The excerpt is a monologue in which a speaker relates a friend's experience joining a network marketing company and asks whether such ventures are legitimate businesses. The speaker argues that most network marketing products/services are legitimate and that success depends largely on the seller's attitude—treating the opportunity as a real business—rather than the business model itself. The speaker invites viewer comments, asks for subscriptions/shares, and offers future business-starting advice. I just left a meeting, and as I came out, I got a phone call from a friend of mine who was talking to me about her business, and I'm curious to know your thoughts on, on this whole thought of business. A couple months ago, she got involved in one of the network marketing companies. She was surprised to see how quickly she had grown to one of the first two levels within the business. And decided that she would start to take it seriously. And she's looking at different avenues to promote her business and how she can stand out from the crowd, because there are a whole lot of people who are doing network marketing, and then a whole lot of people who are doing her individual network marketing company. This isn't about her network marketing company in particular, it's really more about business in general. Curious to know what you think. Do you think a network marketing product that you're selling or that someone is selling, do they have a legitimate business? Is that a real business that people can count on and that they can build? I'm curious to know your thoughts on that. Interesting, I just got a text from her. Interested to know what you think if that is a legitimate business or not. Well, for me, the answer is, of course it is. It depends on the attitude of the person who's engaged in the product or service. It really has very little to do with the business model, although that is important. Most network marketing products today are legitimate products and services that are being offered through a number of different people. The attitude of the person who is selling it really is all that matters. Regardless of what the product or service is, 99.9% of these things are going to be legitimate. 99% of these things are going to be valuable to someone. The person who is approaching this as a business has the attitude that it's a business and therefore it is. And that's really what's most important when you start your business, is to have the attitude that it truly is a business, that this isn't something that you're just doing on the side or something you're going to try out and see if it works out for you. You have to treat it like a business. You have to treat it with all the respect it deserves because it has the potential to fundamentally change your life for the better. So I think it's a legitimate business. I, I certainly think that As long as your attitude is that you're engaged in a legitimate business, you've got a legitimate business on your hands. But I'd be interested to know what you think. I'd be interested to know if you think that the model is flawed. I'd be interested to know if you think that it's not a legitimate business and why you don't think it's a legitimate business. Share your comments below. Let's not pick on any particular product or service. No matter what product or service we're talking about, there's going to be people who've had tremendous success and there's going to be people who've had tremendous failures. So let's keep the personality out of it. Let's just find out what people think about legitimate business. Is it a legitimate business in a network marketing product? And is attitude enough to make a legitimate business? Love to have you share your comments below, and I'd love to have you subscribe, share this video with some folks.
