The toughest.
Physical race on the surface of the Earth.
The race is six marathons in six days across the Sahara desert. When you embark on a physical challenge of this magnitude, you want to do it with a purpose that is bigger than yourself.
You've seen them jump out of airplanes, cross the desert, compete in some of.
The toughest.
Human challenges on the surface of the earth.
I'll tell you something. If you don't push yourself to do things that you're uncomfortable with, you're not going to find out what your true limits are. I always like to look at obstacles as an opportunity for growth. I was carrying a plate. When you put that weight on top of it, it helped and inspired people that were going through depression to share their story. I was about to give up. I dropped the backpack to the ground and I saw that weight, the weight of depression. This is my why. And the names of all the people that I was carrying that weight came into my mind. I was no longer thinking about finishing the race.
I was thinking.
And believing that I could win the race. There's a bigger purpose in here than myself. Life begins on the other side of fear.
