Dr. Will Cole explains cellular dysfunction as a genetic-epigenetic mismatch that confuses your cells. Four main culprits: diet and fasting patterns, environmental toxins like pesticides and microplastics, psychosocial stress and unresolved trauma, and how they interact together. Which one dominates depends on your individual lab results.
What do these deep dives on cellular health look at? Do they look at toxicity? Do they look at cellular function? I feel like you're the mitochondrial pioneer. Thank you.
Where does it start? The information model or theory of aging and chronic disease, that our cells are confused. What researchers call a genetic epigenetic mismatch. What's creating cellular confusion for you? Big areas are going to be the foods that we're eating, fasting that we talked about earlier. We need that because that helps to shift your cells to more of a healing state. The other things real quick, I would say environmental toxins, herbicides, pesticides, microplastics, forever chemicals. So to answer the question is, what are the areas that I just said that are creating dysregulation for your cells? For some people, it's going to be more food. For some people, when you run labs, it's more environmental toxins. For some people, it's their relationships or unresolved trauma in their life or their relationship with God, spiritual disconnection. For a lot of us, it's going to be the entourage effect of a lot of different things.
Right.
You don't have to have it all figured out, but you need to start having a hard conversation with yourself of what's causing cellular dysregulation in your body.
