A spoken-word poem about time's cycles, where every ending births a new beginning. Fire, fleeing people, and a crying girl illustrate suffering, while a tree growing from seed shows how patience bears fruit. Even sleepless nights end in dawn.

Before the day is over, a new one has begun. Before there is darkness, there's a new sun. Before a heart is broken, a lesson you can learn. Before a moment passes, another one is born. I saw the fire burning, flames filled the sky. I saw people running and a young girl cry. It was hard to see and my soul was torn. But the moment passed, another one was born. Everything takes time, everybody knows. How long it takes for a tree to grow starts off with a seed planted in the soil, only seeing fruits after years of toil. There'll be salvation, I can't tell you when. But if it's hard to sleep, and hours till the dawn, before a moment passes, another one is born. Though it's hard to see, and there's a time to mourn, before the moment passes, another one is born. Born.
