In this solo YouTube monologue, Greg Ryan, founder of the Jesus Mighty Men ministry, walks viewers through the purpose of the website’s "Don't Donate" page. He explains that the ministry does not solicit direct monetary donations; instead, it offers an Amazon affiliate banner that earns a small commission (about 5%) on purchases made after clicking the link, which he frames as a way for supporters to contribute without spending extra money. Ryan emphasizes his primary goal is to help, encourage, and teach people, positioning the ministry as a service rather than a fundraising operation. He acknowledges the need for sustainable income and announces plans for a paid membership site that will provide deeper engagement and a closed discussion group. Throughout, he adopts a contrarian, humorous tone, noting that many Christian ministries prominently feature donation buttons, whereas he deliberately avoids that approach. He concludes by inviting viewers to explore the page further and expresses eagerness to connect with the audience.

¡Hey! This is Greg Ryan with Jesus Mighty Men. Congratulations, you found the "Don't Donate" page. Now, I think we're a little bit different in a ministry sense that we're not going to ask you for money. Now, there are ways that you can contribute to the ministry. We've got an Amazon banner. If you're familiar with Amazon at all, if you purchase things from there, they, they allow businesses and nonprofits to have a little banner and direct traffic to Amazon. And if you purchase a product from Amazon after you've clicked on our banner, Amazon gives me credit. So, and then they'll send me a little bit of money, 5% of your purchase. And the cool thing about Amazon is it doesn't come out of your money, or it comes out of Amazon's money. So Amazon's really giving me money. So If what you want to do is support this ministry, just click on the Amazon button and go get you a flat-screen TV or get you some vitamins or whatever it is that you're purchasing. Amazon will say that I sent you, which, I mean, technically I might have, but they're going to pay me. So if you want to give this ministry some money, just click on the Amazon button. But enough of that. I put the "Don't Donate" button on there because I've seen a lot of Christian ministries and Christian organizations that the first thing, the prominent button is the donate. And I don't want that to be my primary focus. What I want to do is I want to help you. I want to encourage you. I want to build you up. And if I can do that for free, I'm a Christian businessman, so I'm kind of doing this as my ministry. I mean, God gave me a few gifts. One of them is a teaching gift, and it's incredible some of the things God gives me in my mind. And so what I try to do is get it to you. And it says freely you receive, freely give. So what I'm gonna do is I'm just gonna, I'm gonna put some of that stuff out there. Now I am gonna have a membership site because I can't keep— I've tried to do things over the years for free and it, I just found that it, you know, I've gotta go make a living like everybody else. So if this is something that you enjoy, something that you want to dive a little bit deeper in, I'm gonna give you the opportunity to join a closed group that we can have further discussions and drop— hey, I have a tendency, if you'll see, that I tend to ramble on a little bit, and so I want to cut this video off. The Don't Donate page and button is there specifically because of probably my distorted sense of humor or the way I see things. I look at the way everybody else is doing it, and I have a tendency to try to I mean, I guess I'm more of a contrarian, I guess if that's the word, but I tend to go the other direction. If I see everybody going this way, I tend to go that way. So if you want to go that way with me, well, just dig around the page and we'll figure out a way to keep this thing going. But thank you for stopping by again. My name is Greg Ryan with Jesus Mighty Men, and I look forward to meeting all of you.
