In this YouTube monologue, Greg Ryan of Jesus Mighty Men addresses Christians who struggle with fear and anxiety, asserting that such emotions stem from a "spirit of fear" that is not from God. He emphasizes the reality of the spiritual realm, citing scriptures such as 2 Timothy 1:7, John 10:10, Romans 12:1, and James 4:7 to argue that believers are called to submit to God and resist the devil. Ryan introduces a practical, step‑by‑step 30‑day program called “30 Days to Destroy Fear Using the Bible,” which centers on two core actions: (1) daily submission to God as a living sacrifice, and (2) actively resisting the devil (the “punk”) by binding fear in Jesus’ name. He urges viewers to pick a side—good (Jesus) or evil (the devil)—and to engage with his channel through likes, shares, and enrollment in the class. The video blends theological teaching with motivational exhortation, aiming to equip Christians with a scripturally grounded method for overcoming fear and experiencing abundant life.

If you are a Christian and you are fearful or anxious about anything, I believe you may be being misled by the punk. Hey, I'm Greg Ryan with Jesus Mighty Men, and I want to talk to you real quick today about fear and anxiety and how we can overcome that. And it's simple if we go to the scripture, 2 Timothy 1:7, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Paul is telling you and I that if we're walking around with fear and anxiousness and nervousness and anxiety all day, every day, that's not from God. There is a spirit, and I don't know if you're a little squishy on this spirit realm thing, we need to get unsquishy because it is a real deal. That is where God is. He is in the spirit realm. The words that I speak are spirit and they are life. Those that worship my Father, they must worship him in spirit and in truth. God the Father is a spirit. Jesus' words are spirit and life. Jesus is the Word of God, but the Word is spirit. And I— we need to get— we need to embrace the fact that there is a spirit realm and a physical realm. And the spirit of fear is running rampant today, and we need to kick it out of our lives. In fact, I've got a program. If you can imagine, then the reason that I'm coming here, I have been challenged to do 30 days on YouTube. I'm going to build this channel up. I have decided that we are going to kick Satan in the teeth. I hate him. He's a punk. Evil is not what we should be dealing with. God has not given us that spirit of fear. And Jesus said in John 10:10, the thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy, but I have come that they may have life and have it more abundant. And I am talking about the abundant life here on this channel. I'm talking about getting into the word of God and allowing the word of God to get into you. And I am just an ordinary guy who serves an extraordinary God. And he is wonderful, he's loving, he's kind, he has no problem with you being you. He gave you free will. We're gonna get into that on this channel, but today I wanna talk about fear and what we can do to destroy the fear in your life. I've got a class, 30 Days to Destroy Fear Using the Bible, and it's a 30-day step-by-step how I deal with it. And I'm not saying that I've got this all figured out, but I'm saying that the Bible has certain things in the word that will help you and I get fear out of our life. And the first thing we need to do is submit ourselves to God. We go to Romans 12:1, and I go by memory. I'll put the scripture up on the screen so that you can read it, but I've put this thing, I've planted this incorruptible seed in my heart,. And so I can pull this thing out, and that's why I encourage you to do. But Paul says in Romans 12:1, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable, which is our reasonable service. And then we go to James 4:7, if you have submitted yourself to God, a living sacrifice, we can then go to James 4:7 And it says, submit yourself therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. If you think of these two things, we're going to submit every day. We're going to crawl up on God's altar and we're going to submit ourselves to God. We're going to present ourselves a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable, which is our reasonable service. So that's what our— that's step number one. Step number 2 is then resist the punk. What we do is we don't say, dear devil, please leave us alone. No, we say, devil, get out of my life. Fear, I bind you up in Jesus' name and I cast you out. And that's how we get this thing started. And we're gonna have to pick a side. If you are here watching this video on my channel, we're gonna pick good or we're gonna pick evil. There's two sides. There's the punk who comes to steal, kill, and destroy, and there's Jesus with abundant life. Pick a side. And that's all I'm saying. If you'll find the link in this video to the class that I've just created, it's 30 Days to Destroy Fear. Again, I just want to thank you for being a part of this. Hit the like button if you like this and let some other people know about it. I am getting back into the middle of this YouTube thing, and I am excited. And then if you'll go to this— I think it's up in this corner, I, I don't know, somewhere up here, somewhere up there— I'm going to put up the next video in the series when I get it posted, and you'll have access to it. Again, thank you for being a part of this channel.
