I get a lot of questions on what kind of packaged snacks can I travel with. I prefer things like masa chips, celery sticks, carrot sticks, natural grapes in a ziploc bag. But if you're going to take packaged snacks, look for nitrate free meats. Remember, not all of the nut butters are seed oil based. They are actually sometimes just ground nuts. This is a sun butter version. These are very satiating. This one's called a Chia Smash. It actually has a squeezable superfood jam in it, which is essentially just minced strawberries and minced blueberries. They almost taste like a fruit roll up. So your kids will like them, it'll calm their hunger craving down and it will not fill them full of seed oils and pro inflammatory foods. And even more important, they're not highly, highly processed. It's the highly processed foods that are sending your kids behavior into a tailspin.
