as, for instance, your teams of co workers. Did you choose them specifically? No. Did you choose the employer? Yes. Do you choose that employer every day, that workplace? Yes. If you say no, I'm not choosing it. Well, yes, you are. You say, no, I have to work there. I have no other job. Have you tried getting another job? You led yourself there through a series of events. It's been created, it was created for you based on what you were walking into your future with at the time you created. It helps explain often why jobs fit us. And then they stop fitting us and we say, what happened? Things changed. You got that job five years ago, 10 years ago, you were walking in with a whole different set of expectations, a different person, a different person aligned to that job than the one you are today. So to get back to it, you have a team of co workers, team that includes your boss. If you're self employed, you have a team of peers, your professional network, again, those are chosen by and large chosen by you. Selected. You have a team of friends. Again, chosen, selected. You also have a team of your community supports. And by that I mean who's watching the kids after school? You know, who are your teachers? Who are your kids? Teachers. Who's cutting your grass, for goodness sakes, do you have a gardener? These are all people that help you run your life. You know, your tax person, they're all on your extended team selected by you. So this is where it starts to become really critical. We accept some people as just of course their default. Of course they're on my team. Of course I have a tax person. Of course I have a, you know, childcare, of course I have. Okay, what about other people? Do you have a spiritual team? Do you have a church? Do you have a community? Do you have a personal growth team? Do you have anybody helping you in that area? That aspect of your life, Is it continuous? Is it regular? This really helps you see where you're putting your attention. Where are you putting your alignment, your spiritual team, your personal growth team? Are you doing it randomly? Are you just pulling down books from the library shelf, hoping to learn a language that way? Or are you investing in something you know? Are you putting yourself where you're really going to learn and deepen and grow? We do that with our careers. We take those extra courses and those extra classes. We're going to grow, we're going to deepen, we're going to figure it out. Are you doing that elsewhere? We do that at the gym when we hire a trainer. Are you doing that in your spirituality? Are you doing that in your growth? Have you done that with your family, with your friends? Right. Do you have, do you have an idea of how you want them to be? Do you have help in creating that? Starting to make you think differently about teams? Teams as support systems, support structures. Now here's the next thing that's really key. If you don't have a skill set yet, if you don't have a talent yet, if you haven't reached a certain point in your awareness that you're trying to go toward, when you join a team, you want to join a group of people who have that, they have it already. You want to ask them, will you let me in? The point is, always align yourself with people who are at your level or one level up, right? At your level or one level up. And you know what I'm saying? You align with people who are sort of one level ahead of you. Because who you surround your with is who you become. Who you surround yourself is who you become. Every mom has said that to every teenager since the dawn of time. And it's true. So if you're surrounding yourself with people who are thinking successfully, who are dynamic, who are charged up, who are fierce and fearless, who are compassionate, who are in alignment, who are financially well off, even throw anything in you want. Those are the people, if you're with them, that you will start mimicking. You will start thinking the way they think. You will start behaving the way they behave. And this is what you want. You're not trying to copycat, but you're trying to create around you the support structure that you can bloom into with people who are already doing it or who have committed to do it. Is this making sense? This is an act of creation. This is an act of flow. This is the conscious action part of it, I should say, right? The pre paving, the flow dreaming that is. Here's where I want to go, this is what I feel. Flow put it together for me. But if you do it in a vacuum, if you do it as a solo player, flow can only give you so much. We're here to have relationships, and these relationships are what propel us or hinder us all the time. Are your relationships, are your teams propelling you or are they hindering you? What are you accepting? What are you intending? What are you creating? So, you know, when I put together mi school to use that as an example, I put together a very conscious and deliberate method and place where people of like mind could get together and become a team. They said, here are the things I want to learn, here is who I want to become. And they expect everyone else who's on their team to also be at the same level because they want to align with each other. They want to spin at the same rate. As I was just teaching my class, like I said before, this, right, we want to spin at the same rate. What you can do right now is look around at everybody in your life and you have a feeling. Some people, you want to be more like them. Some people, they're like you. Some people are not a fit at all. Whoever you're with is who you're aligning to. If you're looking around and feeling like there are things that I don't like, maybe I want more friends. Maybe. I've had a series of things happen in my life and I've lost a lot of friends. I've moved, I've had a divorce, I left my workplace, it could be anything. If you look at that and you think, okay, I need a team. I need people around me who think like me. Do you just go out and scoop up everybody that's in the grocery store line with you? I always use the grocery store line, right. Because it's such a random brew. You look ahead, you look behind you, and you're like, wow, all totally different. Would you scoop them all up and say, you're all my friends now? No. You're looking for alignment. You create that alignment. So see who's in your life. Because they represent you. They represent you, they reflect you. I know. It's kind of a powerful thought. If you think about it. Your friends, your family, co workers, peers, networks, they reflect you. You're at their level, they're at your level. If you like it, you've done a really good job. Keep doing it. If you see some places to improve, get in there, improve. It's time. It's a brand new year. Gather your Team, you know, one, one person can hold 100 pounds, but if there's 10 of you, that's a thousand pounds. All of you who want to go big, all of you who want to deepen and explore, you need to be holding a thousand pounds. You're not going to do that as a solo player. You're going to do that with your team. Okay? I'm very careful who's on my teams. I'm very careful and I'm always looking at those people and thinking, do they reflect me? Do they reflect me? If they do, we're keepers, we're in alignment. If they don't, we're not. So that's what I want you to be thinking about as. Let me see here. Do I, do we have any calls? There's a few little troubles at the station today, so I'm trying to see, see. Ah, yes, we do. Tell you what, let's take a call or two, then we'll go to break and when we get back, stick with me, we're going to talk. Actually, we're not going to talk. We're going to flow. We're going to flow that this year is your year for creating dynamic, gorgeous, beautiful, supportive team that are exactly what you need to bloom and grow in every area, wherever you're looking for it. Okay, so let's see, I think we have Paula. Paula, Are you from Bloomfield?
West Bloomfield, yes. West of Bloomfield, yes.
Ah, well, welcome. How are you? How are you this year? How's your year going? I gotta make all this dumb New Year's jokes.
I'm just looking forward to the new chapter in life. I'll be returning this month, so I'm like, I want to know. I'm excited.
Yeah. So tell me what you're retiring from.
Oh, the post office. Yes, I've been with the federal government 31 years.
Wow. So they've been your team. So who, who is Paula going to be now now that she's left that team? Is that what's on your mind? No. Oh, so that, that is what. What's on. That is your question. I was asking. Right. What are you going to be? Your silence, like. Okay, I guess that's a yes. All right, so tell me what your concern is then, because it sounds like you're stepping off into something that's really wonderful. You have some fears around it or questions?
No, really fear. Just want to know, you know, because I don't really have anything said. I just know that I'll be leaving one organization and I really had no plans to do anything in specific.
So are you married? Do you have a partner?
Yes, I'm married.
Okay. All right. Let me take a look and see what I feel surrounding you, surrounding you and your flow. You know what? It's. It's sort of a dizzying feeling you have inside. It's like this has been such a big chunk of your life. You almost feel like. It's like. I hate to say it, but a person coming out of jail or something, you know, like, what am I doing? You know, the sun is so bright out here. You know, there's feeling of regret, but there's a feeling of release. I think that's both. You've got both just wound up inside of you. Regret and release. Regret, meaning. I don't know where that structure is coming from. I don't know where that routine is anymore. I don't know who's going to fill the roles of those people for me. So I want to encourage you just to let yourself process that a while. We often think when we go through transitions that we have to grasp them immediately, that we have to completely take them in. And what I found is that you take the transition in at whatever pace you can, that you're able. And sometimes it takes a week, and it might take you six months before it's like washing it out of your system. Right. You ever use, like, a hair dye that you kind of wash in? It's temporary. Six months, exactly right. So it takes. It takes a lot of washes to get it out, and it gets all over your pillow, too. That's what the post office. That's what your career feels like. It's going to take some washing out, washing out, washing out. Six months from now, you're going to have a much better feeling about what you're doing, where you're going each day. But there's going to be some bumpiness in between of waking up and what. What am I supposed to do? A little bit of a loss feeling. That's just fine. So after that six months, either call me back or I think that you will have. I think that you will have found some things. And what I feel are things just trickling in. It's like a day or a week or a evening, they get scooped up. It's like you just keep adding little activities in, adding things in until before you know it, you've got five of your seven days filled again, and that's how you're gonna do it. All right, my dear. Well, good luck. I see a good year for you. So keep going I'm not concerned.
Bye.
Bye. Oh, that was nice. You know, she just needed a little reassurance because of those feelings. And that's, it's interesting, you know, what I mentioned about transitions. I've had an experience recently myself, you know, where I've. When I, for instance, when I finished my chemotherapy, the day after it was done, I thought, that's it, great. Never have to do this again. Wow. And I thought, I felt rather. It was an emotional thing, like, I just can't grasp that yet. I just can't get it. I don't get it. I don't get it. And I kept being amused each day that I hadn't yet embraced it, even though it was over. I hadn't embraced the feeling of it being over. And finally I just said, you know what? I'm gonna let myself get to that point whenever I do. But I realized I was trying to rush it intellectually and not letting my body, my emotional self, reach it at its own pace. Anyway, that's just a little aside. All right, quick break. When we get back, let's flow together. Let's flow for beautiful, gorgeous teams aligned to us perfectly at our level. Okay, back to the program. Welcome back to Flow Dreaming. Are you guys ready? Ready to get into your flow? Ah, nice big sigh. So if you're new, Flow dreaming is not meditation. It's not guided visualization. It's an emotion based, energetic process that connects you from your body all the way through into your energetic emotional self into the world of flow to the world of energy. The quantum state. It's the way that we communicate with the universe. We communicate emotionally. Our thought comes seconds after. In fact, I was reading over the weekend about some recent studies where by what was it? Using electrodes in the brain, they're studying more about brain research. They found that they can actually pinpoint the places in the brain where decisions are made. The feeling of decisions are made seconds before the conscious mind thinks them. Seconds before. Up to seven seconds before you know you've made the decision, it's been made inside of you, it's already been done. I thought that was so fascinating because whenever I'm in a deeply emotional state, I recognize that as sort of the origin of so many of the thoughts that then pour out of me. Whenever we tackle lack thinking. It's not thinking. The thought is just what's translated from the deep emotional lack that generated that. So as flow dreamers, as manifesters, we're always tinkering with what's going on inside, emotionally creating different feeling states that we then communicate out through our flow, creating, insisting, insisting and directing. So that what's going on outside of us is now matching what's going on inside of us. So let's together. And if you are still unsure, go to my website. I have a free kit you can download that will teach you all about how to do this. Take a nice deep breath. You do want to relax your body. It's important not to bring stress into this flow, into this feeling. Feeling of being relaxed. Your hips have settled, your stomach, your abdomen, you've released it. Chest expands, shoulders drop. Neck is loose. Jaw relaxes, brow. You feel quiet, you feel calm. You're feeling yourself drop into a state of anticipation. Calm anticipation. Like everything lining up, up just right, just perfectly, everything coming into place like Little ducks in a row, all of you coming into a big, beautiful, straight line, all of your pieces coming together. And you sense yourself. You feel yourself. You see yourself now giving your mind something to do, giving it images to chase. You see yourself walking forward, walking along a road. A straight road goes for miles and miles. A road not meant for cars. It's only meant for you. It was built for you. A beautiful road, your sense of beauty. Cobblestones, ancient bricks, blacktop going into the southwest sun. This road calls to you. It's your path. It's the direction you've been going forever. Even as that direction has turned and moved up and down, hills and valleys, all the experiences, the places you've gone, feelings you've had, people you've met, you've still been on this road. Road of development, your flow, your next step. And even as you realize this, you have a second understanding that you've never been alone on this road. You've never been alone. It's just a matter of opening or closing your eyes is what it feels like. If your eyes are open, it feels just like you, yourself, alone. The moment you shut your eyes, this road is crowded. Crowded. Everyone you know is there. Everyone you love is there. Everyone you hate is there. All have played different roles on your teams, different roles in your networks, and you recognize I have you and you and you. And you're on this team and you're on that team. And we're all participating in each other's lives. We're participating in each other's destinies. I'm helping you create your destinies. You help me create mine. And you get a feeling, a sense for all the people around you. How do they feel? Do they feel good? Do they feel like you? Do they love you? Or do they feel like they're saying, oh, don't do that. Don't be that. Are your teams pushing you forward or are they pulling you back? And which way do you want to go? How do you want to express yourself to them? Do you want to add new teams in as you move into this year? And perhaps part of you is saying, yes, I do. I do. And then you realize all I've been thinking of is goals and these solo endeavors. Just me. And yet if I think instead about the teams who I'll be with this year, it feels so different. Feels good. Feels really good. Every goal has a team connected to it. What if I shift my attention and I think of the team and I think of me in the team, the team that's helping me Reach that ideal weight or help stop smoking. The team, it's helping me grow my business. The team that's supporting my own personal growth, my spiritual growth, the guidance, the mentoring. The team that's helping me connect more deeply to my family, to help our understanding of each other, to facilitate our love between each other. It's not just me. None of these things are just me. None of these goals are just me. I am a peace. I am a piece of these goals. But these goals involve a team, a team that I'm part of. The many teams that I'm part of for other people. And you feel yourself right now, feel yourself opening up and sharing, streaming out of you like streamers of light. I'm aligning to the very best people, the very best circumstances, the very best workplaces, the very best schools, the very best of everything, the highest level that I can be involved with, the one that I'm moving into next, that's my team. That's my team. I can feel them already. Do you see them? Do you feel them stretched out in front of you? All across the year, you'll meet them. You're going to walk right into them. They're going to walk right into you. You'll bump into each other and they'll say, oh, it's you, it's you, it's you. And there is an embrace, an energy, a connection, an exchange. Are we doing this? We're doing this together. Yes, we are. Do you want to lift 200 pounds instead of just 100? We can each. I do. And there it is. Do you feel yourself grow, grow, grow, grow, grow right now, growing in your flow, growing bigger and bigger and more connected. And there's no fear, no fear at all. What would there be to fear? You can trust your team. You can trust yourself in your team, could trust your flow. And you hold that feeling in you. You've just made it happen. You've just outlined it for your own flow for the world. And this is now what's being made? And with that, you're able to open your eyes and return from flow. How did that feel? Right? If it was a new experience for you, you may have been swept away and then suddenly back to being aware, consciously aware. And what am I doing? And then you were swept away again. A flow dream feels like a daydream where you lose track of time, you lose track of what you're doing. It's like reading a book, reading about a character, and you're in the story. You look over in your bed stand, and suddenly it's way past your bedtime and you think, how did that happen? Where was I? That's the experience of a flow dream. Except that unlike regular daydreams, you're directing it and you're adding in all of those little points of power and expansion. You're cultivating all different emotions inside of you. There's no worry in these daydreams. You become what you're seeking. You don't wait for them to happen. Already, these teams, they may be surrounding you. They may be getting into position right now. They may be months down the line. But you've just defined the feeling state. You've defined the objectives of them. This team will make me healthy. This team will make me loved. This team will help me grow my business. This team will help my child. Whatever the team's objective, you've set it out so that you can receive the emotional clarity and emotional experience from it. Pretty good stuff, huh? So that is what I wanted to offer you this hour in this week's podcast. Please keep joining me. I will be back live pretty much every Tuesday of the month.
