Flow Dreaming.
It's a show where we talk about the power of your mind to change your world around you, to literally affect the fabric of your reality. We talk about this feeling of hope.
And joy and relief.
And that is what being aware of your flow does.
It gives you a feeling of power.
Again in your lives.
Oh, my God.
You were so on target. You are so amazing. I can't thank you enough. Breathe.
It is the feeling that you bring forward. It is your emotional connection that really sets the tone for what is going to be happening to you and for you.
And you know that feeling when you touch it, it just spreads through you.
Thank you for taking my call.
I don't know why I feel like crying.
I think I just feel your love.
Of course.
And I think I'm gonna get some ANSWERS.
I'm Summer McStravik, and welcome to another episode of Flow Dreaming.

This is good.
Go listen.
Now off we go to the show.
Hi, this is Summer. Welcome, everyone, to Flow Dreaming.
It is wonderful to be here with you. We are going to be talking about.
A fun topic today. What am I best at? Oh, I don't know. What am I best at? And all the head trips and all the energy trips that come up around that. Flow Dreaming is a program about your mind, your consciousness, your ability to create.
Make things in your life, to know.
Things, to be intuitively connected, really to.
Be the ultimate creator. We dip into the fields of consciousness and flow, creation, personal power, all kinds of great stuff. And this topic today was actually inspired by a lot of the conversations I've been having over the last couple of months.
With, again, potential MI school students.
Many of whom are now there.
They come with a question that kind.
Of goes like this. What am I best at? What should I do next? I want to do this, but I don't know if I can. I don't know if I'll be good at it. I want to do it, but will.
Other people think I'm good at it?
And so it goes.
So it's really a question of not.
Just figuring out what you're best at, but does it fit you? Does it suit you? Do you really want it? Will other people value it? How do you integrate flow? How do you integrate power and consciousness into this kind of conversation? And this is really an important conversation because it goes into the heart of how you live your life, right?
What you spend the bulk of your time doing.
And I'm purposely not saying career because not all of us one have careers, okay? Some of us have finished our careers.
Our new career is golfing and hanging out with the grandkids. Some of us don't have traditional workplace.
Careers, but we have careers raising our families. We are caretakers, we are mothers, we are fathers. Some of us are students still, you know, in a place where we're still trying to understand what's next.
So what am I best at Is.
Really a question that can apply at any point of your life, anytime. What am I best at? I don't know. Let's find out. How can you use flow to discover that? How can you learn to trust yourself that you accept the answer when it arrives for you?
So that's it. That's our show today.
As usual, I'll be taking your calls.
Just go ahead, go to my website.
Go to the radio podcast area, and you can find.
Find the live call in number.
And yeah, anyway, I will get to your calls. As we kind of move forward this.
Hour, we'll also be doing a flow.
Dream that will help us kind of get to that place inside of what are we best at? And let's see what goes from there.
All right, so, you know, all my.
Life, of course I'm going to bring it back to me because I'm, you.
Know, I use myself as a role model continuously open. Not really an open book, but kind of an open book. I don't know, it's.
It's funny.
My whole life, what am I best at?
And I've discovered a lot of different things. I can do this, I can do that. You know, I could be a great.
Editor if I want to.
I can be a lousy editor. I can be a great graphic designer.
I could be a lousy designer. I can be a great director. I can be a lousy director. I can be a great empath, intuitive medium. I could be, you know, on and on.
Actually, I wouldn't be a lousy one of those.
What I mean by lousy is if.
My heart's not there, then I stop being great.
Okay, so this has been kind of.
A litmus test for me between the things that I Can do well. And the things that I have passion for. These are not always the same.
In fact, I'd say at least half.
The time they're not the same.
And we need to, first of all.
Step back from that idea that what.
You do well at is what you.
Are necessarily passionate about. You might be an amazing bookkeeper.
Really good. Are you passionate about it? No. Why are you doing it? Because it pays me well.
What are you best at?
I don't know.
Bookkeeping? No, not necessarily. Maybe you're also a wonderful weekend hot air balloon driver.
What do you call those people? I don't know. Just popped in my head.
The idea is that what you're best at is usually something that fires you up. It lights you up. It gets you going. It doesn't mean that you're necessarily technically the best at it.
Right.
I'm thinking of, you know, an artist friend right now. Technically, she says she's not the best at painting, but she still enjoys it. It fires her up to use that paint, put it on the canvas. So is she best at painting? I don't know. I couldn't say. It's not my place to say. It's her place. It's what fires her up inside. That is what she is best at. Do you notice what we're doing right.
Now is we are remodeling the way.
You'Re thinking about things.
Because we're used to seeing best at as a sort of outside observation.
Other people say I'm best at it. The tests said I rank high at it.
I have been given awards for it. I did well in school for it.
Outside validation does not mean that you are the best at. Just means other people's measurements rate you or rank you a certain way does not mean that you yourself feel the best at it. And that's the next point. What do you feel the best at when you insert that one tiny word, that little energy twist right there? Feel. Oh, well, I feel the best at walking my dog and playing with my, you know, my dog. I feel the best at listening and helping, you know, my girlfriend when she's had a rough day.
I feel the best when I'm, you know, down in my garden and I'm.
Putting some potatoes in the ground.
I feel the best at.
Oh, and suddenly all of these other things pop up inside your mind, inside your life. Isn't that interesting? Now, where it gets fun is we've.
Also been trained to think what we're best at is what we have to.
Make a career out of. Not so untrue in fact, I know.
People who've taken things that they were.
The best at, turned them into careers.
Rapidly lost all of their love for that thing. Now, they still may be the best.
At it, but they hate it because it's no longer freeing and fun and fulfilling. It's something that has this attachment. Got to make money at it.
Got it.
Got to sell more of them, got to have more clients, got to get it booked up better. Got to get more assignments, got to get more grants, got to get more.
Roles, got to get more.
And that thing that they're best at starts to be the thing that they don't feel best at anymore. So what do you feel best at? Answer that question right now. Inside your heart. Answer it. Inside your heart. How can you build more of this into your life? And why am I making this my topic today? What does this have to do with flow? Everything. That's everything. When your emotions are channeling you down a track of this feels really good to me, then you're going to be in flow with it. And when you're in flow with something, you will naturally do better at it.
And when you're naturally doing better at it, you tend to feel a lot more rewarded, like, oh, the universe loves.
Me when I, you know, put potatoes in the ground. And when you feel that the universe loves you, you tend to find that you love you. Right.
Did you see how that just kind of one to the next, to the.
Next, to the next. If you love you, then you tend to love everyone else, and you don't need them to love you in a certain way or within certain parameters. You can accept that love unconditionally. You don't fight it. You don't reject it. You don't say, I'm not good enough for it. This all comes together in a beautiful kind of cosmic circle, if you will. What are you best at? Are you hearing now that it's. It's imperative that you discover this?
It's not that sort of flippant question.
You thought it might be, or maybe you thought it might be. It's imperative. What are you best at? What feels best to you? Do more of that. Do more of it. And you can attach money to it or choose not to. I know some people who are amazing coaches, but the minute they start building a business around it, they go into frustration, they go into overload, they go into a feeling of, I just don't want to do that stuff. I am forcing myself to do marketing.
I am forcing myself to build email lists. I am Forcing myself to write newsletters. I'm like, why?
Why? Why don't you just be a coach and for somebody else? That way you can just coach. You can just go in there, work with people, see their stuff, help them through it, you know, enjoy yourself, love it. Why do you have to do that thing, make it into something else? Why can't you switch gears with it? And I see people do this a lot, or they'll do it the other way, which is, like I said, the bookkeeper. I'm only doing it because I'm the.
Quote unquote, validated, pass the test.
Other people say I am the best at it. There's no joy, there's no fire.
So what happens? How do we get to that point.
Where we don't know what we're the best at?
We don't know where there's joy or fire?
We've lost it. We just totally lost the thread. And this is common, by the way. I've spoken with a lot of you like this. Common, common, common. I used to like doing this and that, but now I don't know what I want or I kind of want to do it, but, oh, I don't know. You know, what usually has come from that or has led to that rather, the question is, I love it, but I don't know if other people think I'm good enough. What if there are other people who are better at it? What if I can't make money around it? Or what if there's more than one thing that I'm the best at? Okay, what's in common with all of these questions? Doubt. Right? You heard that? Doubt. Lack of trust. Fear in flow. Dreaming. We're always looking for patterns. Emotional patterns, energetic patterns. Patterns that just play themselves out over and over inside of us, that are.
Constantly speaking to our flow and saying things like, you're allowed to do this.
But no, you're not allowed to do that. That's what our patterns do. They open up some channels and they close the doors on others. If you are worried, for instance, what if I have more than one thing? I have a lot of things that I love. Gosh, I want to create an eco community.
I want to open my own writing.
And creative online shop. I want to get my master's degree in sciences.
I want to get my real estate license.
I want to write a book. I want to have a baby. All of these things are lighting me up. And then you think, oh, well, I don't know, maybe I just can't focus. Maybe there's Something wrong with me Again, let's reframe that.
Why would you think there's something wrong with you? Because you have a lot of interests. Back in the old, old, old days.
They used to call that being a Renaissance woman, being a Renaissance man. Someone who is competent, who has a good general and sometimes even deep understanding of multiple subjects because they haven't been channeled or forced down. Just one. I want you to think of this as a kind of modern concept. You have one career, you get good at one thing, you do it forever until you're bored silly, and then you retire. Didn't always used to be like that.
In fact, if you belong to a.
Wealthy or, you know, one of the quote, unquote pleasure classes, you were able to discover all kinds of things you were good at. It was only the hard working class.
People who had to say, apprentice as a blacksmith, then become a blacksmith and take over the, you know, your dad's, you know, workshop as a blacksmith. And that's all you were all your.
Life because you just didn't have any other economic options. But here we are today in a land of plenty, in a place where you change careers every number of years. What is it, four years now? It used to be seven. Where did that old thought that you have to do that one thing, do it well, do it your whole life. Let's let that go now. Let's let go that other thought that's often attached to it. I only make money if I do it well for a long, long time. Okay, again, this is another thought. Thoughts are beliefs are feelings. Right? I'm speaking them as if they're thoughts, but they're really feelings.
They're gut senses that either tell us yes or no.
Do it.
Hold back. What I've just been describing to you are hold back. Hold back. Hold back.
You can break those down now. You can trust and flow. You could say to flow. Something like this. And we'll do this actually pretty soon. Hey, Flo, I have a lot of great interests. There are a lot of things that.
I'm really good at.
I'm best at, and I don't mean.
Objectively best at other people's measurements. I'm best at inside myself. Why?
Because they bring out the best in me. They make me feel joy filled, they make me feel excited, they make me.
Feel like I'm growing.
They make me feel like I'm creative. They make me feel like I'm helping people. They make me feel purposeful and just.
Warm and fuzzy inside, knowing I'm helping. They make me feel just.
You insert the rest of that line.
Now, I have more than one of these things and I want to play.
In this area until I reach a point of rich satisfaction inside myself. Notice this is different than I get really good at because then we're going to start to look for outside people to tell us that, no, I play in it until I reach a point of rich and deep satisfaction and then I leave it or start moving in a new direction when that rich deep satisfaction starts to feel a little boring. And then I move into another area. And furthermore, being able to attach money to things is a skill in itself.
Right. And it's something that some things I'll attach money to and some I won't. What I mean by attaching money, Well, I may want to write a book.
Just for me, for pleasure.
Or I might want to write a book and say, I need to attach money to this because I'm using it in my life as a support so that I can do something else afterwards.
Right.
Flow dreaming could. Could be something that I just do.
You know, for pleasure. Just do part time. I used to.
Or I could say, no, I need.
To attach money to this because now I have a vision. I want to grow it and get it out there. I want the world to start seeing and experiencing this.
Not everything you're best at has to.
Have money attached to it, but you can attach money to just about everything. Even digging up potatoes or planting potatoes.
Yeah.
Case in point, my garden beds. Had a guy come over, he built my raised beds and brought them over.
In the back of his truck.
He's best at building raised garden beds. Why?
He likes carpentry. He likes being out in the sun. He likes knocking nails into things.
And he found me somebody who says, I don't know how to do any of that. Can you just build them the way I asked you to and bring them over and set them up? Sure. And he did. And they're great beds and I've had them for years. See what I'm getting at? See how I'm getting you to think, or at least I hope I am nudging you down this channel. Now, when Flo hears you start to think like this. When Flo feels your thinking getting really flexible and open and you're starting to.
Say, I'm best at things that I never used to say I'm best at.
Before because I was using all these.
External validations and measurements. But now I'm thinking, gosh, apparently I can just be best at by saying.
I feel best at this. Well, in that case, it's like I'm looking at a whole different set of opportunities, isn't it? Yeah. And by extension now your flow is saying, ah, this person is no longer as constricted. Their flow is no longer as constricted. We can bring more things in. We can bring things in we were never able to bring in before. What do you want to bring in? How about this, this, this, this and this?
Now do you see how things start.
To get into motion? Now, to go back to that person who was saying, yeah, but I don't know what I'm best at.
I like a lot of things, but I don't think I'm best at them.
Again, what do you feel best doing?
I feel best with my cats.
Wonderful. Why don't you volunteer at a shelter, see how that goes.
I feel best with my cats.
Wonderful.
My local, you know, pet stores have volunteers who hang out with the kitties.
In the stores and help them get adopted.
I feel best with cats.
Wonderful.
How about a mobile pet grooming? I feel best with my cats.
Great.
Let's invent some new cat toys and.
Sell them on Etsy. See where I'm going here.
Some of these things you can attach.
Money to, some you don't have to. This is the way that I track up in my life continuously. What do I feel best at? Can I start doing more of that? Flo, how will you respond to me if I do? Chances are, if I'm going in with that good feeling, remember what Abraham Hicks says, Go in with that good feeling, I'm going to get more good feeling. More. If good feeling begets good feeling and good feeling begets opportunities, flow can give you more until you reach this point of utter richness. Just utter richness. So we're going to get to some.
Calls right after this, and when we're.
Done with that, we're going to go into flow and we're going to go into a flow dream that will help you figure out something you feel best at. So I can get you started on this. Okay? Stay with me right after this.
Hey, it's summer again and yes, we're on break, but I wanted to share some important stuff with you about. About the hugely amazing and gorgeous ME School of Flow. Right now, it's either enrolling or it's.
Accepting names onto the wait list. This means that I'm accepting students that I work with personally over the year ahead. And I teach you to do what I do, how to think, how I think, how to work with flow manifest Create and use the universe the way it's meant to be used. You're going to create amazing things using Flow. You'll also open and expand your empathic intuition. After doing this for a number of years, I can tell you MI schoolers make strides and hit goals way beyond what they think they're going to be able to do going in over and over. You don't have to be a superstar going in because that's what we're going to turn you into once you get there. If you're ready to go big, if you know you need to deepen your spiritual practice and your personal growth, then this is where you need to be. Your life, after all, only grows as.
Big as you do.
So MI School is online. That means you'll connect with me from all over the world.
What to do next?
Click or swipe over to flowgrooming.com you'll see an area that talks about MI School. During enrollment, you can set up a free 20 minute call with me. And during weightless times, I invite you.
To send me a note telling me about your interest.
Okay.
I look forward to hearing from you and even more to getting to know you as one of my personal students in MI School. Now let's get back to the episode.
All right.
Welcome back to Flow Dreaming. Hey, Kelly, you're calling from Ontario. What's happening in your life?
Yes, I think I know what I want to be doing. I've had a lot of recent traumas, losses and changes. One of them being dealing with a bully at work. And I recognize that the bully is reflecting my own fears of being seen as incompetent. And it's about me regaining my power and feeling the confidence to do what.
I want to do.
But I'm feeling every time I come overcome a hurdle, which has been many in the last couple weeks, something else happens. And I got another trigger last night. And so it's just needing help to fully reclaim that power and have the confidence to do what I know I was born to do.
Okay, so the trauma and loss, can you give me just a little hint.
Of the area that you've had that in your relationship?
Yeah, there's quite a few, but basically.
I work in mental health. So in the last two weeks we've had two people attempt suicide. And I was very close to those people, so it really impacted me. And I'm being judged as being too caring about these people. And so I feel that there's a lack of compassion in my workplace. And my daughter is pregnant. There's some complications with that. I'm in the process of leaving a marriage and just there's other things, but just quite a few things that I'm navigating.
Yeah.
And overcoming my fears.
So let's.
I'm proud of myself.
Yeah. Yeah.
Let's reframe this from loss to up leveling.
I mean, sometimes even just the language.
Carries an energy trauma. Loss. Right.
Those words evoke feelings of something that's.
Been brutal, that is heavy, that scars you. You know, it's like a bludgeon. But if you say I'm up leveling, I'm transitioning, now we feel a sense of freedom. The feeling instead is I'm leaving a marriage that needs to be left, that needs to change, that needs to grow, that got stuck at work. We're looking at two people that I care about greatly, and I'm realizing they need more. And they told me, they told us we need more, we need to shift, we need something different. Look at my daughter, and she's pregnant with difficulty. And my daughter's body is saying, I need you to care for me. I need your heart to be wide open, loving, expectant, filled with joy, allowing of this child. In each of these instances, we're shifting an energy away from how something is heavy to the door that it's instead opening. Right. And you could say, oh, that's just optimism. It's not. It's more than that. It's an energy shift. It's an energy focus issue. You're in a place right now where you're stepping into huge new opportunities, where things are bright and beautiful. It's like sliding down the other end of the rainbow. Fantastic. And that's the feeling that you want to have inside. I may not know how this is fantastic, but I'm in it. And I know it's right because I created it. And I will also create the next step. What in me needs to shift you.
Following that line of thinking.
Beautiful. Yes.
Right.
So, Kelly, I'm closing my eyes with you.
Let's just do a little flow. Work on that. Eyes closed, relaxing. Here you are in your flow.
Oh, it's darkest before dawn.
I heard that old phrase, that old saying. It's so true with you. It's been a cold night.
Boo.
There were some shivers there. But look at that sky. Look how it's pinking up. Look how the day feels fresh and new. A whole new day peeking up for you and other people in your life. They may still be struggling. They're still in the dark. That's all Right. You just woke up a little earlier than the other campers in your sleeping bag. And now you have the option. You have the ability to shake them awake and say, look at that pink sky. Smell that campfire. What a warm and wonderful day we're going to have. What do we need to change what has to happen? What is this telling us? What is this provoking in us? Maybe it's just telling us next time we need some warmer sleeping bags. We don't have to do this again. We're going to find what we need. I'm finding what I need. And I've asked my flow. Hey, Flo. Give me some things that will help me. Lead me to some things. Lead me to some things that will help me and help the people I love and care about. Lead me to things that will help lift me up and out of this. Give me a hand. I'm reaching up for it. I believe in you. I believe in abundance. I believe there's not just one hand reaching down for me, there's five. And I grasp one strong, and I feel myself lifting right up. And now you can open your eyes. Okay. Everything is going to be all right. Kelly, you're just kind of a little more awake. Just like that old.
That.
That picture that came to me of the campers. You got up first, and it was cold and difficult. But you're transitioning where you need to go. You're transitioning into the new day. Hold that. Okay. All right, my dear. Thanks a lot for your question. Your call. So you know what Kelly was really looking for, really needing there was to remember the sunlight, right? Remember that hope to shift. When you are surrounded by people in trauma, it's very easy to end up getting aligned to those people. Your energy matches those people because you care about them and that's what's happening or happened to her. She started to feel that their experiences were her experiences, not so her experiences are her own.
Okay.
Jennifer, you're calling from. What is it?
South Carolina.
How are you?
South Carolina? Hey, I'm doing good.
Great.
What can I help you with?
First of all, I am super nervous.
Oh, don't be nervous. Just me.
I've done a lot of growing in the past few years, and I've reached out and tried everything I think will help me to grow. I feel I'm still blocked in my lower chakras, and I feel there's still something missing I'm not getting. I was wondering if you could help me to heal that or help direct me in a place I need. I Need to go.
Okay, so your lower chakras.
Do you mean your feelings of safety.
Sexuality, feelings of foundation?
I think all three of the lower, lower chakras.
Okay.
All right.
So those are your emotions as well.
I have a slightly different take on.
The chakras because I look at them.
As sort of energy organs, places that our body holds and stores energy or flushes it through and process it.
Processes it. I feel that we have energy lines.
Emotional lines that actually run through us correspondingly. And I find that our emotions often get caught up, denied, repressed, or, you know, the other, other way that they're.
Free flowing, profound, big, juicy, bouncy in these different, different areas of ourselves.
So are you two coming from some.
Trauma that caused you to feel like.
I need to get protected and I. I'm not grounded?
Yeah, childhood trauma. But I've grown and learned over the past few years not to be a victim. And so trying to get out of that area of my life and move forward.
Yeah. Okay, great. So let's look at you here. As I'm in your flow, looking around at you, you know, the biggest thing.
I sense is that you have such.
A nervousness about giving yourself to other people.
Yeah.
Really, really hard for you. Yeah, yeah. You can't fully give yourself. You always have to be pulled back a little bit. If you give yourself to someone else, you think, they won't value me, they won't treasure me, they'll break me, they'll hurt me, they'll this, they're that you always have one foot out to flee with or one foot that you refuse to give in. And I think that long term, you're aware of this, this can end up damaging relationships or making them more superficial or less tied in that you want them to be. If I were you, you know, I would use this year and I would.
Say this is the year that I.
Learn how to have a deep, rich, trusting relationship. And it does.
Doesn't have to be with a man necessarily.
It can be a friendship, can be a parent, sister.
I just want you to know how.
To fully trust and give yourself. And know that if that person harms you, and they may do so on accident, they may do so because people are imperfect, that it still will be fine and you will still be strong. But you have to open yourself like that. Okay.
Wow. Thank you so much. I needed to hear that.
Did that really ring a bell? Did it connect with something you'd already been thinking?
Yes. And you just validated that. Thank you so much.
You're welcome, Jennifer. Thank you for your call. Glad I could help.
Bye. Sometimes that's all Flo does, right? You just need to hear someone else say something that you yourself know. She was very easy to read.
And that's the ironic part.
You know, when you withdraw yourself, you.
Think you're really hiding and protecting, but sometimes you're just right out there anyway. You know, it's even an illusion that you're hiding yourself. So you might as well just make, you know, make a new deal with the universe, with the flow, and say, well, if I can't hide myself anyway, then I'm going to go all in.
I'm going to embrace. So that's your keyword for the year, Jennifer. Embrace. All right. Wow, look at this fabulous, wonderful lineup of calls here. We've got Jamie in Austin. Hey, Jamie.
Hey, Summer. How's it going?
Good.
Do I know you?
You know, we've talked a couple times. Okay, so funny. Last time I called you, I'm in Austin. I'm totally not loving it. Literally, the next day my husband comes home. He's like, my contract ended. We need to go back to California. And I'm like, oh, my God, this is crazy. So with all that comes, like selling the house and blah, blah, blah. So I just was like, kind of just proud of me. And I wanted to share that with you because I've learned so much from you. And I was like, I'm just gonna not torture myself. I'm gonna let this house sell. Turns out our friends wanted to buy it and they're letting us stay there until the kids are done with school. Like, it totally worked out. And I just, I'm staying on that little choo choo train afloat. And I just wanted to check in and be like, keep me on that vibe until we get to California and keep that positive vibe for my husband's company going. And I guess I just wanted a little boost from you.
I love it. That's great.
Like a shot of caffeine.
Hey, that's my mom's job. She does the mojos.
I'm not kidding.
She's actually got the Dear Venus show that you. Can you find that on itunes or she. She actually records her live show live right after me. This is great. So you are. You are. I love it when you know.
You okay?
I hear from a lot of people who are needing flow. And so when somebody calls in and they're saying, it's working for me, oh, my God, this is amazing.
You know, it gives that needed kind.
Of authenticity, that needed trust to everybody. Who's listening? This really works. I mean, this works crazy well. Like, crazy amazingly well if you give yourself to it. So here you are saying, oh, I don't want to be in Austin, and then your husband that night or like, that day, oh, we're moving again back to where you want to go. So right there, that has just revved up inside of you a tremendous sense of trust. Like, whoa, this works. Like, whoa. I have to actually be more responsible about what I ask for. See, when people are irresponsible, they don't really believe. Then they'll just ask for anything, blah, blah, blah, because they don't think they're going to get it. Once you start realizing, whoa, if I ask for that, I'll probably get it, you become a lot more respectful of what you asked for. Yeah, definitely.
Yeah.
So here you are and trusting that.
And trusting that it's going to continue to be bountiful and focused and full of what the intention is, and that the universe has it worked out. And you say that a lot. Let them work it out. Don't give the details. Like, don't just focus on the feeling. And that's been my, like, my mantra. Like, and sometimes I have to say that to myself every minute. But it's just reconditioning all those old patterns to just kind of have a new way of thinking.
So here's what this call is really about. You feel like you've had a good run, like you're a gambler at the casino.
It's been a good run.
I better walk out while I've got.
Chips in my pocket, because if I stay, it's gonna go bad.
Okay. That's the real feeling that you're asking about. And that's. That's typical. You know, it's. It's not. It's not crazy or anything. A lot of people feel this way. I deserve good things for a period of time before they have to reverse and go wrong again. Sort of like the universe is gonna fill your pockets and then it's gonna empty them out to keep you in some kind of balance. The universe is watching you fill your pockets with experiences this entire life. It doesn't need to keep emptying your pockets.
It will just give you bigger pockets. It's all about what you choose.
Some people want to have empty pockets.
They don't know that, but they haven't been taught anything else, and they haven't done any kind of internal looking to see what else is really even an option.
So your choice is, I can have bigger Pockets, Right. My. My apron has a thousand pockets for.
My coins on it.
I can stay in this casino as.
Long as I want. The universe isn't something that gives and then stops giving. It gives and it gives.
It's not like my mom, what I thought.
Yeah, yeah, yes, yes. Fundamental feeling point. I mean, it's a mental aha moment, but it's also a feeling.
The universe gives and gives and gives and gives and gives.
Right. And there's no cost. There's no ticket.
No. Think of it. It's like this.
I love my kids. I'm going to give them that love and give them that love and give. I'm not. There's not going to be a point.
Where I'm going to take it away.
And go, no, no, no, you don't get it now. Now, between 20 and 30, you don't get any love. And 40, 50, I'll give it back to you. I just give. I look at my life and flow.
And source and consciousness as the same thing. It's just a big give, give, give, give, give, give. What are you going to do with it? What are you going to do with all that love and support?
Okay.
Try and evoke that feeling inside you. It will change things tremendously. And good luck.
I will. And thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you. Okay. Blessings.
Thank you. You too.
Blessings as well.
Bye.
Bye. And you know what? Oh, my gosh, is this going to be a record for me?
Yet another call. Eileen Pennsylvania, Can I help you with.
Yeah, hi.
Hi, Summer.
How are you doing?
Good. How are you?
I'm okay.
Well, I'm going through major changes and transitions, and my main question is the main thing I want to do is be able to support myself. And I have had contracts, I work in it. I always been really good in it, but in the last year, I've been fired twice, both for reasons of. Not because I was incompetent, not at all. But what I seem to notice in a pattern in myself is when I see things are going bad in this situation, I work harder and I work harder and harder and ends up getting fired.
So.
And of course, they're giving me something I've never worked on before, and they're not showing me how to do it. They're, you know, here, go do this.
So. Oh, can you see? Why is it.
I mean, I would love to have a job where I'm traveling and training. That's been always been my passion, and I've never gotten to do that and in the IT industry, but I've been A teacher. I've been a college teacher, substitute teacher in schools, and I just want to know what's blocking me. Why can't I get the job of my dreams?
Yeah.
So interesting. I've been listening and looking at you as you've been describing this. You mentioned I've always wanted to be traveling and teaching. So sometimes we get caught in something I call an energy conflict. You get a job, but you can't keep that job because truly you want a job where you're traveling and teaching. You don't actually want the job you have, but you accept the job you have because you don't have anything else. So it's like a dog chasing its tail. You eventually lose that job because it's not really the job you want anyway. So flow keeps booting you out. You keep putting yourself back in. Flow keeps booting you out until you reach a point where you say, why.
Don'T I just go get a traveling and teaching job? Oh, well, I can't, because there's a.
Block inside my belief system that says that it's impossible for someone to hire.
Me like that based on the skill set I have.
What happens if instead of just going and getting another job that I probably will get fired from because I don't want that job anyway? What happens if instead I take what feels like an equally risky route of saying I travel and teach and it's related to my it? Perhaps I'm working for an IT company in some way where I'm doing inner, you know, inside company training, for instance, something along those lines.
What happens if I just stretch and expand into that?
What happens if instead of pursuing that thing that, you know, keeps telling me you're getting out of your depth? This is difficult. These people are not helping you. I'm not getting support. See, that's a way. Flo says we're giving you resistance. Resistance, resistance, resistance. How much resistance do we need to give you until you hear us and.
You keep getting it more and more and more? Yeah, so what I'm.
Yeah, what I'm pointing out is that route you've been taking, it's felt like the safe route, but what your flow is actually showing you is it's not safe at all, because this is what.
Keeps happening in this pattern.
So the thing that you thought was the least safe is actually coming to seem more safe.
That's your flow nudging you. Nudge, nudge, nudge.
Away from there.
Open up over here.
So what I'd rather see you do is this.
I'm going to model a little flow dream for you with your eyes closed. Here we go. I am phenomenal at certain skills in it. I'm just really good. And I am found. I'm chosen. I am picked by that company who needs those skills. And these are skills that I myself want to develop and grow where my heart just lights up when I do them.
I feel great.
I am the best at this. I'm the best at this. And a company is looking for me, looking for someone at the best who is the best at what they're looking for. We're matching. In other words, we're just matching. And I'm teaching and I'm training and this is feeling so easy. And I recognize a little light is.
Going off in me saying, oh, my gosh, it's so easy. Could it be true? And I realize, oh, look at that.
You don't trust things that are too easy. You only trust them if they're hard and difficult and you have to work harder and harder. That's an old pattern. Let's get rid of that. Let's trust that next job that comes in. And they say, would you do some in house training for us? Would you learn this system and then teach it to these other people?
Would you?
And you're saying, yeah, yeah. Oh, that feels so good.
Oh, that's exactly what. Oh, I'd love to do that. Oh, and then maybe a few years.
Down the road, I could innovate or I could manage it.
I could do. Oh, my goodness, look at all the.
Places we could go with this. Ah, big sigh of relief. Oh, that feels so much better. That's what the right path feels like. Ah, feel good. Yeah, that's what I'm doing. All right, so you can open your eyes, return.
Really good.
You just got in the feeling state.
Of what you want to be doing and how it feels to be doing it. All your jobs now should comply with that.
Okay.
All right. Good luck, my dear. And lots of flow and I think.
You'Ll be fine again. I think it's going to take a.
Little bit to move your mind in that direction. Could be a couple more months, but I think it will come, come to pass.
I wouldn't be surprised if you had another tempting job offer come in though. That was like your old job.
It'll be like a little test. Will you take it or not? So be advised.
Okay.
Okay, thanks.

Okay, back to the program. All right, you guys ready to drop deep into our flow? What am I best at? What feels best for me to do, to be, to have what feels best? That's what I'm best at. Because it brings up that best feeling inside of me where I feel the most connected, the most interested, the most inspired, the most eager and willing to spend my time doing it. This has nothing to do with so called competency or anyone else who I look around and think, oh, they're better than me. Or how can I do this if other people are, already are. No, no, no, no, no, no. I live in an abundant world. I can be best at this too. There's room for all of us. We're not in a competition. Close your eyes with me and let yourself relax. Shoulders drop and a deep breath. Let your neck roll on your head and shoulders, jaw all letting go. Your brow relaxes and you're feeling really nice, feeling really good. You're here. Walking into your flow, Walking into your flow. It's like walking outside into the sunshine someplace that's beautiful place, perhaps you know, or you make up in your imagination. Maybe there's green grassy fields as far as you could see. Maybe a beautiful woods, maybe an ocean. Maybe the sweet desert smells are coming at you as you look out across this beautiful landscape. Oh, look at this landscape. Nature. Oh, she's so good. She's good at so many things. She is wonderful at making that tree, that strong, straight trunk, those glossy leaves absorbing the sun, the oxygen in the light. Oh, nature. She's so good at making. That bird flies through the air, chirping, laying eggs, delighted with the day. Oh, look at nature. She's so good at making those flowers that are unfurling their petals into the sunshine. Nature. She's the best at a lot of things. She must love making all of those things. She must love expressing herself through all of these things, all of these means, all of these living things erupting into life. She must just love this. I look at myself and I think, what if I were like nature and I'm erupting into all of these things that I love too, that I'm the best at. It's not like nature makes a great tree, but only makes terrible, terrible flowers. Ah, she does well with all of them. All of her love, her focus, her flow is infused in them all.
Go, become, create.
Be the best. That's me.
Whatever I'm looking at, whatever I'm holding.
In my hand, oh, I'm gonna make that into something.
I'm gonna play with that, I'm gonna grow that. I'm gonna sip on that.
I am growing, going to enjoy that into something that lights me up. And when it stops lighting me up, I'm going to look at something else and say, oh, you're pretty too. I like you. Maybe I could be the best at both. Maybe I just want some variety notice right now. What are you thinking of? What is the best at in your life right now? What makes you. You feel good? What are you enjoying? Where is your mind? What are you focusing on? It's all right. Whatever it is. Maybe you say, well, I'm focusing on watching the last episode of my favorite TV show. Wonderful. Maybe you'd be a great TV critic. Maybe you should write a blog about that. Well, I'm focusing on helping my kids in there. Ice skating. Well, maybe that could be Something you could get more invested in. You could help them and grow their lives into a sport that they adore. What is it when you start finding these things, picking up these things that you are the best at? You find yourself picking up one after.
Another.
Because you're giving yourself permission. Go ahead. Give yourself perfect permission. That thing that you're curious about, that you want, that feels so good. Give yourself permission. Do more of that. Explore it. Play with it. See what it wants to turn into inside of you. See what it wants to turn into inside of your life.
Can you. Can you feel that coming up inside you?
The energy, the emotion of it? What will it turn into in my life? I'm really curious. Come show me. Come show me. And I know you will. As long as I start doing it. Once you get it from me, you'll just take it and roll with it.
Won't you, Flo? Yes. Flo says yes.
Come on, give us some opportunities. All right. Come thrill me.
Give me something I will love.
And then I really can feel like I'm the best at in all ways. And that's the feeling you stay in even now as you find yourself returning from flow and opening your eyes. And on that note, I say goodbye to all of you. Have a wonderful week. Go out there and do something that you. You love, that fills you up inside. And I'll see you all next time for another episode of Flow Dreaming.
