Jeff Fuzzy Wenzel shows how to test an investment page before launch: send a link to about 20 contacts, have them record their screen with Loom while they browse and speak their thoughts, then watch the videos to see where they get confused or click wrong.
So one of the hardest things to know is, are people engaging with your investment page. So if you're on a we fund or start engine, typically they're not allowed to put like a hot jar or one of these tools that can track what's going on on the page. Where are people clicking? What does that look like? So you just kind of like, that's what it is, right? So a great five minute technique is to literally send your link to, I don't know, 20 people in your contacts and say, hey, here's, here's what I'm asking you to do. I want you to go to this website, but I want you to open up a loom, something that can record your screen and just consume it and click on stuff and scroll and just ask them and then have them send you that video. And now watch them looking at your page and more than likely you'll get so much information out of that. And again you're going to ask them, please don't, don't click on stuff. If you want, try to be just like, hey, let me go to the page. Right? You don't want them to be biased or like, oh, yeah, I can't wait. Right? But really watch them, ask them to kind of talk through their mind as they're scrolling through stuff. Right? So again, very simple, simple hack before you launch that campaign, right? Go ask your friends, go through my page, Tell me what you like or didn't like. Tell me what you should adjust. Hey, if you're thinking about launching a campaign soon or you're raising capital for your company, go to preitohype.com right now. Book a call. You're going to talk to me. Done. Lots of deals. All right, later.
