29 Jan 2026 · 40 min
Summer McStravick shares how her breast cancer diagnosis shifted what she stresses over, introducing tools like emotional reframing and a practice called "putting it in flow" to lower your baseline stress. Two callers work through workplace conflict and a sudden financial opportunity using these techniques, followed by a guided meditation.

Flow Dreaming. It's a show where we talk about the power of your mind to change your world around you, to literally affect the fabric of your reality. We talk about this feeling of hope and joy and relief. And that is what being aware of your flow does. It gives you a feeling of power again in your lives. Oh, my God.
You were so on target. You are so amazing. I can't thank you enough.
Breathe. It is the feeling that you bring forward. It is your emotional connection that really sets the tone for what is going to be happening to you and for you. And you know that feeling, when you touch it, it just spreads through you. Thank you for taking my call.
I don't know why I feel like crying. I think I just feel your love.
Of course.
And I think I'm gonna get some ANSWERS.
I'm Summer McStravik, and welcome to another episode of Flow Dreaming. Welcome to Flow Dream. Before we get started, a really quick note. If you found this show on itunes or by downloading the Flow Dreaming podcast app, it would mean so much if you took a moment to review it. That is how other people will find this show and get the same great value out of it that I hope you're getting. So my huge thanks and sparkles and flow go to all of you who just take that few moments to go write a quick little message of telling other people. This is good. Go listen. Thanks. Now off we go to the show. Welcome to Flow Dreaming. Hello, everybody. How are you feeling today? Hope, hope, hope. Very well. I'm. I'm feeling great myself. Beautiful weather out there the last few days. Ah, just an interesting, energetic time. A lot of stuff happening, going on, a lot of busyness, a lot of reorganization. I'm watching. It feels like I'm watching a track and field of people. Everybody's running and leaping and avoiding things and movement, movement, movement. Anyway, if that's been your state of mind the last month or so, that is out in the energies right now, I must say. Which led me to my topic today, what I wanted to kind of focus on as we spoke about Flow Dreaming and what flow is and sort of how we integrate this practice into our life and not just into our life blanket statement, but into every little aspect of our life. Over the decade this podcast has been available. And one of the things I think you've seen is that we really go in many, many different directions. Every area of our life is worth, you know, turning the rock over and looking underneath and saying, how do I apply Flow Dreaming to this? How do I apply flow thinking to that and you recognize that it is not just a technique for manifesting and creating. It is a lifestyle. It's a way of living, it's a way of thinking. We uproot, lack in all of our energy, our minds, our hearts, we. Gosh, I'm at a loss for words, actually. All the things that we do, we heal, we grow. Today we are looking at flow, dreaming and stress and gonna share a little bit of my story about that. So before we continue, there's not a whole lot of housekeeping today. MI school closed for the year. I'm very happy to say the program has sold out one more time. Once again, it has done this every single year. Every single year. I've increased, you know, the, the admissions and it sells out again. So we are now done for, for the year. If you're listening to this though, at a later point, you know, always go to the website and check and see because you never know when admissions will be reopening. So I'm so, so delighted about that, welcoming in my other great things happening behind the scenes. Yes, the website is still in progress. Looking like it'll be a bit longer than I foresaw initially. So keep checking back. Eventually you're going to see a brand new gorgeous site laid out there for you. Fun stuff. Yeah. Okay, so topic what is worth stressing over? So last year I got a complete head dunk in cold water about what is worth stressing over in my life. One of the things that I realized, having been diagnosed with breast cancer last year and then going through subsequent treatment, doing 10 months as it turned out, of regular oncological treatment, meaning mastectomy, radiation, chemotherapy, followed by my second phase, which is all of my natural alternative healing methods, including energy work, supplements, nutrients, vitamins, herbs, acupuncture. What else am I doing? Gosh, a whole list of things, emotional cleansing and clearing, all the other stuff that has to be done when you're taking care of something like this. For me, this was an eye opener on so many levels, I can't even again express them. One of the biggest, though, understandings that came to me is that I had inadvertently adopted a kind of heartbeat of stress in my life. A baseline, you could say, of stress that became so familiar that I ceased to recognize I was even holding it, that it was even there inside me. And what I mean by a heartbeat of stress or a baseline of stress, think of it like some energy in your life that gradually increases itself. Right. Every year it kind of ups the level. Ups the level. As if you were Listening to music quietly. And then someone turns it up a little and you didn't notice because you are thinking about doing other things. And then someone turns it up a little louder and you're still not noticing because you've been listening to the music, You've forgotten that it started quieter. And one day you realize, I can't even think. This music is so loud. When did that happen? Because you've gradually become accustomed to it. And I noticed that my emotional system had become accustomed to stress, Just accustomed to it, like, oh, I can hold that, I can do that. And my body physically had become accustomed to this degree of stress. My mind became accustomed to a degree of stress, a large degree of stress. And when I received word that I had cancer, I became aware of this deep underlying level of stress. And notice how I broke stress down into these three different areas. Emotional, mental, and body held stress. So my body was the first to, let's say, you know, pull the stop button. Push the stop button. Hey, we've had enough. We're done. We need you to take care of this now. Take care of me, right? Let's pull back. Something went amiss. One of your cells, frankly, just divided. Wrong. It's all it takes, just one cell dividing incorrectly and not being swept out or cleaned out. But with this load of stress constantly, constantly coming at me, I wasn't able to attend to that one cell. This realization kind of woke me up in many, many ways. It made me understand that the degree of stress I have in my life is really up to me always. Because now this perspective shift that I've had, this awareness that has grown in me, grown in flow, grown in my life, grown in the way that I do things now, is that something has to be of an extraordinarily important level to create or cause stress inside of me, right? It has to be life threatening. It has to hurt my. I don't even want to say these words, hurt somebody I love or, you know, it has to be pretty big. Because if it's something small, if it's something annoying, if it's something that someone else brings to me because they don't like something I said or did, or I cut them off on the road, or if it's something that's happening at work, you know, someone is dissatisfied or unhappy, if it's something like that, there's this little equation, this little weighing. It's like, you know, a set of scales that goes off in my head. Is this worth risking my life over? Is this worth risking my life over? You See, because I had that risk in my life. And I know all of you who've had heart attacks, ongoing debilitating pain, fibromyalgia, things like that, that really just pull you out of life, clamp you down. You know what I'm talking about? Is this worth my life? And you say, no, it's not. I cannot afford to be stressed. I cannot afford it. And I was actually communicating this, the same idea to one of my diamond students just a day or two ago. And it made me realize I need to tell more than just one person. I need to tell all of you. You can't afford stress. You can't afford it. But why is it that we reach this point where we're willing to hold so much of it? Now, many of you have heard me speak in the past about capacity, right? This ability to hold a lot in our life, holding a lot does not mean holding things that are heavy, hard, difficult, upsetting, anxiety producing, anger producing. I mean, you can hold that if you want. But why, if I give you the biggest bowl in my kitchen, are you going to fill it up with. With cherries and strawberries? Are you going to fill it up with old moldy crud? Right? Fill it up with cherries and strawberries. If I am holding a lot in my life, the things that I want to hold more of is free time. I want to hold and think about that. We often think of free time as lack of holding anything. Oh, no. If that was so true, why is free time so hard to get? It's actually one of the most difficult things for us to often integrate into our lives. I want to hold more of that. I want to hold more vacations and travel time. I want to hold more time with my children. I want to hold more quality time with my students and the people I work with each month. I want to hold more quality time with my employees, the people who help me in my mission. Right? There's still a lot that I want to hold. I want to hold all of my other interests and activities, my personal things that I love to do, like getting back into strength training, getting back into my yoga practice. I hold all of that. I have a very full, full life. Two kids on top of it and a husband. I have a full, full life. I hold that. I don't need to hold stress in there, though. In fact, the more stress I'm holding, the less. The less energy, the less time I have for all of that. So look at stress right now as a kind of energetic force. Think of it as like A like a slimy, disgusting wave of energy that will drop itself and fold itself over all kinds of things in your life. It will take up space and you will be required to hold it. And it's heavy and it doesn't feel good and it breaks you down and you end up storing it in all of these areas. So how do you get out of stress? Right, the first thing I already mentioned, I hinted at it. You can't afford it. You have to become very, very clear before something strikes you. You don't want to go that far, you don't have to go that far. It's actually unnecessary, not necessary to go that far. You just need to get the awareness. I cannot afford stress. I cannot afford it and I don't allow it. And if it's something that normally would have triggered me, upset me, pressured me, frustrated me, if it's a deadline that I'm missing, how does flow help me deal with that? Here I've been studying and thinking about these tools for all this time. All this flow dreaming stuff, well, that's what flow is there for. It's for stress. It's for everything. Now if something is not working, if it's stuck, if it's upsetting me, if it's, if it's about to push me into a state of stress, I say, ah, one, I can't afford you. You're not worth risking my life over. I'm so sorry. You know, I just can't get all wrapped up about this. I'll pay attention to it, I'll take care of it, but I'm not going to let myself get wound up in it. I'm not going to carry that energy in me. Sorry, I just can't. I need my energy instead so I can give more love to my kids, so I can get some art done that I've wanted to complete so I can do all these other things. All right, so if I can't give you stress, then what? How do I deal with this? Oh, there's another way. It's called putting it in flow. Putting it in flow? What does putting things in flow mean? Well, if you have something that is causing the stress, you know, think of something right now in your mind. Anything small, big, causing you stress. What is that stress made of? What are the feelings that are wrapped up around it? If you pull back a little bit and you get a little bit bigger perspective, what you're going to see is that you probably have a lot of lack thinking surrounding this thing. If I miss this deadline, this terrible thing will happen. If I don't perform well on this exam, this terrible thing will happen. If, you know, I don't get this argument sorted out with my, you know, my sibling, this terrible thing will happen. Lack, lack, lack, lack, lack. Thinking is almost always a big portion of our stress. There's fear. There's a sense that something terrible will result, or something terrible is resulting, or it's just not going the way I want it to. Well, why do you need it to go that particular way? Why are you needing to control it? Because if I don't, I will be out of control in the situation. If I'm out of control in the situation, I don't trust my life and I don't trust flow. Why not? Because I'm in a place of lack. Ultimately, if I don't trust, it means I think everything will default to lack. Wow, that's a pretty sad way to live. Did you ever think about that? Did you ever look at that before? Right. So the first thing you need to do is get a grip on your lack thinking and be able to say, I cannot afford you. Stress. Just can't. I can't. You're gonna have to be way more important for you to be able to get something out of me, because I just can't give myself to you. I have higher standards. Isn't that a funny way of putting it? But you have to ask yourself, what is worth my stress? What's worth it? Think of it for instance, like this. Every time you feel stress, it's the equivalent of someone punching you in the face. Ouch. What would be worth getting punched in the face for? Very few things. I can think of some. Right. If I had to step in front of someone trying to harm someone I love, that would be worth it. But not many other things would be. And yet, day by day, think of all the little things that trigger you, provoke you, that add to that stress that slowly and surely have been. Turning up the volume. Turning up the volume. Take a moment right now. What is the volume level of stress in your life? How did it get there? How do you know? Listen, your body will tell you in many, many ways. And often it is the body that's the first to let you know. Why? Because your emotional self has been trying to tell you for years. It's been trying to tell you, this hurts. I don't like this. I'm depressed. I'm unhappy. Why do you keep telling me to wait another year? Why do you keep telling me, save it for later, we can't deal with that. Now, why do you keep. And you keep crushing and pushing and pressuring your emotional self to do what you are making it do, and it gives up? Fine. All right. Fine. Okay. All right. You know that feeling? Think about when someone's pressuring and pushing you constantly. After a while, fine, okay. I'll just be that way. I'll just be stressed. I'll just be unhappy. Your mental self has been telling you. It's been saying, I can't fall asleep at night, right? I have all these issues of anxiety and things coming up for me. I have this constant sense of panic or fear something might be going wrong. I go on a vacation and it takes me three days before I allow myself to relax. And even then, it's really hard. I'm checking my phone the whole darn time. Your mental self is saying, I'm really stressed. Can we get a grip on this? And again, no, we can't. How come? Because we've got this, this, and this to do. And if we drop any of these balls, these terrible, terrible things will happen. Lack, lack, lack, lack, lack. Right? It's like pushing a horse and whacking it with a crop over and over and over and over. What happens eventually? Well, your body, that horse says, hey, hey. Can you feel how tense my shoulder muscles are right now? Can you see how I'm getting these headaches every day? Can you see how my entire digestive system has gone off? Can you see how my adrenals are acting up? They're fried. They're burned out. Can you see how hard it is for me to get up in the morning? Can you see how I just sometimes don't even want to deal with. Can you see how it just feels so good to reward myself with that entire bag of potato chips and zone out on the. On. On the couch after work for three hours instead of getting the stuff done that I wanted to do? Because I just need to get away. And I'm your body, and damn it, I'm gonna do it. Do any of these sound familiar? Right? These are all indicators. Red flags. Stress, stress, stress, stress, stress, stress. What will it take for you to listen? What will it take? Now, here's what I suggest for you before we go into a break and we start getting to some fun calls, and of course, we're going to be doing a flow dream to eliminate our stress. I suggest this, though. Take the rest of the day, right? Plan yourself 10, 15 minutes. And believe me, if you can't find 10 or 15 minutes to address your stress level today, right there That's a red flag indicator. I don't have time for this. It's not important enough. Oh, yeah, your life isn't important enough. Your love, your happiness, your health, really take 10, 15 minutes and do a stress check. Like, get real with yourself. Get really real. How much am I holding? How much am I shouldering? How much have I lowered the bar in terms of what can trigger stress in me? How motivated am I to stop being this way? If someone said you can live totally differently, you can live a life where you have a 90% reduction in stress, right? That right now is my goal. 90% reduction in stress. It's fitting into with my overall goal this year, which is balance. Right? I'm asking my flow lead me to situations that create balance, lead me to make smart decisions that encourage balance. Notice, balance does not mean failure, does not mean getting things not done. It means doing everything well, just doing it in balance, right? So what if you could live with 90% less stress? What thoughts immediately leap up into your head, oh, my God. Like, how? How could you possibly do that? Think of all the things that would drop. Think of how my income would go away. Think of how I wouldn't show up for work anymore. Think of how do you go into that immediate lack thinking, which is telling you all the things that would happen that are impossible. Ooh, did you see that? You don't need to think that. All of that's a big fat lie. That's untrue. You can live with 90% less stress and you can live just as successfully. If not, here's the center. More successfully. You can live more successfully with 90% less stress. And I'm determined to find that out this year. And I'm going to keep you guys updated on how things go, right? What. What things are triggering stress and which ones are not. I've got one or two things on my plate, but I'm still looking at noticing when that stress feeling. Here's the thing. When you take the music way, way down and then you notice something goes and turns it way up, suddenly I feel it much. I'm much more sensitive now. I'm like, oh, my God, I just felt that in my stomach. That was stress. Wow. What's going on in this situation that I feel lack that I don't have trust, that I don't believe my flow is giving to me what I want it to give to me, that I don't believe in myself or have faith in the universe, what's happening there, Right? And I can step back and I Can completely address it differently. It's very, very possible to do this. You could do this. Join me in this, right? Let's see what kind of new life we can create. For me, this is really taking Flow dreaming to yet another level because it's dealing one of with one of the most foundational, fundamental elements of myself. This type A personality that I was given, right? This high achiever personality. I'm going right into the core of my being and say I would like to be different. And now I will. Hey Flo, help me out. Help line things up that keep me balanced. Line things up that keep my life full, generous, beautiful, easy, right? Help steer me away from those situations, expectations, people that would trigger my stress. And when something does come up that normally would have triggered me in the past, give me all the things I need to take care of it. Inside of myself, inside of my energy, comfortably so that I don't start creating more of this stress. What I am in the inside is what I create outside. My life reflects my interior in all ways. If my interior is productive, serene, flowing, clear, trusting, what do you think my world will look like? I leave you to think about that as we go into our break. When we get back, I'd love to talk to you. Look into your life, look into your flow, see what's going on. And so stay with me. And we have more Flow dreaming right after this. Hey, it's summer again and yes, we're on break, but I wanted to share some important stuff with you about the hugely amazing and gorgeous MI School of Flo. Right now it's either enrolling or it's accepting names onto the wait list. This means that I'm accepting students that I work with personally over the year ahead. And I teach you to do what I do, how to think, how I think, how to work with flow manifest, create and use the universe the way it's meant to be used. You're going to create amazing things using flow. You'll also open and expand your empathic intuition. After doing this for a number of years, I can tell you MI schoolers make strides and hit goals way beyond what they think they're going to be able to do going in over and over. You don't have to be a superstar going in because that's what we're going to turn you into once you get there. If you're ready to go big, if you know you need to deepen your spiritual practice and your personal growth, then this is where you need to be. Your life, after all, only grows big as you do. So MI School is online. That means you'll connect with me from all over the world. What to do next? Click or swipe over to flowdreaming.com. you'll see an area that talks about MI School. I look forward to hearing from you and. And even more to getting to know you as one of my personal students in ME school. Now let's get back to the episode. And welcome back to Flow Dreaming. Love to take your calls. I think we're going to start right now with Debbie in Virginia. Hi, Debbie. How are you? Okay. Right. But this is causing you to respond with feelings of frustration, maybe inadequacy, maybe, you know, this. This feeling like I just. Helplessness, powerlessness. I don't know what to do about this. Right. Or would you say that these are all the emotions that are being triggered in you as a response? Yes.
And I clam up. I'm thinking, well, if I say that I can do no damage by saying nothing, but when you ignore the problem, it keeps getting bigger.
Right, Right.
And I have a problem co worker. But it's almost like my manager has taken on the co workers issue as her own and is trying to make it mine. And I'm saying, no, I want nothing to do with it.
Right, Right. And you've had free communication with your manager about this. You've spoken with her. Okay. All right. And it's still not resolved, even though things have been kind of put out there between everybody?
I think so. I think. I really think that as a woman in the working world, you're expected to be girlfriends and be nice and being competent doesn't seem to be enough. Like a man can be competent. But I feel like I'm dealing with some gender issues here.
Okay. The reason I'm asking some of these background questions is just because as I look at the situation, the first thing that leaps up for me is clarity, you know, which, which. Which is why I was asking, have you spoken about this? Did you lay it out and say, look, this is what's happening? I would love to make everyone happy and I'd love to get this cleared up and how can we do this together? How can we just solve this and. And take away all the emotions that are surrounding it? Yet if that has already happened and things are still remaining kind of, you know, jammed up. Right. Like a. Like a machine, the gears have gotten Jammed up and they just keep grinding on each other. Okay, that's. That's the energy that I'm sensing here. Then the next step that I would say for you, that I see for you, is to do some pre action, right? To do some energy work around this. Let's back away from trying to mentally solve it, because all the effort to mentally solve it hasn't really yielded anything. It's just left you going in circles at this point. So that's an indication from flow. All right, you can stop the mental solving. Let's go into the emotional solving. So this is when you would close your eyes and you would do some flow dreaming around it and you would be feeling things like this. All right? Whatever is happening between my manager and myself, I can sense how it is gently resolving. It is gently resolving. Things are shifting, things not even that I'm doing just outside. Stuff is happening, changing, moving. And I'm feeling this pleasant, beautiful sensation of surprise. Wow, things have just gotten so much easier this month. And you're looking at your co worker and you're thinking, you too. It's surrounding you as well. The whole situation, everybody involved right now is lightening up. Things are lightening up, shifting and moving. These issues that we've been having, it's almost like someone took the rug out from under them. They have nothing that they can settle on anymore and they are evaporating. And I am delighted. Flo, I urge you, I ask you, put me on this path. This is how I want to feel. This is how I'm already feeling. I'm showing it to you. This is how I'm feeling. This is resolved. And I am personally moved into whatever next steps that I need to be moved into. And maybe that means that my co worker finds another job. Maybe it means that I now get to be the manager. Maybe it means that a new company comes along and says, would you come work for us instead? I don't know. And I'm not going to worry about it or stress about it because I know the solution is going to be so perfect and so obvious that I just sigh with relief, feeling like, ah, you know, I didn't need that. I didn't need that situation, that stress. I really didn't. And it feels so much better now to have let it go so that I can turn my attention to the things that I really do want to give myself to, whatever those may be, where my mind, my heart, my energy is really used in the right direction in a way that is good and beneficial. That's where I'm going. Did you follow that?
Yes. Yes. Very. That was good.
Yeah. So that's kind of an emotional reframe. What it's saying is, look, Flo, I've already butted my head against this wall a million times. It hurts. Now I'm giving it to you. Allow things in to solve this. I don't know what they are, but I will show up for them when they start to be solved. And I'm feeling that release. I'm feeling that letting go. I'm feeling this whole situation just unravel. Oh, that feels so good. So practice this. Practice this. Practice this, you know, practice this emotional state every single day, if you can, all next month. So what you're doing is you're creating a counterweight, right? Because right now you've put a lot of energy in how stressful and difficult it is. You need to create the counterweight, right. To pull those scales back in balance and then to tip them in your favor to allow and release this new energy to kind of filter through all of the situation. Can you see that? Does it make sense? All right, so I'm not even going to look in your manager, because I don't think that's necessary. What I think is that you need to start preacting heavily around this. Right. So that the way that you're engaging in the whole thing dramatically shifts. Right. And that will set off a cascade of other changes. Okay.
Okay, that's good. Thank you.
Thank you, Debbie. Take care. Best of luck. Bye, my dear. So I didn't even have to really get into the details about what her job was or what, you know, what the situation was that had gotten stuck and so forth. When you're looking in flow, when you're working in flow like this, you can see sort of like the energy makeup of situations. And with her situation, it was very, very clear, Right. It had been way too heavy on the mental. How do we figure this out back and back and back and forth and forth with, like, just like. Like icky cobwebs, you know, all cluttery together. And we need to move her into preaction. Heavy preaction. Oh, no. This is how it really feels. Get her into that state. Let her be the. The first wheel that gets unstuck in that messy machine that I mentioned that I saw in the beginning. Right. You following? I like to sometimes deconstruct what I've done with people. So, you know, as a means to kind of teach you, like, this is how you work. This is how you think about things. And think through things. Hey, let's go on over now to Megan. You're in Portland. Hey, Megan. How are you?
I'm great, thanks. Thank you. Thank you so much. I have kind of an interesting problem. I started practicing cultivating ease a few weeks ago, and immediately I felt some resistance. But what I started seeing is my resistance to being at ease coming up in my face. But I think I've been really working with that. And suddenly, suddenly things are really going my way. And. And I was look. And I was looking at my lack, thinking and identifying that, especially in regards to finances. And suddenly there's this new person in my life. This man who is offering to pay off my house.
Wow.
My mortgage. And I've just joined me school in the past day.
Oh, you did. You're that Megan. I know you. You just slid right under the wire, I think on Sunday. Right.
It's all the paintings that allowed me to join. You know, it's like I sold the painting. So it's like suddenly since I've been cultivating ease, things are going my way. I would really appreciate it if you would help me with knowing about this gentleman that is wanting to pay off my mortgage. Is that something?
Yeah. Okay. So are you. Are you romantically involved with him?
I've never met him in person. We've been corresponding through the Internet. He lives. I live in Portland. He lives in. In Austin, Texas.
Okay. And we.
I haven't promised anything. Yeah, I mean, he just. He says that he. I mean, he basically had let some. He had had a relationship with his wife before, and he did not do everything for her that he wanted to do, and he wants to do something for me. And he says he doesn't need the money.
So this is a way for him to sort of make up past debts and inside of himself.
Well, that's what I. That's what I picked up from our conversation this morning with him.
Right. I'll go ahead and look in him. Just so you know. I mean, this is not unprecedented. One of my me schoolers in my first class, she had someone sort of anonymously gift her a couple hundred thousand dollars, actually. And I don't know. I don't know the particulars of it, but it was a similar situation. Someone just felt that she could use it more than he could. And there was no nothing romantic happening. It was just. It was just a gift. It was because someone wanted to kind of even the scales in their own life. Okay, so what's his first name?
Arthur.
Arthur. And is Arthur single now? Yes. Okay. Arthur. Arthur. Arthur.
His wife died about six years, 2009.
Okay. Arthur. Arthur. All right. I'm quiet just because I'm looking for him. And I'm going to ask him about you. Megan, why are you doing this for Megan? Why would you be giving her something such enormous value? Well, he says, you know, you could give it to a charity. Who knows what they would do with it. Why not do something for someone who. He knows what's going to happen. He likes that fact that he knows what's going to happen. He knows what impact it will make. What do you like about Megan? Are you wanting to date her? Is there something there? Well, he's open. I'll tell you that. He's open. Is it expected, though? Are you doing this out of any feeling, like if you do this, she'll be at your beck and call or anything along those lines? No. He gets a little offended. He says this has to be something free and clear. This has to be something separate from that. Yeah. He wouldn't like to feel like you were paying him back by being his girlfriend because it would just feel not. It wouldn't feel as good in his mind, like he wouldn't know that you really loved him and cared about him is how he would say it. And he wouldn't. He doesn't want that. So it's like one thing has to happen first, and then the other thing can happen, but they have to be separate from each other. Does that make sense?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm going away. I'm blown away.
Yeah. I would just continue to talk with him about it. Ask him how it makes him feel to do this.
Okay.
How does it make you feel? I know you want to do this. How does it make you feel inside at the thought of doing this? Ask him that question. See if he's able to articulate an answer, and then that will be your answer. Okay.
Okay.
For me, though, it's feeling pretty good. Really is. Okay.
Well, that's amazing news. And I just. All systems are go.
Well, boy, you sure kicked up a life of ease. Pretty well.

So big kisses to you guys who are going to jump off listening right now and then just go write a real quickie little review. I so, so, so appreciate it. Okay? That said, are you guys ready to let go of some stress, right? To shed it, to get rid of it, to commit to that idea of what would it be like if I really raised the bar on what could stress me? What if my mom couldn't stress me anymore? What if my kids couldn't stress me anymore? What if my speaking of manager boss could not stress me anymore? What if my own feelings about myself and what I can or can't accomplish or have or haven't done, if I'm behind on things or whatever it is, what if I don't stress myself about myself? What if there's no more stress in my finances? What if instead I'm looking at my life as perhaps having a series of things that I need to solve, Right? Maybe I need to solve something in my finances. Solving big deal, right? An issue has come up. It's going to ripple and roll through my energy. Ripple, roll through my flow needs to be looked at, addressed, adjusted, solved. Why does stress have to necessarily be a part of that? Doesn't I can be attentive, I can be focused, I can be effective. In fact, I can be even more effective when I'm simply looking at these things and saying, oh, I need to solve that. Oh, that argument. We need to solve that because I know how I really want to feel about this or about you. So let's go and get to that point how we both really want to feel. Oh, my manager, let's solve this. What's not working for you? Here's what's not working for me. How can we change and address this so that we both experience the results that we're looking for? Do we need to stress? No. I mean, if we start thinking this way, if you start sort of letting your mind flow down this channel, this direction of feeling, this way of constantly looking at things is just something that needs to be solved. Not a big deal. You'll recognize 90% of what used to be stressful drops, right? And this doesn't even go into the drama that often gets associated drama. Why do you need drama? Right? Are you in? Maybe you're a drama addict, for instance. Maybe that's what gets you going, makes you feel alive. Do you want to be or stay a drama addict? Maybe not. Maybe you'd rather start channeling that energy into other things, things that are useful, that make you money, that maybe channel your creative self so much more you could do that you could do with that energy, right? Remember, everything is energy, emotional energy, and it's all what you're doing with it. If you are diverting a huge amount of emotional energy into stress, you have now removed that amount of emotional energy from your workspace, and you cannot use it for those other things that you really do want to have and be an experience in your life. That in itself should be highly motivating. All right, so here we are about to flow dream. Remember, a flow dream is not meditation. It's an emotional, energetic experience. I want you to feel things. I will ask you to see things. This is how we use what I call guided daydreaming. Right? It's a way of visualizing, imagining, letting your mind release itself and kind of come up with this fantasy. It's the way that we get into the flow state. The flow state, of course, is where everything is moving, is rippling forward in time, in space, into your future. It is the path of least resistance. It is water flowing downhill to the south. See, it's you as a creative, beautiful, experiential being, unfolding, getting to know yourself. That's flow state. It feels delicious. And we're getting there. Right now, as your eyes close and you take a deep breath, and as you relax and exhale, your shoulders are dropping, dropping, dropping, dropping. You're letting your stomach out. You want to take a big yawn. If you can stretch that jaw and release your brow, notice how all the stress is leaving your body. Tension drains away. The tension releases. Ah, it feels really good. You're starting to feel good. You're reminding yourself, oh, I can do this every day. If I did this for just 30 seconds. If I just said, I'm going to take all the stress and I'm going to let it just drain right out of me. Like someone has squeezed me and I'm a sponge. And what was just squeezed out was all the icky, dirty dishwasher, all the gunky stuff that had been collected from doing all those dishes. Oh, it just squeezed out. I mean, now I feel fluffy and I feel light and how interesting. I have so much more room in me. All that old water, that old stress energy is removed and it's left all these pockets. It's left all this space for newer and better and higher and more beautiful emotions to seep in instead and fill all those new empty spaces. Oh, look I'm bringing up something in my day now or yesterday. Some situation that's been just floating there, hovering in my mind. And I can pull it down, I can see it, I can feel it. And I'm pulling it down like I'm pulling something from up above me, right in front of me. And I'm looking at this swirling little galaxy of a situation. I'm holding it in my hand, in my flow. You, you little bugger. You have been stressing me. Wow. I've been letting you trigger me like that. Address it, speak to it, talk to it, talk to the stress, talk to the situation. Why have I made you so important? That I've let my health be impacted by you, that I've let my sleep be impacted by you. That I've allowed negativity to flow up and through me and into my body. What's so important about you, really? Do I want to keep that? Do I want to keep allowing that? Or do I shut off the faucet? I shut it off. I do, I take it. It's like feeling myself turn a faucet. And all of my stress has been pouring out of the spigot, pouring out. And I'm closing it off. No, no, you don't get my stress. You don't get my energy. We're going to do something else with you right now. We're going to play differently together. Here's what's going to happen. You're going to resolve and we're going to solve this. And new energy is going to come in. And whatever it is that's been stressing me, whatever it is that's been hurting me, holding me, holding me hostage to it, I have this new understanding. I'm saying to it, you don't deserve me. You're not important enough to deserve me. You should not have that much access to me. I am brighter than that. I am finer than that. My life is more important than that. So here's what's going to happen. Flow is going to take you, lift you, spread you out. I'm letting go of all lack thinking around you. I'm knowing that you can be solved or made or created or whatever has to happen put to rest. And Flo, you will help me with this. And I will show up for this. I'm eager to show up for this. I want this resolved. I want it. I want it resolved quickly. I'm totally ready for it to be resolved. I'm excited, excited about it being resolved. Now I'm really starting to feel quite different. There's no stress. Instead, there's excitement. I feel excited. Thank you. Let's resolve this. Let's go. And now you take this thing and you push it off and away from you. You push it off like you're pushing a little boat out into the energy. Go, stress. Go on, Go on. You. This situation. Whoo. I'm putting you into flow. You know, just go. Let's just get fixed. I've got better things to do. I really do. I've got better, more beautiful things to spend my energy on. And I know that deep, deep inside me. I feel that deep, deep inside me. I take a note. Another nice breath and release it, allowing myself to come back, returning my awareness, coming out of flow and opening my eyes. Now you'll know that you were in flow if you had some peak points of emotion, if you experienced a real shift, and if you just lost track of the last seven, eight minutes of time you were in flow and you were changing energy and you were changing up your emotion, and you just did something really profound and real. That's flow dreaming. All right, I look forward to speaking with all of you next week, same time, same place. In the meantime, if y' all loved that flow dream, go to the website flow dreaming.com. there in the meditations area, you will find total stress release. It is a gorgeous meditation that you can use all the time to continuously let go of your stress. All right, until next time. My love to you all. Bye. Bye. Well, look at that. Show's over. But before you go, did you know that my mom has a podcast, too? Her show airs live right after mine. It comes up next. We tape our live shows back to back. Her show is called the Dear Venus show.
