Well, what do I flow dream for? I mean, how much? What's priority? What can I ask for? What should I be flowing for? I mean, God, I want so much. I want everything. I don't know what I should ask for first. Oh, my God. Will you help me? Yeah, I'll help you. Take a listen to this. Got some good pointers on how to focus your personal growth and what to focus it in or on slow dreaming. It's a show where we talk about the power of your mind to change your world around you, to literally affect the fabric of your reality. We talk about this feeling of hope and joy and relief. And that is what being aware of your flow does. It gives you a feeling of power again in your lives. Breathe. I'm Summer McStravik, and welcome to another episode of Flow Dreaming. Hey, all. Welcome to episode number 638. Why you should flow dream every day. And what to flow dream for. Right, what to flow for. So we're going to be looking in this episode at what are we asking for? What are we asking life for? How do we get it? Oh, yeah. Big, big picture. Every now and then I jump in and do a real big picture show. And this is apparently one of them. It's also small, though, because I'm going to be sharing with you an urgency to dig in and do the thing that you say you're going to do. I've been toying lately with an idea of putting together a planner. I know a lot of people have planners. I know there's planners up the yazoo out there. You can buy 15 of them and stop using all of them around this time of year because you forget. But I'm actually a planner user. I take notebooks that are 9 by 12, art sketchbooks, and frankly, those become my planners. I list things that I want to do and accomplish. Sometimes I look at blank pages and I'll write out new directions. I'll mind map. I play. It's my play journal. But I'm bringing this up because doing my practice is really, really important. And sometimes I feel like it can even be more difficult for me because I do spend a lot of time in flow. I spend time in other people's minds. Some of you know that part of flow and flow dreaming for me is that I'm either writing information to the world or I'm reading information from the world. And reading other people's minds is kind of a specialty of mine. It's my other habit, my other hobby, my other habit, the podcast that I haven't made a podcast about yet empathic intuition, reading, seeing, knowing, learning, asking, talking, conversing. And I do this all the time with my clients, especially my private clients, my M.E. school students. So when it comes to, you know, the beginning or the end of the day, I'm like, I've already been in flow today. And yes, I do get a lot of after effects from that. When you are spending time in a bathtub, you are going to get wrinkly, right? So I spend a lot of time every day in the bathtub and I'm like, I'm all wrinkly. And now you want me to do it for me. And I remind myself, yeah, this actually is you time, me time. This is actually your moment. All for you. And so I make those moments, or I go in. I go in and I feel speak to the universe. I don't really pray, though. I have played with praying and different forms of praying and discovered that I kind of like those too. But I go in and I have a conversation. And the conversation isn't really based on words. It's based on my feelings, where I choose to create certain feelings, make them bloom and blossom in me, make them grow, make them reach out and dance like little twinkly stars in the universe. And I'm saying, gosh, the year ahead for me is going to be really good. I see beautiful things dropping in my hands, in my lap. I feel myself being of great service. I feel my vision and my wisdom being communicated to all the people that it needs to be or who will benefit. Whether wide or small, it happens. I feel my heart full. I feel my days filled with joy and laughter. I feel motivation kicking in. I feel a deep desire to re engage with life and people. I feel that feel it every day. Maybe not re engage, but engage depends on where you're at. I said re engage because frankly, we've come from a kind of quiet time in our universe. A quiet, panicky, retracted time. That's sort of what our first half of the year has been like, huh? It's been weird. So that's what prompted me to. To, you know, come up with the episode. Right. What should you be flowing for right now? What's the best thing? Like, what's the number one thing? Well, first of all, there is no number one. I know. It's so tempting. You just like, oh, just tell me the number one thing, Summer, please, I'll do it. Just take that burden off me. The number one thing we flow for is totally synced to who you are. And the phase that you're in. Maybe you're in a healing phase. Every day you're gonna flow for healing. Maybe you're in a growth phase. Every day you're gonna flow for growth, bounty, abundance, being seen. Maybe you're in a pivoting phase. Every day you're gonna flow that you pivot and you find the right steps and you' into the right places, and the most beautiful, blessed opportunities appear before you. And you are shifting and moving and it feels so good. Maybe you're in a loving, vulnerable, exposed phase and you're falling in love and you're willing to risk and show and extend yourself. So many different phases of being we can be in. So what is the one thing? The one thing is doing it, period. When you get in flow, flow is a state of utter and gorgeous alignment. It is a state of being perfectly in sync with divine timing, divine direction, the universe, your life, where you need to be going, what you need to be doing. It's not a need need. Even though I just said that. It's more like a. It's an exhalation when you're in there. It's breathing easy. It's knowing it's right. So what you should be flowing for every single day will change. The only constant. The only constant is your flowing to make your heart feel lighter and freer, more abundant, more secure, and more loving. All the things we ask for have to tick all of those boxes in every area of our life. Tick those boxes for me. And we shift around and we look at all these different areas as we get focused on them or obsessed with them or we're trying to work them out or grow this or change that. How fun. I mean, life is fun in that sense. There's always something. Right now, I'm having to reintegrate my family into the world again. Some of you know that my son has ocd. Can you imagine what Covid does to someone with OCD who's being told constantly, don't wash your hands, and is now being told, wash your hands to save your life. Oof. So I am flowing on a beautiful reintegration. I am flowing on health. I'm flowing on safety. I'm flowing on pivoting and putting my finger to the wind and being able to understand what each one of you are also needing from me, How I can serve or show up right now doing all of that. And flowing on beautiful, long summery days of warm weather and blue skies. The barbecue fired up, a few home projects and home repairs happening, cooking around the property. I'M flowing on rekindling my friendships that have gotten a little afraid from all of this. Zoom, hanging out and zoom commuting with each other. I'm flowing for my body, letting it be fit, get itself on walks, taking care of it. I'm flowing for my marriage and love and my family because it too has been sent through a real pressurized time. And I want it to breathe and feel open and relaxed. You know, when I talk about all of this now you're thinking, gosh, Summer, how can you flow for so much? I mean, how can you ask for so much? Don't you have to just manifest, like, one thing at a time, one thing after another? No, you don't. You set your feelings in the right direction in every area of your life. You let no areas of your life not feel great. And if you think about it, there's a ton of areas of your life. One of my, my school exercises for incoming class. Oh, by the way, mi school is enrolling friends. It is still enrolling. Bringing you in. This is it summertime. Is it time to come in? But one of the. One of the exercises is I've actually pulled out all these aspects of our lives. There's like a dozen or more distinct components of our lives. And I ask my students, tell me how each one is for you, 1 to 10, is it working? Is it not working? Does it need your focus? Can it be focused on later? What do you want? And the reason I do that is because everybody likes to have one thing. They work on everybody. Just give me one thing I can work on one area, one precise, measurable thing. But the fact is I want to get everybody, including me, so that whenever I feel into an area of my life, it's like, oh, I'm going to add good feeling there. I'm going to add good direction there. I'm going to add the right, you know, resistance free, gorgeous feeling over there. I'm every. Everything that I think about, I give the emotional endpoint too. I give where I want it to go, what I want it to become, even if my laser focus is only on maybe one thing at a time. Those are my projects though, right? Those are projects. They're different projects. You know, the books are edited now. Who's going to publish them? Who's going to represent me? Right? That's a project. Projects. Should I make the planner project? Project. How can I safely have my friends over? Project. Project. I want to increase the intimacy between my kids and my husband and myself. Project. So I look forward to all kinds of projects that help me explore, that help me get to all of these feeling states that I'm ultimately, ultimately flowing for. So the key takeaway today is this. You want to choose something that's your project, that's your immediate focus, because that's frankly how you're spending your day. And it might be something that is hot burning potato in your hands, you know, like, ugh, this has gotta be solved. This is a big mess. This is it. This is a big thing. This is my work, or this is my divorce, or this is my, you know, getting my parents situated in their new house, whatever. Got it. But then you're also acknowledging all the areas of your life and noting in your heart, here's how I want to feel in each one. So day to day. The other takeaway is you're going into flow and you're doing the work. And some days you might flow on just the thing that you're laser focused on. That's fair. Maybe it's like, nope, this is money. This is a money month for me. I am doing your money flow. I'm doing your prosperity challenge summer. I'm doing your entrepreneur's flow book. I love your money programs. I'm doing nothing but money. So good, do the money. But you're also remembering each day. I'm also happy and grateful. My health is good, my outlook is good. The world is my oyster. I'm a good receiver. I can heal, I can let go of things. All of that is right there, also simmering on the stove. It's just that those pots are a little further out of reach. They're not the one you're actively, you know, dipping the herbs and dripping the herbs into and the sauce, but they're there. So you do this every day? It takes five minutes. I know it sounds like this should take an hour, right? Like, how do I go through all these things? You don't. You just spend five minutes. What do I feel? What does my heart want to say this morning? What does my heart want to create or make? What am I co creating? Where do I feel lack of faith or lack of trust or lack of support? I'm going to go get that. I'm going to go feel that today. You gotta trust yourself. Trust your judgment, trust your own guidance. I'm gonna tell you a way that this plays out with different students of mine. When I ran money Flow a little while back, I presented everybody with seven flow dreams over the course of seven days. And I said, play each one one a day for four weeks. You're gonna get through all of them at least four times. Play em. It's gonna keep you in the mindset of growth, abundance and wealth. Just a little different angle each day. And of course, everybody really loved it and enjoyed it, but some people were like, some are, you know, I didn't do them every day. I did all of them. I did all of them on the same day. I was like, what? What? You spent like two hours then, didn't you? Yes. Well, how did it work for you? Like, it just. It sent me off. I was just flying. I was in the. I was in the. The heavens. I was so incredibly pumped in there. I got it. I thought to myself, well, that works too. I'm okay with that. All right, I give you my permission. Yeah, that's a good one. Just do that. Their guidance said you need more than just 15 minutes. You need 7 times 15 or 7 times 20. Do that. Pull yourself into the state of being that you want to be in. This is what I mean by trusting your own intuition. I get questions too, like, well, if I'm running flow dreams right now for a good night's sleep, and I'm also doing some for launching my business, and I also want to do some for, you know, really letting go of this old relationship that keeps nagging at me, is that okay? Or do I only have to do one at a time? Here's what you should be flow dreaming for whatever is on your plate, whatever is in your heart, whatever feels right. So go ahead and flow. Dream for all of those. Fall asleep. Get in your flow. Relax. Release. Get in that gorgeous alignment. Prepare your day for tomorrow. Allow yourself to shift into thinking now about that past relationship. How beautiful it was in your life. How grateful you are for it. How easy it is to let yourself go from it and not fear that we'll never be around again. But knowing that when things are right, it may happen or it may not. Either way, though, I will be feeling excellent, content, happy. So put as many on your plate as you feel really will work for you. Put them in any order that you want them. Just do them. Do them every day. Do them as often as you can. Do them every other day. Eventually, what happens is this. You start to become so accustomed to the way that you're training yourself to feel that you just start feeling this way more often. The lack in your mind starts to just dribble away. It's just not there as much anymore. Dribbles away. There it goes. It's gone. It's been replaced. It's been Written over, it's been scribbled over with all these other great feelings and thoughts and more and more you discover that every day. I just, I'm used to going into feeling good. I'm used to going into abundance and expectation. I'm used to feeling like, oh, I can release that. I'm used to understanding that, ooh, that that didn't feel good, but it's okay, I will heal. I'm used to noticing, oh, I hit a limitation right there in my thinking, a ceiling. And I felt bad and sorry for myself and, you know, sucky and ooh, that's exciting. That's where I need to go. This is what I mean by the way of thinking that you ultimately want to cultivate. This is a successful person. This is a growth oriented person. This is the whole point of personal growth. Personal growth is not there just to get you out of sucky, unhappy, painful feelings and situations. I know that's where we often enter because we feel forced into it and we're desperate and we're willing to let our friends and family call us losers and weirdos for doing what we're doing and exploring what we're exploring because we're desperate. But I don't want you to be desperate. I want you to get to the other place, which is I do personal growth because I'm really thoughtful about what I give to other people. And what I give to other people is myself. And I want that self to be really good, Great, in fact. And I'm really thoughtful about the way I treat myself. And I want the way that I treat myself to be very loving and gentle and encouraging and accepting. That's what I want. Now, now, now we're really getting into the realm of this is your self growth. This is personal development. And eventually you get into the world of God. I wonder what else I'm capable of. I wonder what this will bring or what will happen if I go there or do this. You get in the world of eager anticipation and expectation and joyful exploring of everything of your full potential. And this is life. And life, you know, is limited. It's a kitchen timer. It's ticking down. Even now. We don't know when it will ding. So hop on it. Use all the tools you can. You'd be a fool not to. So get in your flow. Start feeling the way you want to feel. Focus on the areas that are hot potatoes. Focus on the areas that you've got long term goals for. Trust yourself. Trust your intuition that you're focusing on the right thing. No matter what. All right, I'm going to wrap up today and I'm going to give you a little reminder. There's a playlist. It's called Daily Flow. It's a flow dream you do in the morning. The programs, how you're going to feel all day. And then there's a flow dream you do at night before bed where you wrap up and say it was a good day, tomorrow is going to be even better. And maybe, maybe that's where you're going to start. Maybe that's it. Then there's a flow dream called Instant Alignment. That's part of that, which is like a five minute quickie, little checkup during the day now that it's hard to get out of alignment when you've got those three things going on for you. So do you guys know now why you should flow dream every day and what to flow for? I really hope so. If you don't talk to me, go to the I love Flow Dreaming Facebook group and go ahead and leave me a note. Ask me a question. I pop in and out. I am not consistent. Social media is not my favorite vehicle. But I do go in there and look through stuff and chat, talk. You can ask me these things. Maybe even you'll ask me something that I'll build a whole episode around. Wouldn't that be fun? Okay, there's no flow dream in today's episode.
