In this vlog, the creator narrates the final day of a 28‑day personal challenge, which culminates in completing a marathon. Early morning preparations are described, including a cold start and a brief reminder to follow race instructions. A charity‑miles promotion is mentioned, encouraging runners to double their mileage for donations. The speaker recounts the race atmosphere, likening it to Times Square, and offers encouragement to fellow runners. After the race, the speaker celebrates finishing 26 miles 385 yards, receiving a medal and jacket, and notes that a friend, Grant, completed his first marathon while another participant, Tammy, twisted her ankle due to poor road conditions. The post‑race afternoon is spent resting, eating pizza, and reflecting on the accomplishment. The narrator feels better after recovery and expresses satisfaction that the 28‑day challenge is now complete, hinting at an epilogue on the following day.

Early Sunday morning. Grant's up, I'm up, walking out. It's gonna be cold out there. It looks like we're underdressed. We'll find out here in a second. Marathon day. So let that be a lesson to you. Make sure you read the instructions. Start time is still 20 minutes away. Yes, whoopsie.
Everyone who's raising money for charity today by using the free charity miles app, multiply 2 miles. Every mile—
I think it started to fill in a bit. I feel like we're back in Times Square. Pretty much packed in.
For the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Have a great run, son. Love you. Be safe. Yes, sir.
6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Hello, nice to see you both. Hello and good morning, karaoke.
Ciao! Well, we did it. Yes, we did. 26 miles, 385 yards. Got the medal to prove it. Got the jacket. Grant's got his, wearing it. And I gotta tell you, don't, don't decide to do this unless you're sure, because it is really— I'm pretty miserable right now. We'll talk more later. Sunday afternoon after the marathon. My phone was acting up, so it wouldn't let me video at the finish, but I used Grant's, and we'll have some finished video there. Grant did a great job, finished up his first marathon, and we had a little mishap. Tammy twisted her ankle. The ground out there with the roads were just terrible. Sunday evening, day 28. 28 days is now done, and so is the marathon. We spent the better part of the afternoon— who are we kidding, we spent the whole afternoon and evening in the room. Took a nap, took some leave, and I was able to get out and walk and get some pizza and pick up some drinks and stuff like that. But I didn't do a whole lot. I feel a lot better than I did when I finished. I feel a lot better knowing that it's already done and that we did what we set out to accomplish. And that's going to wrap it up for 28 days. We'll probably have an epilogue tomorrow on day 29.
