No Doubt No Fear Only Believe: Christian Podcast Bible Study

Greg Ryan teaches from the story of the twelve spies sent to Canaan, contrasting Caleb and Joshua's faith against the ten who doubted. He argues believers have a "spirit like Caleb" and the "mind of Christ" to fight spiritual battles, and that God, not individuals, is the true combatant against Satan.

Hey, Greg Ryan here, Christian podcaster and Bible study teacher. I am here to help you get stronger in the Lord, to encourage, empower, and inspire you to get into his word. That's the whole reason I'm here. But the people, you know, I was thinking, you know, I haven't really told people who this is for and who this isn't for. If you are not trying to get closer to God, if you're not struggling with some area of your life with fear or doubt or unbelief, then you're probably not gonna— you're probably just— I'm just a yahoo and you're like, just move on. But if what you're struggling with, if you're struggling with all the fear that everything's coming down on you and all of the doubt and all the unbelief, I'm just here just a little. I'm gonna do a little video every day just to try to lift you up, try to encourage, empower, and inspire you to get through one more day. I was looking back and I was praying and asking God, you know, what's a good place to start? And I think it's in Numbers Back when, if you remember, when they sent the 10 or 12 spies out and you had the 10 spies that gave the negative report and, and really plunged the whole Israeli nation into 40 years of the desert wandering wilderness until God purged all of that negativity and all of that stuff out. But there were 2 spies, there were 2 spies that gave a good report. And what God said about those 2 spies is what I think is the whole— if you are going to be part of this channel, in order for you to really enjoy this, because I'm telling you, I'm nobody. And we'll get into the next episode or the next video of the nobodiness and why I believe that I've been called. And I can point to a scripture that tells me that God has called me to do this. And so, but that's the next episode. But I want to tell you, it's What God said to Caleb and to Joshua, and that's found in Numbers, and I'm not sure, 14 or 15, somewhere in there where they had sent the spies out, and I'll put it in the notes, but he sent the spies out and Joshua and Caleb said, Caleb really said, "We are well able," because he knew it was God that was going to fight the battle. And that's what I want to encourage you. It's not you that's going to fight the battle. If you're trying to fight Satan and all this doubt and fear on your own, you're going to get your butt kicked. But if what you're doing, if you will lean on God and let God fight the battle, I mean, he's going to want you to do something, but you know, it's all about God. But God said, and this is what I wanted you to hear, Caleb has a different spirit about him. And so you have the exact same spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead living on the inside of you, and we just need to pull that thing out. You've got so much inside of you. You have got so much power, and you've got so much love, and you've got all of that, the mind of Christ. There is so much that you have that you're probably not— and present company included— that we're not using. And when I start teaching and when I'm talking, I'm talking more to me than I am to you. I'm telling you, the more I get in the word of God and the more I start teaching, the more I learn, and the more I start changing my life. So the Word of God, I'm not just here to preach at you. I'm here to tell you I'm a Christian businessman that's not afraid to get in the Bible. And I want to encourage you to get in the Bible because God says that we are kings and priests. So the kings go out there and kick the snot out of the enemy and bring the spoils back into the priest. So everybody's got— there's no stepchildren with God. I'm sorry, that's a rabbit I'm chasing, but somebody needed to hear that. We are kings and priests, and we all have a role, we all have a part of the body, and I want to encourage you to get in and let's, let's get into battle. And I'll see you on the next episode. Oh, hit the like and the button or whatever you got to do, the, the button to get notified of the next video. I'm still learning, but thank you for being a part of this, and I look forward to visiting with you on the next episode.
