Unless you have more than 50% market share, more people are buying from the competition than are buying from you. One of the reasons for that is the competition has greater mental availability. In other words, their brand, product, or service comes to mind more readily when a customer is considering a purchase. So if mental availability, in other words standing out, is so important, why do so many providers look and sound the same as each other, especially within B2B? More often than not, you could replace a logo on your website with that of a competitor and the same content would apply. You're not actually saying anything that they couldn't say about their own offering. That's a problem, because sometimes the inability to tell the difference between you and the competition is what makes it difficult for people to buy from you.
