The Competitive Intelligence Playbook

Speaker B decided to write a Competitive Intelligence playbook after realizing Google Keep couldn't handle their growing notes anymore. The project forced them to learn how to structure ideas and organize content flow into a coherent document.

in general, but is there a specific point in time that you can say that, hey, about the CI playbook, this is what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna write the CI playbook? Is there a specific point that you decided, that's it, that's what I'm gonna go do?
Yeah, well, I would, I would wear a shirt where I write I Love CI, something like that. It's just a joke, but I perfectly remember where— when I started really writing this book. I was taking my coffee one morning and I had my phone in front of me and I just was writing my notes as usual, and I saw that the document was, let's say, reaching the limit of Google Keep, so I needed to create a document for that. And I was saying, wait a minute, it's something I want to do, it's something I want to build, let's give it a try. So I started learning about how to write a book, for example, how to make sense of the content in the book, etc. It took some time, but I found myself without making a lot of efforts, just putting notes, just organizing those ideas and saying what goes first, what goes second, etc. So Yeah, this is how it started. And it was a winter morning. I think it was not winter, it's nearly spring, but in Montreal, spring and winter, I mean, in March it's still snowing. So yeah.
Oh, here I have summer for 9 months of the year. So what can I say about Montreal?
I would say lucky you, but I love winter, so it's not a problem.
Oh, I love winter too. Well, I don't like shoveling snow. That's a different question. I probably should have a poem here. Who likes shoveling up snow? Nobody does.
Keeps you healthy, some exercise.
Oh, you like the snow? Really? Oh brother, you're good. I mean, it's not New York snow, it's not gray, it's white, white, and you love it.
And we're talking now, it's November, but in April we all hated Chovin.
Oh, certainly. Oh, that's the issue with us here too. After a while they hate you, just saying.
