Welcome to episode 252. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. If you are a frequent flyer on the podcast, or a Jesus fanatic as we like to call each other, you will have known that I have done Many Are Called and Few Are Chosen for the last probably 5 or 6 episodes. And I am here to announce I'm done with that. Sometimes I get on something like a dog on a bone, and I just want to make sure that we have the idea, because I'm just trying to stay within a 10 or 12 minute episode time frame, and it's hard to teach a complex idea in 10 minutes. And I'm not saying that this was a complex idea, but it had a few moving parts. Well, I am moving on, and this is going to be more of a placeholder, and this is really specifically for my fanatics out there. And we are officially in a beta testing phase of the Christian community that I'm trying to build out. And if you've listened to the podcast, you know that I've struggled. And you'll also know that I am a ready, fire, aim personality type. I don't know if you are a thinker or if you've got to have everything just all drawn out before you get started. I am of the opinion that done is better than perfect. But the problem with that idea is you jump off in the middle of something and you don't realize how big a something that you've jumped in the middle of. And I have struggled— that is probably an understatement of what's been going on. I have spent the last month trying to get this site together. I've been 3 different websites and 3 different areas that I've tried to build this thing out because there's like 3 or 4 different things that I want to have available and for whatever reason, I have not been able to get it the way I wanted it. But you are officially here, and if you're listening to this probably in the month of March, this is a beta test month, and I'm going to allow this cart to be open even though it's a 30-day course, and we're going to drip feed this course out every day. And I have, with life being getting involved, I've got some issues with my family and it's nothing that needs prayer. It's just life issues. I mean, nobody's in trouble or anything like that. I'm probably dealing with the same things you're dealing with. We have aging parents and we have children having children, and it's just all of the stuff that has this wonderful stuff that has to do with being alive. And I'm in the middle of it. And so with all of that said, and having a career and having kids and having a spouse and living a life, there's a lot of things that have gotten in the way. And the scripture that I want to use on this podcast is Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." That is an appropriate scripture for this if we define sin as missing the mark. And my mark was February 1st that this class would be up. Here it is almost March 1st, and I've got it up. I've still got another day to get this thing live. It is a mess. I feel like it's a big old yarn ball and it's all, it's all tangled up, but it will be working. Something's going to be working. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind. And then the next thing is there's gonna be a 365-day Bible reading plan that you're gonna have available to you. And it's clickable and you can keep track each month. You can go in, you're on March 2nd, you can see what you're supposed to be reading on March 2nd. And if you're listening to this or looking at it on July 2nd, there's gonna be specific Old Testament and New Testament scriptures that you need to read. And whatever day you start, you can just start reading the Bible because the Bible is not like your regular book. It is written in different books and chapters, but you can pick it up and read just about any— it's the Word of God. So you just ask the Holy Spirit, "Hey, help me with this," and we'll just get in the middle of that. The final item of the course is the physical— the Kingdom of God physical activity spreadsheet. And I've talked about this before, but you will have access to that as well. And you'll be able to download all these. You'll be able to download a copy on your, on your own computer, on your phone, and you can have it. And regardless if you refund the course or whatever, you will have this forever and always. It'll be something that you can use and something that you can do. This is my way of saying thank you and my way of connecting because you You know I've struggled with being able to talk to you via the podcast, and this Christian community, in my mind, I've got it pictured to where people, like-minded believers, can get together and we can talk and visit and we can exchange different ideas. And hey, I'm struggling with this, or hey, I've got this, or I need some help with that. I think it's gonna be a really pretty cool little place once it gets built out. But it's in its infancy stages as well. There's just a really a shell of a membership site, and it is not a Facebook and it is not a Google product. This is a standalone Christian community site to where you can have communications with other believers. This is not just you and I talking, but if you get in and have a relationship with somebody in there and y'all hit it off y'all can have a conversation inside this community. I think it's going to be really pretty cool. This is a work in process, and it is a labor of love. And I've said multiple times that I want to build God's kingdom, and I think that the best way to do that is get people into the word of God. And I think the best and easiest way is just to show you how I kind of get into the Bible I pick one verse and then I just stay on that verse and then I find other verses that associate with that verse and it waters the word that I'm trying to get into my soul. And you'll see during this class, but I just want to encourage you to go do that, go get after this. And it's not perfect, and that's why I use Romans 3:23, for all have sinned. This is not perfection. This is just getting in the middle of it, and it's called Correction.
