Gary Brecka explains why he travels with hydrogen water tablets. He drops one in water to create hydrogen gas, claiming it selectively neutralizes harmful free radicals while preserving beneficial ones. Each tablet costs about a dollar and produces roughly 12 parts per million hydrogen.

This is a must, must have when you travel the hydrogen water tablets. So I just drop one of these tablets in there. It effervesces into pure hydrogen gas. You see that? Yes. Water is H2O, but now it's H2O. H2, H2, H2, H 2. That hydrogen gas stays suspended in the water. In about one minute this is going to be so cloudy with hydrogen gas that you won't even be able to see through it. Remember, hydrogen gas is a selective antioxidant. What, what does that mean, to be selective? That means that it, it cancels all of the HYD free radical in the body, which has no known benefit to human beings. It's a free radical that causes a lot of oxidative damage. But then the good free radicals, things like superoxide, which is great for human beings until there's too much hydrogen peroxide, which is great for human beings until there's too much oxygen. Oxygen singlets cause oxidative stress. They actually rust the cell membrane. So the way to combat that is to use a selective antioxidant. One that goes into the body and doesn't over suppress oxidation, but turns it to balance what we call redox homeostasis. You see, you can actually harm yourself by taking too many antioxidants. Too much vitamin C can make you really, really sick. Vitamin C is great for you, don't get me wrong. So is glutathione. So are lots of different antioxidants. Blueberries for example. But taking too many over suppresses oxidation. It takes it out of balance. What we want is something called homeostasis or redox homeostasis. Not too much reduction, not too much oxidation. That is the beauty of hydroge hydrogen gas. This makes 12 parts per million, much more than any water bottle makes 12 part per million hydrogen. It will cost you about a dollar a day, maybe a little less than a dollar a day. See how full of hydrogen gas that glass is. As soon as this is done, I'm just going to whack that whole thing back.
