Flow Dreaming. It's a show where we talk about the power of your mind to change your world around you, to literally affect the fabric of your reality. We talk about this feeling of hope and joy and relief. And that is what being aware of your flow does. It gives you a feeling of power again in your lives. And that is what being aware of your flow does. It gives you a feeling of power again in your lives. Breathe. It is the feeling that you bring forward. It is your emotional connection that really sets the tone for what is going to be happening to you and for you. And you know that feeling, when you touch it, it just spreads through you. I'm Summer McStravik, and welcome to another episode of Flow Dreaming. Hi, it's Summer, and a quick request before we jump into the show. If you like this podcast, the number one reason Flow Dream has grown is because of your reviews. People rely on your opinion, and frankly, they often misunderstand Flow Dreaming. The only way to correct that is through you leaving a few words about the program. So pop over to itunes or your podcast app and write a review. It means so much to me when you do. Now, on to the show. Welcome to Flow dreaming. I'm Summer McStravik. As I already mentioned in some of my intro clips, we're going to be talking about manifesting the very best. The very best. The best outcome, the best next step, whatever the very best is. I want to focus center in on this energy of the very best, right? Because that's what we talk about in Flow Dreaming. All the potential emotional states that are out there for you, all the ways that you can feel, all the truths that you can adopt for your own uses, for your own creation. Because as you feel it, you create it. As you feel it, you become it. As you become it, your life reflects it. And on and on we go. So let's zero ding, ding, ding, ding into this idea that of all the roads that are open at any given time, there's always one or two. Could be a little handful that are really top of the line, just top of the road. I've used this metaphor before when I teach MI school. Actually, I was using it just last week and it kind of jogged me to think about, oh, yeah, I should do a podcast on this. This idea that there is an almost infinite number of options no matter what's going on in your life, when you think about what will happen next, really, I mean, we. We narrow it down. By the way, I'm just jumping in today. No, no, no preliminaries. We're just going for it, right? Getting into what I call flow philosophy, right? A flow way of thinking. People who flow dream, people who create, who co create. You know, this is, this is what obsesses us. So here we are looking at infinite potential outcomes. You do something, what will happen. So we ourselves tend to compress down the options. Like our brains do that for us. Our mental selves say, oh, well, you know, you wake up in the morning, you're probably going to brush your teeth, probably going to take a shower, probably going to get yourself off to work or school or get the kids off and whatever it may be, you know, you're predictable. I'm just using your predictable day. However, we fail to see often outside of what is falling within our predictable parameters, right? So what if you wake up and oh, the hot water heater broke, no shower, oh, now I've got to stay home and get the plumber in, oh, now I've got to clean up the garage. You say, what? No, this wasn't, this wasn't in my nose. This is not what I was thinking. Something very different happened. One of the other potentialities sprang up, popped up in your life. I love to think about this kind of thing because those of us who have this idea that we can manifest every single thing into existence are continuously being played with, right? It's not as if you are given the keys to the kingdom and said, go create everything you can imagine. It will all arrive on time exactly as you see it. Right? That's like a science fiction utopia. I think they're coming out with Westworld by the way, for those of you who are into it, which I, I read the book, books actually, but book, book, it's kind of about that very same kind of utopia. You think it, you want it, it serves it up to you. Our life isn't like that because we're co creating, we're playing. Some of it's in our ballpark, some of it is outside of us. It's in other people or it's in non physical. That's a lot of different variables to contend with. Nonetheless, if you throw those three different variables together, your intention, what you believe will happen, what you want to have happen with the second set of variables, what other people want to have happen, what they believe will happen, what they need to happen. And the third set of variables, the non physical unseen, we don't know what time is whipping together, what flows of energy are coming together to interact, you know, like strands of yarn and a scarf. Play with all three of those can you see why a lot of people's lives are frankly crazy? It's just, they just take whatever happens on their plate in the morning. Oh my God, I'm just glad to be alive. But those of us who are invested in personal growth and those of us who do flow dreaming, we tend to have a little more feeling of assurance. Like, yeah, there are a lot of things that could happen at the same time. I've been very clear in who I am in my life, or I'm getting more clear, let's put it that way. This is what I expect, this is how I want to interact. These are my feelings that I want to be inside today, right? So I'm always giving my flow a lot of indication of what I expect from it, what I would like it to align to based on who I am, not what I want necessarily, but who I am and it aligning to that. If I want something outside me, I better make sure I've made room for it inside me first, that I am at the level of ability, that I can receive it. In other words. So when you're asking in your life for the very best, what you're actually doing is acknowledging there's myself, my own desires deriving from me. There's other people's desires, and then there's this third factor, this X factor, this external sort of non physical, perhaps higher self or God or source or soul factor that you want to throw in. Imagine that every moment you're being dealt from a deck of cards and you could have any hand and you're gonna get some kings and queens and you're gonna get some twos and threes. What are you gonna do with these cards? Right? How do you know which of these to play? How do you even know which ones you're going to get? What does it mean to say I want the very best? Well, it's acknowledging that like a deck of cards in front of you, except really an R analogy. The deck of cards are all 52, right? It's the entire spectrum. It's more like 52,000, maybe 52 million. And you could say the bottom 30% are the most sucky, terrible outcomes. The mid 30% are average, normal, you know, expected. And then the top 30% are, oh my God, these are great. These feel amazing. This is how I want to be, where I want to go. My question to you today is why do you always expect the middle 30? Why do you always expect it? You want to avoid the lower 30. Sure. So you've got some like pushback against that inside you. Middle 30. Okay. I'm satisfied with that. It's probably going to be. It's probably going to be that upper 30. Wow. I don't know. That would be cool if, I don't know, could like notice your emotional response to all three of these potentials. It's usually the middle 30 that most of us feel like. Yeah, that's the one I expect. Why? I mean really, why? You've got a 1 3rd chance. Why? I don't know. It's a really good question. Because we don't want to get our hopes up, but we don't want to brace for something scary. So we're satisfied with the middle ground playing out. Check it out. Look how this. Look how this parlays right into our lives. Most of our lives end up being the middle ground. Right. A meh kind of day. It's just a regular nothing great, nothing tragic. Right in the middle. Do you think that's an accident? Do you think it's a mistake that we always end up in the middle? I don't know. I'm curious. I think about it. I wonder if that's because that's what we're most willing to expect and most willing to believe will occur when I flow dream, right? This practice that I do in my life, this conscious emotional creational practice is me saying I would like to see something better than those middle ground of opportunities, those middle ground of outcomes. I would like to see the very best. Why can't I have the very best If I really put myself into that feeling of hey, this is amazing. The very, very best. Why wouldn't Flo respond to that? And you know, because we're dealing with multiple things. Remember, I never advocate this idea that you think it, you absolutely receive it. I'm gonna think a hundred dollar bill onto my bam. Oh, there it is. Right? That's ridiculous. You're working in a very complex environment. Your environment has all kinds of stuff in it. It has other people's stuff, it has non physical stuff, it has your own self generated stuff. It's all got to flow together. Yet the one thing that I can actually control, can't control other people's stuff, can't control non physical stuff. What I can control is me, what I generate, how I feel. So if I am feeling like I want this to work out in the very best way for me, I want this to work out in such a way that I feel extraordinary and happy and satisfied, I want to work out this in such a way that I say, God I was so lucky. Oh, my God, I feel so lucky. I love that feeling. I love that feeling of luck. Do you guys love the feeling of luck? Luck's an energy. It's an emotion. What it is is it's a feeling of I didn't think it would happen, but it did because something was on my side. What's on your side? Life. Life was on my side. Life was on my side. That's all luck is. You know, rub your lucky penny or make your prayer. It's just, life is on your side. I even have a flow dream called Super Lucky at my website just to create more of that energy in our lives. Actually, I have a woman who won a million and a half dollar almost jackpot, and she emailed me. I listened to Super Lucky. It was amazing. And then I won this jackpot and I thought, damn, you really did listen to Super Lucky. You were that person. So this is what the very best outcome means. The very best. It means that if I have all of these potentials in front of me, there are more than one way that this could work out in my favor. Now, this is the second important point that I wanted to get across for you today. One, that there are these. Third point, the conditions you're working in, your choice in the matter. And thirdly, that there are always more than one option or there is always more than one option for the very best result. Okay, so I'm trying to think of an example. I didn't put it in my notes, unfortunately. Let's just say, oh, here's one that's very salient. I, you know, as I mentioned recently, I was putting on. I was putting some offers on some houses, right? So here's the energy that I use. I get the right house, I put the right amount of offer on the table. If it's too much, if it's gonna hurt me, if it's too high, if I'm overstretching, I don't get it. And I'm happy about that. But this is. If it is just right, if this is one of my two or three or five or ten possible yeses, the bests, then it just happens for me. And if none of these houses happen for me, then I keep going forward until the right one does happen for me. I have multiple potentials for how the best yes could come out. It's kind of like, you know, just to totally go in a different direction for a second. Oftentimes people say, well, I'm looking for my soulmate. One person in like 7 billion people. And I always gently, kind of, you know, nicely, sweetly nudge them. And I say, you know, you're a pretty amazing individual. You're a fascinating sliver of God, the whole collection of beautiful, different energies inside of you. You know, you're like a diamond pulled out of a mountain. Raw, vibrant. Do you think that there's only one other person in the whole world who would notice that and see you fully? I like to think of an abundant universe. I like to think that maybe five or 10 people would see that in me and that I, too, could see that in five or 10 people. And by the way, five or 10 is totally arbitrary. 2, 3, 19, 34. I kind of feel like once you reach this certain level of beauty and excellence and creativity and uniqueness, there might be quite a few perfect soulmates that would perhaps highlight one area more than other areas that I would love to be involved with. This is dangerous ground. I hope my husband's not listening to the Swings podcast. He's a wonderful man, a wonderful catch. But the idea is that I don't shrink it down into this needle in a haystack feeling. I say to myself, if this is something really good, the universe is not going to be stingy with it. They won't be stingy with my soulmate, and they won't be stingy with the house that I end up getting. Won't be stingy. I will have multiple marvelous opportunities. I will have the top 30% in the deck. Now, what's wrong with that perspective? What do you think? Like, what do you think? Do you agree with me? Do you disagree? I know the soulmate thing is kind of like a. I'm a. You know. You guys know I'm a bit of a heretic. I always have been in the whole personal growth world. Just because everyone says it does not make it true. I believe in an abundant universe. I believe that there would be more than one being that I could connect with in a beautiful, deep, expansive way who would. Who would shimmer and show me who I am, and I would do the same for them in return. It would be cosmic. It makes me feel much better knowing then in 7 billion people, I have multiple chances, multiple opportunities. What do you think of that idea? So when we go back to very best possible outcome, and I say to you, do you know that's a possibility for you? I would love to hear you say, yes, Summer. And it's not just one out of fifty or one out of a hundred or one out of a thousand. There's twenty or thirty or two hundred or three hundred out of a thousand, that's the road I want to go on. And I love feeling that there's so many variables. Instead of being afraid of that, I open to it. Life, rich, abundant, creative, constantly moving, fluid, changing. And I'm always in the top 30%. That's an energy. It's a. It's a. It's an emotional state you hold inside you and you cultivate inside you. I am in the top 30% of best possible outcomes. So I actually created a flow dream surrounding this very idea. Manifest my ultimate best outcome. Right? That's what it's called. Manifest my ultimate best outcome. I made it into a playlist. I grouped together several flow dreams to do this to help you get into this state. You know why I came to this? Because I've worked for, you know, a decade with people going inside their minds, feeling their emotional selves, feeling their flow. Remember, flow is a world where information is freely accessible, right? You don't need to be a hacker in flow. It's just everything is there. All the information is out there. It's just being contained in these little scripts known as people or workplaces or trees or boulders or suns, quasars. Little bits of information. Scripts of information. You can wander around and you can just read whatever you darn well feel like. People try to hide it, but you know what? Most people don't do a very good job because what you are expands from you, it exudes from you. It is you. You can dim your light, but you can't really close it off. So here, you know, the last decade I have been in the. Probably thousands of people's energy signatures. That's what I call them, energy signatures. I don't really call them souls. Souls has a lot of baggage around it, right? A lot of religious stuff and stuff we've been brought up with that maybe we don't agree with. But an energy signature, you look at it like a. Like a handwritten signature, right? You know, and every handwritten signature is unique. It's different. It embodies that person. When I am feeling someone's energy, I'm feeling a signature. It's a collection of information that says, ooh, I just identified you together. This creates a whole something I really get and understand. All right? So here we are looking in these different energy signatures, these different people, and many times what they would say is, well, here's how this needs to work out. The divorce needs to go exactly like this. The custody needs to go like this. The lawsuit needs to go like this, the, the new job needs to look exactly like this. My house has to be two stories and it has to have four bedrooms and it has to have, and the man of my dreams has to have brown hair and he's got to be at least 5, 10. And, and, and I'd say stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. Don't do that. Because you're looking at 30 potential best outcomes and slivering it down to one and 30 is just a number I just pulled out of air. Looking at 100 best outcomes, I don't know how many options there are. I just know that it's an abundant universe. So if you want just that one, you're making your flow work a lot harder to get it to you. Flo says, well, you know, we could have found a hundred houses or a hundred men or a, or a hundred jobs or a hundred ways to end this custody battle that would have suited this person. But no, they only saw the one, they only felt the one, they only wanted the One. Well, that one is in conflict with what somebody else wants or needs. That one is in conflict with flow, their greater selves. That non physical component that's saying, nah, it'd be better if you kind of did this instead. So I don't think this is exactly what you need right now. What happens when that one is in conflict? Stalemate, right? Nothing happens. Frustration happens. You know, it's a, the push and the pull, it zeros itself out, it cancels itself out and you don't get it, you don't get anything. What has to happen? I say, well shift out of the One. But there is nothing else. There is no more. It's just the one. Just the one that I want. That's the only thing. Would you stop talking to the universe like it's so stingy. Were you as a parent that stingy with your children? Really? When you talk about a benevolent God, do you think it's that stingy? Look at the cosmos God, look at the, look at the multiple galaxies. Look at the billions, trillions of planets and solar systems. Look at everything that's out there. Do you see a lack minded being in charge of this all or do you see a being that says, sure, make a few more. Sure, let's try that. Sure, let's create this and then wreck that and then make this and then suck that into a black hole and then make that over there? That's what I see. Creative, abundant, consistent, ever refreshing. This is why when I look at this tiny thing called my individual human life I think there's more than one. I wonder what that will be. That's why this or better became one of my magic phrases. I did a whole series of podcasts a few years back on my magic phrases, and this or better became one of my top magic phrases for a while. Because what it allows you to do is it allows you to say, okay, well, this is the one that my mind is thought up, and I feel very comfortable. When my mind has told me it's okay, I'm like, great, go for it. And then add this or better. Because if you don't add this or better, you are pigeonholing yourself into a set of opportunities that happen to be tiny enough for you to see. I would way rather open my life to something bigger. This or better or better being the operative word. Now, I'm saying I've got my eye on one of the 30 possibilities, but the or better is damn. There's 29 more that might fall in. What happens now? If you end up being a person who starts to embody this feeling day to day, do you think you're gonna be someone who starts to get that top 30 more often or not? Right? And even. Let's just pretend it has a tiny effect, right? Let's just say just nudges you 5% the time to have better outcomes. I would take that. I would take that in a heartbeat. Because maybe that better outcome is going to protect me from eating bad shell food one night. Shellfish one night. Right. Maybe that. That 5% is going to give me the house of my dreams. Maybe that 5% is me being, you know, introduced to Oprah, for God's sakes. I don't know what that 5% is going to do, so I'll take it. I want to be that person. So here's what I'm asking of you this week. I want you to say to yourself, where have I narrowed it down? Where could I say this or better, where could I say I want the ultimate best outcomes? Outcomes, plural. More than one, whatever they may be. Circle in. That's what I want. Where in your life did you forget about that idea, that option? Where in your life did you start to say the universe is stingy and therefore, this is the best I can hope for? Really, I challenge you with that. There's more. And if you don't do this and you're always in avoidance of the worst outcomes, well, imagine that mindset where all you do is try and navigate away from the worst. Navigate away from the worst. Believe me, that's A whole different episode. I go into that when I talk a lot about lack thinking. Some of us do. We navigate away from the worst. That's the best we can do. Not in our whole lives usually, but just in certain areas. Areas of trauma, betrayal, lack, fear, guilt, shame, areas that need healing. We just try and navigate away from the worst. But that's not today's subject. Today we're talking about how you actually create the very best. And that's how you do it. Right, right there, laid out for you. Stay in your top 30 this or better. Recognize that there's more than one. Recognize that the universe is abundant and benevolent and generous and expansive and creative. And then manifest from there. Okay, quick break. When we come back, we're going to be doing a little flow dream to get you into the this or better, the very, very best energy. So stay with me. Hi, it's summer, but on break. And I know that some of you are still wondering, what is Flow Dreaming and what is MI School? Because I refer to both of these quite a bit in my podcast. Me School is a transformational program. It's a gorgeous and deeply revealing, empowering online school worldwide where I teach you how to remodel your life in any way you choose using the technique of flow dreaming as well as a bunch of other deeply powerful life changing processes. So ME School is either enrolling or it's accepting names onto the wait list. And that means that I'm accepting students who work with me for the year. And you can learn how to do what I do in life. The way I think, the way I build things, make things, heal things. Everything I talk about you will learn directly from me how to do. You're going to create some amazing things. My MI schoolers. Their lives change way beyond the norm. And you don't even have to be a superstar when you go in. Some of you are, and you're ready to go bigger, play in that bigger field. And some of you are just saying, hey, help. What's next? Where should I go? And both are fine. Both are great if you're ready to go big. But you know that you need to deepen your own spiritual practice and your personal growth, because that's where it all comes from, right? Then this is where you need to be. Your life only grows as big as you do. So here's what to do. Go over to flowdreaming.com and click on MI School. And during these enrollment periods, you can actually set up a free phone call with me or my staff and we'll talk about it. Is it a fit? Is it interesting? During wait list times, we just put you on a list of people who've expressed interest, so we can notify you as soon as the doors open. All right. I look forward to hearing from you and even more, to getting to know you as one of my personal students in me school. Now, let's get back to the episode. All right, lamb chops, let's go ahead and close our eyes. I'm in a funny little mood today. Let's close our eyes, get into flow. Let's just drop into that beautiful expansive state. Remember, flow. It's an emotional state of being. It's not a meditation. It's an emotional state of being. And this emotional state says, I release. I let go. I connect. And you can let yourself daydream. You can take a deep breath, release the tension out of your body. Exhaling, letting your shoulders drop. Roll your head, loosen your jaw, Allow yourself to drift and flow to daydream. Imagine. Imagine yourself in a place just a little outside of where you are now. As if the physical world around you is nice enough. But right over there, look. Look to your left. And the energies. Your eyes closed. It's a beautiful door. Breeze blowing through it. Soft white curtain hanging from it. There's not actually anything preventing you from passing through. You just pull that curtain aside, stepping through as you do, you realize you're kind of going behind the scenes of time, going inside space. It's like the Matrix. Look, you're behind everything. You're in the clockwork where it's all being put together behind the screen, behind the movie set, where all the front of the buildings are really hollow. But it's where all the activity's going on. Everything's being set up here. Oh, isn't this an interesting and fun place? Well, there's a lot of possibilities here. You think back to outside, outside that door, where everything collapses into just one possibility, one after another in time. Tick, tick, tick, like Polaroids being spit out of a camera. But behind, nothing has been snapped yet. No picture has been made yet. Possibilities are infinite. Endless flows of energy and light and possibility rippling through. What will it be? What will it be? What will you receive? We don't know yet. What do you want to align to? What would you feel like receiving if you were standing before a big counter of gelato or ice cream? You have 30 or 40 flavors. Which one pokes itself up inside your body and says, oh, I feel like Rocky Road right now. I feel like Mango. I feel like Ooh Raspberry sorbet. How do you feel? Maybe you feel like more than one. Maybe you can't decide. Maybe you say, any of these would satisfy me right now. Just make it fruity. Just make it chocolatey. Just make it interesting and exotic. What happens when you tell Flo this? Feel it. Tell your flow. I know you're abundant. Anything could be created when I step back outside that door. I want this or better. I want rocky road or something better. I want this outcome or better. Feel something in your life right now. What is it in particular that you could use a this or better on? Feel this and then feel the better. Allow that feeling to bloom through you. Be that feeling. Be it. How beautiful. Love that. Take it in. Soak it in. And now take it back out with you as you cross back through that beautiful door of light, pushing aside that soft white linen panel. And here you are, back in this awareness. Your daydream is ending and your eyes are opening. There you have it. That's your experience of this or better. Felt pretty good, huh? What if everything that happens to you for the next week, you were to automatically say, oh, this or better. Here is the top 30%. That's the one I'm tracking toward. What if you did that? I bet you things would change. That's what I do. It's what my students in me school do. It's what I teach. So if you're curious before I leave you, be sure to visit flowdreaming.com I have written a whole book about this, two whole books about this, actually, and 150 different flow dreams to play with.
