Thank you, Alexandra. Great to be with you.
It's so great to be with you. As you know, I love chatting with you just about everything and interviewing you. So I'm very excited about diving into some wisdom with you today. Cool. And the last time that I actually interviewed you, I was just thinking that I was preparing to get pregnant and now I'm six and a half months pregnant, which is pretty exciting.
That is amazing. That's true. I remember.
Well, so on being pregnant and creating healthy families, you have something called life force families. So could you share with us what a life force family is and how we go about creating a life force family?
Okay. Well, the life force is the intelligent energy that comes from the source of creation, the heart of creation. And so that moves on these interconnected strings like a giant musical instrument. Like if you can imagine, the nature of life is this giant musical instrument with these beautiful strings that carry the resonance of the the source energy, which is intelligent throughout every part of it. So it's like pulsating, vibrating through these strings. And our bodies work like that. Our bodies are literally made up of these strings, these meridians and nadis. And the macrocosmic universe works like this. And so it's this life force that pulses through the whole system that generates and regenerates us, that sustains our well being, that keeps our mind clear, our hearts open. It's basically what we are physical expressions of. So when we think about having children and families, those are likewise micro macrocosmic expressions of the one life. So the one life pulsating this life force. So when we talk about having life force families and life force children, what we are saying is we are bringing our children into the world and raising them from a perspective of consciousness that appreciates that it is this expression of life force through their harp strings or their instrument that is going to ensure their well being, their sharp mindedness, their cleverness, their creativity, their joy. And that together, when we're all in this state of conducting this beautiful life force, we have the highest possible human experience.
Wow, that's amazing. So the life force, we want to have as much life force flowing through us as we prepare to have a child, Is that what you're saying?
Well, if you take two individuals who are clear in this way and conducting well with the interconnected whole of life, meaning that they're breathing deeply good pure air, they're consuming only the purest produce, and they're not taking in GMO foods and thwarting their DNA and all that, they're coming together as great vessels, conduits of life force, then the likelihood of them having an offspring that reflects this is very good. So the more attuned with nature and with. What the universe is doing, pulsating, conducting way, the more attuned that the individuals are to this, the more they and the baby are going to harmonize to that frequency. Which is going to make for not just a healthier baby, but a much more content baby. A baby who knows its place in the world, who feels at home with its parents. It feels that it's not. It's going to live from a place of love rather than a place of fear.
That's awesome. And I love too the vision of a life force child, of really giving a child the best possible foundation that we can for our children to really thrive and like you said, be happy. A lot of the things that children struggle with nowadays. Do you think that's because there isn't that much life force flowing through and we just live in such a toxic world.
It's a combination of the toxins going in and obstructing the body and a lack of knowledge of what really is and how the universe really works. So as the baby becomes a kid and a teenager and its life force is being basically suffocated because it's being the substances it's taking in, both physical and non material things like thought forms and the media emotions that are inharmonious as they start to obstruct the flow of this vitality of this life force. And they're vibrations brought down, they're simultaneously given these directives from the global consciousness, from the sort of the cultural consciousness that are erroneous things about themselves, limitations, things like what matters, what's worth admiring, what you should look like, what to spend your time on, what's cool. So basically they start to. They live their lives in an attempt to be accepted and move within this system that's erroneous and they do so with less vitality. So Less knowledge of themselves. They lose all their ability to know where home is. They're off the pulse now when that happens. So it's basically like throwing your children to the wolves. It's one thing to have a message at home that keeps reiterating and being expression, being an example of the way the universe really works. For example, as parents, it's not so much about telling them they must do X, Y and Z, but just being that example, being a life force parent and then sending them to school or sending them out into the world or to play dates and allowing them to grow up with two perspectives. What I find unfair is when they are just giving one perspective and that is throwing your child to the wolves. It is saying, well, I don't know anything. I was raised the way you are going to be raised in a way. And whether it was good enough for me or not, that's beside the point. I don't know anything better. Here you go. That's just what people do. That's the way they're raised. That's the mindset of the time. Meanwhile, it's a mindset that effectively results in suffering.
It is interesting too because you are saying the sense of home, like they have that feeling of home. And for most of us, even as adults, we don't have that feeling of home and like security and safety in who we are. I know for me, I've had to re educate myself of a whole new way of living and being, which has been rewarding and also very challenging to do in our culture.
Definitely, definitely. It's amazing to me. Sometimes I think about how those of us who've come up and out of that, how we got it in us. Like, where did the impetus come from? I know from my perspective, from my experience, it had a lot to do with the suffering. And I didn't want to deal with the suffering anymore. But how did I not take the path of suicide or of drugs or something else to deal with the fact that I didn't want to deal with the world I was being shown, how did I get out of it and find and pursue something that could actually lift me up and out of amazes me sometimes. It's like we were talking about earlier, the salmon knowing to swim upstream. It's something in the human makeup. Time with the Olympics. It's like what makes people reach for greatness in the midst of mediocrity, you know, and it's something about the human spirit that, you know, may have something to do with my soul. It has to do with Your soul. But it's almost something innate within the way the human spirit operates that at a certain point, certain maybe it's like there was a timer on us or something that was like, there are options, but this is the one option that's going to get you up and out. And so I'm extremely grateful for that moment in time and that human spirit that showed me something different. But, yeah, I think it's extremely hard and it's remarkable when young people who have had no example and really, really just follow their. Follow the sense. It's like they're following some kind of truth vibrations. And they're not even confident necessarily about where it's all going to lead at the time, but they know they have to follow it, and they do. So despite the sort of the raised eyebrows and the teasing and all the other things that make it challenging.
Totally, yes. I'm nodding my head saying yes. I've definitely been on that path of where am I going? I'm not sure, but I can't go that way. This is the only path I see. Okay. And I think as parents, too, that's really important for us, right. To find that courage and find that spirit, to really, really follow our authentic path. And I think a lot of us in general, and especially as parents, are fearful of challenging the status quo. Don't you think?
Yeah, because it's really ingrained in us not to. We're kind of like those dog fences that are invisible, but if the dog goes just kind of starts to break that invisible line and go outside the. They get that shock. And so we've been raised to be. To get that little proverbial shock if we go outside the bounds. And so as parents, if we start to realize that we need to take a look at these boundaries again, we can be prepared for that little shock to occur and know that it's going to be there. I think that's what's most important to understand is when is that just. Because if you know that that shock is going to shock you because it was put there as part of the programming that you received, then you can allow it to come and go and know that it's just doing what it was designed to do, and then you weaken it every time you get shocked and then go beyond it. But when we talk about protecting our kids, I think the most important thing a parent can do is really ask the tough questions and say, why is this. Why do we do things this way in our cult? If they're not working, why are we still doing them.
And then being willing to take steps to do something different, right.
Figure out what would have a different result, more beneficial results. And even if it's not the perfect solution, and even if you're not, there are going to be. I always like to think of it as a bridge. On the one side, there's this paradigm of untruth, this. This paradigm that doesn't work for humans. And then on the other side, there's this paradigm that does work. And there can be several paradigms that do work. Just there are several paradigms that don't work. But between the two is a bridge. So as long as you're on the bridge and you're moving toward a paradigm that does work, even if you're not 100% doing everything perfectly, even if you're still slipping into old patterns, even if you're not noticing half of the programs that you're colluding with, as long as you're on the bridge moving in the direction, even if it's tiny little steps every day, you're doing something really good for yourself and your kids.
I love that too, because as we were talking about earlier, too, the expectations and ideals for a lot of us, we can see the paradigm or the new vision that we want to move into, yet we feel like we should be there like tomorrow. And if we're not, then we're not doing it right and we're horrible parents. So can you talk a little bit more about how we work with our expectations and take the baby step and being willing to kind of open up to the whole divine plan?
Well, you know, I think there's Almin, who I love. She's one of the great modern mystics. She says today's truth may not be tomorrow's truth. So hold onto today's truth lightly. And that means that that way, if you hold on to today's truth lightly, if you get insights tomorrow, you will be able to receive them and integrate them into today's truth so that they serve tomorrow's full purpose best. What I mean by that is it gives us the flexibility of saying, I am ready to integrate this much. I see this much. For example, if you are in a dark room and the doorway opens slightly and the light is cast through the room, you can see that. You can see the light to that degree. But if you feel like you have to have the room blast open with light, all of a sudden, it's just going to be too intense at once and it's not going to probably do you any good because you're probably blinded by the light. So you're blinded by the dark, but then you're blinded by the light. Either way you're blind. So this way you start to enable yourself to adjust to the light and you start to understand what you're being shown. So because there's a lot to integrate once you start to see the way things do, the way the universe works and the interconnected whole, and the fact that our systems are shaped like a tube torus, the way the energy moves and that if we have blockages that we're not going to receive the energy we need, these are really big concepts for the uninitiated. It's like, whoa, I'm not ready to think about that right now. I don't know. I would make sense of that anyway. Besides which, I just want to know when I'm going to get my next meal. So if you can just slowly start to take into consideration the things that do make sense to you that you really can make sense of today. For example, if you know that GMO foods are going to basically totally mess with your DNA and corrupt the codes of your DNA, and that's clear, and that's proven by research, then you can say, okay, well, it doesn't seem that far off. Make sure that we don't have GMO foods in the house because there's a reason that we gave birth to children that we did because we have DNA, that's natural DNA. We don't want it to be encoded with other animals DNA and other things or bacteria. So let's make sure to do that. Wife, husband. Doesn't that sound like a good idea? Sure. Husband. So that sort of thing. And then, and then you might realize that you and or other family members have been constipated for a long time and you start to address that. And when you start to clear that, you start to feel better and you think, well, the baby steps, as long as they're moving at a relatively decent speed because you don't want to stagnate and you don't want to miss out on all the human experience, the value in yourself that you're going to discover the gold. Basically people are going to start to discover that they truly are priceless, that the universal consciousness and specifically the source energy that's conducting through this interconnected grid is of the most remarkable value. It would be impossible to compare to anything material. And when they see the power that that can bring the individual, it's going to be so eye opening. It's going to be like, we're going to look back on this time and think, how did we ever think what we were doing was a good idea? Like culturally we're going to look our culture, our time, the last thousand years is going to look like the biggest joke in history. And the fact that we have the medical science and the institutions directing us, that we do and that we look up to them and give them the respect we do, it's all going to prove completely laughable. But in the meantime, between here and there, there are a few steps, right?
We've got some work to do. That's awesome. So what would you recommend somebody who is listening to this and maybe they are a first time mother, maybe not. But what would you recommend mothers do to physically, mentally, emotionally prepare them for the birth, for becoming a mother, for expanding their family? Do you have any?
Well, coming back down to earth then, because we went way out there for a second. There are the conceptual things and then there are the practical tools. So we just talked about something conceptual and that can be helpful in terms of orienting yourself, like how far does your perspective go? But then it comes down to, okay, well, with what we know, with our perception, our perspective on things, what do we integrate in terms of practical tools to ensure that we have a smooth, happy, healthy family? And that basically comes down to. I like to look at indigenous people when doing this because I think that they are the only ones who can hold the history of what a working model looks like for the human being. Because they didn't progress for millions of years where we were deteriorating in just a few years if they didn't know what they were doing. So their babies weren't screaming, they didn't have the terrible tooth, they didn't have menopausal symptoms, they didn't have infertility, they didn't have osteoporosis, any of this stuff. So what were they doing? Right? And let's apply it to families specifically. First and foremost, there needs to be a healthy relationship, of course, anchoring the family and you know, I guess and in that relationship that anchors the family, there has to be an excellent relationship with the self. So the mother needs to know herself, know her psyche, have cleared up her own sort of the tripwires in her own psyche, the things that cause her to not be sovereign. So that includes, yes, the cultural programs and her habits and patterns that don't serve her highest good. They also are the things that would govern her relationships with others that would create dysfunctional codependent relationships. So is she self abusing in any way, is she over consuming in any way? It could be clothes, it could be food, it could be alcohol, it could be anything. But if there are signs in her life, if she's honest, she'll see that there are things that reveal where aspects of her life need to be harmonized. And she'll go through the work of doing that and so she'll balance herself. And when she does that, she'll find that her relationships don't have a codependent aspect to them. She'll be able to love unconditionally. And this is very powerful because if you love your husband unconditionally, then a couple things are going to happen. First of all, he's not going to feel challenged, he's going to feel loved and he's going to be able to radiate that love back a hundredfold. There's not going to be that cord of disharmony that she feels for him reverberating through the home. And that's one of the things that just ruins kids by the time they are a year old. So her ability to harmonize herself and become an anchor to the universe and have the life force flowing through her, the life force is really love, but it's expressing. It expresses as intelligence, expresses as compassion, expresses as vitality, expresses in all these different ways. But the life love force, you can call it the force from the source. If she has that predominantly running through her now, it may not be perfect every day, but the times when it gets a bit wonky, if she can witness that, see where it's coming from, and if it's something she has to deal with because it can get the better of her, then she must deal with it. So if she can get herself in that space, then the people around her will feel that she will be loving them unconditionally. So starting with her husband. And then there won't be the resentment and the tit for tat, the I will love you, I love you so long as you do this. And the husband says, well, that's great because I love you so long as you do this now stop doing this or that and I'm out of here. That's what a codependent relationship is. It's built on crutches. So that's the first thing there has to be. And if there's no partner in the scene, there are, make no mistake, other relationships that are in that person's life, they're going to be in that baby's life. So if it's not a partner in raising the child, then it's all the other relationships that will play a role in the child's life. And there's nothing that's going to impact the child's growth and understanding of the world around it more than the immediate relationships it sees. And if it can learn unconditional love and, and diplomatic understanding of relationships that truly take into consideration the appreciation one to the other, then it will very immediately learn the interconnectedness of life. Because interdependency is the relationship that it's the relationship that's for the highest good of all. So it basically means I see your differences, I honor your differences, your differences make everything work. So I'm this way, you're that way, and we're different. That's awesome. Because we need every kind of different thing to make things work. So you know, it would be like the rose saying to the bacteria, I think you're beautiful bacteria, you know, because somebody has to be the bacteria, the good bacteria. And so that's the cornerstone. I think if we're going to be honest, we have to start there. And then if there's a sense of self honoring and mutual worth and appreciation, you're not going to have wrathful kinds of experiences, antagonism. If you honor the self and you're filled with life force and love and compassion, you're not going to self abuse. You're not going to grow up to be a kid who has to numb himself and feed his face with garbage food. Now at the same time we look at this life force family and say, well, if they know how the human being and body and systems operate, then those things won't be in the house to begin with. Now there are caveats because as children get older, there needs to be an ability for them to express their own life course. And that might include things that you would rather them not. And to a certain extent you can control that. But if controlling that takes things off its axis a little bit, it can create a wonky situation that can lead to again, the codependency. I only love you if you have these things in the house that I want to eat or if you let me watch these shows that you don't want me to watch. I don't get why you think, you know, PG 13 movies are bad. Because all my other my friends are allowed to watch them. I mean, this is all the stuff that then is the reality that comes up. So you know, the parents who are understanding the life force and the anchoring, it's not for them to bend their perception and change what they believe, because the kids throwing this modern kind of, this is the way the world works. Now, in your face, you know how the world works. Now, that's why you don't operate in that realm, because you know it creates suffering. But I think the only advice I could give to parents who are starting to feel that and encounter that is to hold their center, maintain their beliefs, and be an example. While they may adjust the rules in the house in order to compensate for lessons that their child might need to learn. Now, that's a very delicate dance because there's. On the one hand, the child might need to go deep into the world of materialism and erroneous thinking and all kinds of things that the parents wouldn't want in order for them to learn the lessons that they came here learned. On the other hand, by enabling the child to go into this erroneous territory, they're also opening the door for the child to have experiences that might not be for the child's highest good. So that's where parenting becomes like. It makes your brain hurt because you really, I should say conscious parenting. Like when you really, if you really are honest, a conscious parent isn't just going to stick to their beliefs. They're going to see things in a much broader perspective and be able to weigh the pros and cons of all these life choices, even the ones that don't seem to be positive at the time. But there has to be room for that. And there also has to be room for the parent not to feel like they have to make the right choice every time, because they have to accept that they're just there to be. I mean, I like to think of parents as the protector of the child and the supporter. Love is implicit in that. So you love the child, you protect the child, and you support the child. Meaning that support, meaning that you try to see everything about the child, what it's here to do, its ability to express the talents that it has, the talents, sort of the aspects that need greater development. And then you make sure you do all you can to help that bud flower completely. And that's really what our job is. Because children don't belong to us. We're just their caretakers. In many ways, it may be better to think of as their big brothers or sisters.
Right. Well, I like that too, with the like being a demonstration of it and then also just supporting them and being willing to step out of our rules and our dogma and our beliefs of how we think it should be and being willing to hold that space for them, I can only imagine the challenge of holding that, knowing there is suffering out there. And you are like, that path doesn't work. Drinking and all that, that doesn't work.
Holding the space is a beautiful way of putting it because what it means is that they are always going to feel like their North Star is in sight. And it is kind of just, it is anchoring them basically without smothering them.
I like that. And I think in our culture too, and I don't know about indigenous cultures, but I would imagine they are not smothering their children. But in our culture it's very like manipulating, micromanaging and just kind of like hovering over our children.
Exactly. Because we're taught such a. We're taught operations, we're not taught feeling. So we feel like if we're going to keep them safe, we're going to. But the irony is that you can micromanage your children and then they're not really safe because they have no sense of self sovereignty. They haven't learned how to trust themselves, they haven't learned how to have healthy relationships with others or themselves. And so they wind up going on a drunken binge, getting in a car with someone. They make bad choices that endanger them profoundly. But in the meantime, you've been on top of them knowing sort of where they are, who their friends are and all these things. But you can't help the things that you're never going to know because they don't even know. They don't even know how to interpret their own lives at that point.
Right. Again, I love too what you're talking about, the cornerstone of the family or of the relationship of the parents and like a woman knowing herself and then the parents having a strong foundation for the child. I just feel intuitively as you're talking about it that that gives the ground for a child to really be able to explore and learn to trust themselves knowing that they have healthy, loving parents supporting them.
Yeah. And I'm sure that many a woman will listen to this and become tearful because she will be alone in her desires for her children and her ability to see the world clearly. And maybe it's a husband who feels that his wife doesn't get it and see it and share the vision. But that is difficult. It doesn't mean that it's not doable. It just means that there is going to have to be a very intense self respect and an understanding that the people around her, they are both there to give each other gifts and that they are both there to Learn from each other, to learn how to respect, how to love, how to understand the suffering that is unrealized because of. Basically if somebody doesn't get it, it's because they just don't see the connection between the cause and the effect. So the husband might be a workaholic and not connecting the dots of his own suffering as he feels disconnected to himself. So he has got to throw himself into his work they just haven't seen yet. Don't throw in the towel. Don't try not to let it get you down too much because it is very sad to think that there is the potential to raise a child and have a family with a mutual understanding that's shared and it not getting to. And the person who wants it so badly not getting to enjoy it, but having the opposite, which can be so draining.
Yeah, totally. And then the feeling of, well, as you were just saying that even having it be draining and somebody not seeing eye to eye but having that is. I'm always fascinated when people are focusing all on the nursery and the crib and as they're preparing for a baby, like the baby's clothes and things like that. That just seems shocking to me that you wouldn't focus on the relationship like if you had a draining or challenging relationship. The nursery is not that important. This relationship and me learning how to love this human being and support this human being and have a flourishing relationship seems to be the most important thing.
Yeah, it's so much easier to go out and buy baby furniture.
Totally. Good point.
But also, in order to change relationships, people need to change themselves. And in the same way that it's always easier to organize somebody else's closet rather than your own. It's really easy to point out what's wrong in somebody else's role in the relationship rather than your own. But there's nothing more satisfying than changing yourself. It's one of those things that seems so daunting because the problem with most people not being able to change themselves is they can't see what they are doing wrong. They can't see their own role in what's not working in the relationship. They'll hear what their partner is saying is the mistake they're making in the relationship. But that's also through the verbal filter of the partner who's at that point exasperated. They're unfulfilled, they're in a codependent relationship, and this person is not fulfilling their. Their agreement in their relationship. So you can't always trust what your partner is saying. Often this is where you need some really good professional work, but not always traditional professional work, or you can do your own professional work, which is, I like the recapitulation exercises. I find that the most helpful, which is basically to go over the course of your entire life and you make a list of all the things, all the experiences that have been impactful, the messages they would have sent to your younger self, the different programs that may have been embedded into your thinking and your reactions because they're the cultural's kind of imprint or the culture imprint, cultural imprint. And just to start really dissecting everything you believe to be true. And you will start to realize that you are operating from, probably are operating from a very inauthentic place and that you probably are full of pride and full of all these things that are just so much easier when they go. If you are unforgiving about certain things you held on to, certain things you have witnessed your parents relationship. So if you can really go over every single thing you have ever been exposed to, all the experiences you have had in your life, including all the relationships that you've witnessed, everything that you've just taken in, because we're like little sponges, especially when we're young. And so if you can figure that out and get to the bottom of what might be holding you back and your ability to love freely, to respect freely, to understand freely, then once you remove that blockage, chances are the partner, your partner will reflect that back to you immediately. And if it's impossible to fix a relationship after you've done that, well, then at least you know you've done everything you can do because you can't change someone else, but you can change the relationship by changing yourself totally.
Yeah, it's amazing how you can. For me, every time I feel triggered about anything, it's like, okay, there's always a different perspective. Like I'm looking at it from my past and my wounds and my perspective. But there are other ways of looking at it. That's been the biggest thing for me because like you said, I wanted to be right and have my pride. And that's hard to let go sometimes.
Yeah, you have to know what makes you tick. And if you can figure out what makes you tick, you can see where your error is and easily rectify it. Or not so easily, but at least make the effort to do so. Or at least say to the other person, you know, I think I'm onto something. I think I'm beginning to see what I'm doing that's off. And I don't want to do it. So if you can lovingly help me grow out of this pattern, it would be great for both of us. And then they'll be like, whoa, really?
I love you already just for saying that and willing to have like the. I know for me my process has been humility or that I don't look as perfect. Especially with my husband. I wouldn't admit things sometimes because I.
Was like, oh, then I might be.
A bad person or have a fault. But every time I admit, like, okay, I know I do this and I know it's not great, he loves me even more. So I'm like, okay, this is great.
Yeah, it's true. And you start to get that feedback and you realize it's actually more fun and easier to grow out of old unserving patterns than you thought it would be.
Totally. So how do we support, as we are talking about the relationships and how do we support our children to follow their own authentic path and be sovereign and strong and powerful in who they are?
First of all, I think it's helpful to really pay attention to what makes your child tick so that you can see things through their eyes rather than through your own eyes. And that immediately removes the whole expectation thing because most people see other people.
Through their own eyes.
They think, well, if this is my ambition, this is the right ambition for me, so I need to teach it to my child because this is going to be the right ambition for them. So for example, I might say to me that I place a very high value on self governance and compassion. And if my child isn't exhibiting that, he or she has picked up on that because I have been an example of that and they should be picking up on it. If they are my child and exhibiting that themselves, then someone has failed here and it can't be me because I've been the example. But from their perspective, their life is about something different. They don't really have a problem with compassion, so they're not making a big deal about it. And they are pretty self governance might not be a big thing for them. Maybe they got that down enough to not be focused on it or. But they're focused on something else. Like maybe trying to understand power, trying to figure out how power works, whether it comes from beauty or from material things or from wealth. Try and figure out what your child is fixated on. Because we come into this world trying to figure things out and we all have different things we're trying to figure out. If you can get into their head a little bit and Figure out what they're here to figure out or at least in the stage of their life what they're trying to figure out in this phase, then you can be much more effective at supporting them, at guiding them and helping them actually figure out what they may be trying to figure out. I forget what your question was, but I think I'm done with the answer.
I think that was awesome. On how to support them into stepping into their own kind of life. In many ways I love that what you said too, that we have our certain kind of why we are here and then our children have our own what they are here for and how do we support that and not put our own stuff, put our stuff on our children?
Yeah, because it is kind of like a project. Once you finish your project, you get to start another one. And I think people, if they get too stuck on the same project, they get too self. You know how it happens when you keep chewing on the same thing? You can't see anything. You can't see the forest of the trees sort of thing. Well, if you can help support them, figure out what they are trying to figure out, then they can solve that riddle more readily and then be on to the next thing. And then they get the thrill of achievement, of discovery, of creativity and they get wired for that rather than being wired for frustration, for gnawing on something. And also I think really helpful just in general is to help help kids keep looking eyes out. Because one of the biggest downward spiral causes of the downward, downward spiral, meaning like just getting into bad patterns and habits is when you become too self focused. So kids who are looking eyes in on themselves are going to suffer a lot in so many different ways. So if you can keep your kids eyes focused out on the world, what are they seeing? How are they interpreting things? Can they see the life experience of somebody else? Are they seeing the joy, the suffering as much as they can pay attention to the world? Not so much that they are watching the world like a movie. I don't mean to be distracted by the stimulation of the external world. That's not what I mean. I mean they need to be, they need to be paying, they need to. How can I put this? I'm sorry, I'm struggling to convey this idea. If they're focused on themselves, they're just going to turn their energy inward and they're going to be self critical and they're going to be thinking about only their needs and what's next for them as opposed to witnessing the world.
And as you were just saying, that just being engaged in the world. Do you think that how much kids are playing with computer games and television and things like that? They're not engaging in the world.
Yeah, in the world. I guess I'm using the term loosely. But there's the world, the natural world that I was referring to. Like the world that. To help them understand their world, to understand how people. People work, to feel people's emotions just by observing. I guess the term I'm looking for when looking out into the world is observation. To notice things, to pay attention, to be awake and not self focused. Then there's the world, the culture, and that's sort of the. What do you call it? The, the facade that which. The sort of material facade that's pulled down as a veil between the natural world and the child. So that's the hypnosis. That's what they're seeing and believing and buying into and interacting with. It's super harmful. But at the same time it's an amazing learning tool because. Because if we can think that if our kids are coming into this, they're choosing to come into such a challenging environment because they're going to have the biggest growth leaps they could possibly ask for. And they probably asked for it. I think the kids choose their parents, they choose their situation, they choose so many things because it provides the perfect environment for them for their soul to evolve.
Yeah, I love that you've talked about it before too. Really that it takes a little bit of responsibility off of us as parents in many ways that our children are coming in and they have kind of their own life to live. And it's not like we need to blame ourselves for everything or try to be perfect. Just really enjoying the process.
Yeah, yeah. That's the most important thing. Just have fun with your kids. I was thinking recently about how much we could be teaching our children that are things that aren't even taken into consideration subjects in school. But yet we get so focused on school subjects that we wind up not even talking to them about these things because it takes up so much of our time and there's so much pressure even for the best life force parents out there to keep their kids on a certain scholastic schedule and meanwhile it's undermining so many other aspects of the.
Child.
Because those things aren't paid attention to. And often they're made to feel inadequate because they're not doing well enough in certain subjects. But yet maybe we're woefully inadequate because we're not educating them in what matters. And maybe we should be given. Maybe the scholastic things, because we lack innovation, aren't penetrating them the way they could be. Maybe we're just stupid the way we're teaching them. And they could be learning that and so much more if we knew, if we had a more innovative structure for that. Sometimes when I get too caught up in those kinds of things, the academic stuff, because my older kids are 10 and 12, the baby won't be in school for a while. But there are so many hours taken up in the school day. And then they come home and they've got so much homework. And then it just occurs to me like, I just need to enjoy my children. There are going to be frustrations and plenty, but what about is a day going to go by that I don't enjoy, just enjoy that they are the coolest human beings I know. They are the ones I would choose to hang out with above everyone else. And I just want to laugh with them and have fun with them and get to be with them and conduct with them, get to have this life force exchange. Our families are our opportunity. They are the, the people we get to conduct with.
That's so beautiful. And I love that too, the conducting. Obviously you're an expert in nutrition. Can you talk a bit how important it is for our nutrition and our lifestyle to be healthy so that we can have that energy and that life force to conduct. Because I know a lot of people feel exhausted, like they can't even see the joys of their children or their babies because they're nutrition and they are just not having that life force and they're just like missing out on the connection and the conductivity that's possible.
Yeah, it's so true. And the one thing I would say most importantly is that educate yourself and take the time to rectify the mistakes in your body, the things that aren't working, the things that are blocked. Even if it means you're not with your kids while you're doing that. Because you have to get yourself right. You have to get the obstruction out so that the life force can flow within you. Otherwise you won't be able to teach them what it is. And it will only be a theoretical thing, kind of like in organized religion. There is a certain understanding of faith, and this shouldn't be faith based in that way. This should be a visceral experience that you have that you know, you can trust and that is real. So, you know, rectify your physicality from all that you've done to, you know, to wreck it. And once that's done, then you have to make the time to maintain that state of being because otherwise, you know, it'll just go back to the way it was. So I think everyone will have a different opinion on this. But I think it's 100% okay to make time to meditate, make time to chop up a beautiful salad, hopefully for everybody. But even if you're the only one eating it and everyone else thinks you're silly to jump on your rebounder or go for a long walk in the mountains or do whatever it is that you need to do to connect with the universal source. Because if you don't have that running through you mind, heart, body, spirit, then you're never going to be able to make an imprint on your kids because they're just going to be like, oh, well, my mom, dad, they talk about that sort of thing a lot, but they don't really do it because really, you know what somebody believes because it's what they do. So if you say you believe one thing, but then you're attuned to the world, to the culture and everything that you actually do, then your kids are only going to see what you do. And you obviously don't believe it enough to turn your back on the culture, at least to a certain degree, or lovingly turn your back on the culture and say, I'll be there to help. Let me just figure things out here. But I really don't want to collude with this anymore because it doesn't work and do what you know to be true. It has to happen. So. But having said that, there are a lot of things that you can do with your kids, like jumping on your rebounder or exercising in the house. Whatever you do to get your chi flowing, certainly your children can be in the same room. You could be playing their favorite songs and getting a sense of. It's a great chance to get a sense of what they are listening to. You may be shocked, but you might want to have a listen because you want to know what's going on while you exercise. Maybe there are so many things your children can be around you. You don't have to shut the door to them when you're doing these things. But if you need some peace, you need some alone time, because you have to be centered, then you must do that too. Because there's no good calling yourself a leader of a household if you're not truly sovereign. If you're being told this way and that by the world, then the world is leading your family. You're not leading your family Right.
And why do you think it's so challenging? I mean, as you're just talking about it now, it makes sense. But I know I've talked to a lot of mothers and it seems really challenging for women to incorporate this type of healthy lifestyle and self care into.
Their life because they're living backward, they're doing everything that's a non necessity and putting everything that's a necessity at the end of the line, at the end of the list. So it never gets done. So it's because their worldview hasn't shifted enough for the to see. As I said before, eventually we're going to look back on this time. We're going to see that the true gold was in the universal energy, not in working a few extra hours, getting paid a little bit more to spend more on things you don't need that you're going to be paying your debts on. It's so incredibly backward. If you say I'm going to get to these things after I've made sure that my body is full of gold and I'm radiating that and that I'm filled with love and my children are going to feel that, then your priorities are upside down. But the problem is that you really have to believe that in the face of everyone else being like, what are you doing? The laundry needs to be done, the building needs to be paid. Why are you laying on an inversion board meditating? And what are you going to say?
You got to be prepared with the answer.
And that answer can just be like a gesture, a single finger gesture.
But you have to be ready, right? And then we have to be confident in that we're doing the right thing. Because I know for me it's been a process of I need the proper amount of sleep, the right nutrition, like fresh air. These things are like vital to me. To feel happy and loving and people questioning and you're like, am I, if you, am I crazy? Am I taking too much time? You have to have that strong commitment to yourself, right?
Absolutely. You have to be able to see what other people can't see. For example, I don't know, 100 years ago they would have laughed at the idea that we would be buying bottles of water. It's water, it comes from a spring. If you don't protect that spring, if it isn't of value to you, then you are going to contaminate that spring and then flash forward 100 years, you need to buy bottled water now.
The same thing is happening with earthing.
And people buying dirt. It's so Backwards. You have to know what is of value and pursue that. And there's no question the people that do that and figure it out have a fruitful life. Their fruits might not be the fruits that someone else is looking for. Because the person who is looking for material stuff and value isn't going to perceive your day in the glorious late afternoon sun, soaking up the rays into your bloodstream to just bring healing to all of your organs as anything of value. They've got their SPF on and they've got their hat on and they're in their big mansion with their beautiful air conditioned cars waiting out front. But that's because you guys aren't perceiving value to be the same thing. So I guess what it comes down to is the mother has to say, I declare this to be a value. I genuinely believe this to be a value. So I need to pursue a lifestyle that reflects that value. And when I walk through the world and I see people not valuing that or valuing other things, I need to remind myself it's really easy to be tempted into thinking that it's not a value. But note to self, it really is because you need to have little other reinforcements in play. Because it's very hard, especially a single person amongst a sea of people who believe differently to maintain your focus. But if you keep on going back and forth, you are going to become insane. Right?
And to be like a life force mom, a life force parent, have a life force family, I mean it is like a revolutionary act in today's modern world, isn't Is?
But at the same time, at this turning point where if you had asked me that question five years ago, I would have said, yeah, it really is. Now it's more like we're getting across. It's never going to be as hard as it is now because more and more, whether it's they may be coming from some misguided perceptions, like it might be that they're coming to this into a greater awareness because they're pursuing gluten free for their kids or their child has asthma or various allergies or ADD or something like that. But the fact is that there's so many of these imbalances that are calling moms to look for specialty products, they're getting them into the health food stores, they're having them getting them to read books they wouldn't ordinarily read. It's a rapidly growing awareness among moms. And I think in five years from now they say this is the hardest it's ever going to be. It will only be easier in the next five years. But five years from now, I think it's going to have exponentially. The numbers will have exponentially increased of moms who get it. And it won't feel like sort of this isolation feeling that they are the only ones in their community doing it. It won't last for too much longer.
Yeah, that's great. And I have deep gratitude for you and for a lot of the pioneers before us that have been committed to living this way and kind of paving the way for us to follow in their footsteps so we didn't totally crumble.
Yeah. And, you know, it's very satisfying to get the people who are struggling with it and the moms who are struggling with it. Dads are struggling with it. You know, if you can get out of the sort of that myopic today, I feel this way in 10 years, in 15 years, you are going to be very satisfied by the journey.
So what do you think? The last question. Obviously, you know, I could have like 500 questions, but what are some of the biggest challenges you see in parents really creating a life force family? And what would you recommend to them as they move forward on their life force journey?
Well, I would say education, constantly growing, their understanding of how the universal matrix works and what that means to the actual practices and protocols that they personally and their family at large should be doing and implementing to help them remain aligned with the way the natural world works as opposed to the way the culture works. Don't take your eye off the ball. Stay focused enough on it. Not so that it becomes something that you are obsessed with, not at all, but that it becomes something that you know is a guiding light for your life to consistently improve and also to think about what you want your family to be in the future. So while remaining very present. There's a great saying, look where you're going because that's where you're headed. So if you can think about, go in the opposite direction, think about where you want to be like what you want your family to look like, and then think about what needs to be adjusted to make that happen. And also where your family is being depleted, where its energy is going out the door and not being renewed. So that might be from certain relationships that might be in the family's sphere. It might be too much time on handheld devices. It might be, who knows? It's really hard for me to say what it is, but there are usually things in any individual's life, there are things that leech them, leech the energy. If they can identify those things, they won't have that leech of energy. So what could be undermining your family's energy as a whole? Identify that and try to rectify to the best of your ability. But then to see long term, if you want to have a healthy, happy garden, well, you have to till that soil every day. If you want a healthy, happy family, you need to do the things that genuinely support that. And sometimes they're not always the things that you think they are. It's not about the big family trips and stuff, it's the letting your kid off the hook for taking the stress off them. I think kids, say, feel so much pressure. The most undermining factor, one of the biggest depleters of our energy, is expectation and pressure. And if you have pressure on top of your kid, just know that that's probably more like the straw that's breaking the camel's back because the child has his or her own pressure. Then there's the peer pressure, then there's the teacher's expectations, then there's everything they're seeing in the media that's reflecting back to them what they are, what they're not. They're constantly defining themselves by all these terms. It's so much pressure. So the best gift you can give your kids if you want them to be able to be happy, which ultimately a happy kid is the first thing you want. Not a falsely happy kid, not a kid who is stimulated and is happy and likes you because you just done some things for them, but a kid who is genuinely happy, that is quick to laugh, that can play happily on his own, that makes friends easily, that just enjoys being alive. What more could you want for your child than that? Because what is all the achievement worth that they're not going to enjoy being alive and so just take the pressure off of them if you see it. And now and then, just like we, you know, we want to release, even at the end of the day, you want to, you know, have a salt bath or, you know, wash all the residue of the energies that you've been mixing with off of you. Well, help your child learn how to wash themselves of the expectations and the pressures so they can maintain their natural joy and they will love you for that.
That's awesome. Beautiful, beautiful vision too. I love that too. The expectations and pressure and that's what we all want. I love that you brought that up. We all want our children to be happy. That's the most important thing. So how do we do that?
You'll have some people saying, no, I just want my kids to go to Yale. I don't care if they're happy. I just want them to Ivy League institutions.
For the most part. I think for most of the people listening are probably like, yeah, a happy kid. Maybe they are straight A's. That's wonderful. Well, thank you so much for your wisdom.
