This is a YouTube video titled "A Third of Your Thoughts Are About Food—Here’s Why" containing a monologue or talk discussing the influence of food-related thoughts on the brain, the role of mitochondria, and the importance of social connection and forgiveness in human evolution. The content appears to be a single speaker explaining these concepts, recorded in March 2025.
A third of the average person's thoughts are about burritos. What am I going to eat next? So a third of the thoughts in your conscious brain are food, food, food. That's just your mitochondria yanking your chain because of nutrient deficiencies or because of toxins. The next one is the most important one, and it's friend. And friend is all. Life is wired to support its own species and the species around it. All of these are automated systems that happen before you can think. And the final F word is forgiveness. And I use that for humans in particular. But it really, it's ev. All life is designed to improve itself, to become stronger, to become faster, to evolve. And the way humans do it, it's via forgiveness. Because forgiveness lets you put less energy into fear. So you have more energy for food that you have so much energy left to grow and evolve and transform and transcend.
