No Doubt No Fear Only Believe year in review

In episode 235 of the No Doubt, No Fear, Only Believe podcast, host Greg Ryan reflects on completing a full year of daily episodes, sharing his journey from an inexperienced, imperfect start to a year‑long commitment. He emphasizes the centrality of the Word of God as the source of transformation, love, and forgiveness, and recounts how God’s love is unconditional regardless of belief. Greg discusses the "Kingdom of God" spreadsheet—a resource he created to help listeners engage with the Word daily—and apologizes for earlier technical setbacks in delivering it. He stresses the importance of unity within the body of Christ, noting that each believer has a distinct role, and encourages listeners to pursue small, consistent steps of faith rather than waiting for perfection. Throughout, he affirms Jesus’ atonement, the certainty of His return, and the futility of fearing Satan, urging listeners to act on God‑directed prompts for 2022. The episode concludes with a prayer, gratitude for the audience, and a promise of continued episodes.
Welcome to episode 235, In the Beginning Was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Spending time in the Word of God is the best way to spend time with God. Welcome to No Doubt, No Fear, Only Believe podcast, where we will encourage, inspire, and empower you to live your best life in Christ. Here's Greg.
Welcome to episode 235. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Well, this is the last episode of the year 2021, if you're keeping score at home. I know I am, and I am fired up about what this means in my life. I want to encourage you that as you watch this imperfect man do this podcast, or listen to this man do this podcast. It is only because I took imperfect action as I followed after a perfect example. I read the Word of God. I was encouraged by the Word of God. I had other people, other believers, tell me, hey, you need to do something. You need to get out there. You need to teach. And with all of that encouragement and all of that stuff just welling up inside of me, I just made up my mind. I I made a decision, and there is power in a made-up mind, and I decided I'm gonna do this thing 30 days in a row. I made up my mind in January of this year that I was gonna do 30 episodes. Didn't even know how to get the microphone working, how to connect it with the program, all of that, man. I had absolutely no idea. I just made up my mind, and then the how became Evident. And that's what I wanted to talk to you today. If you get your why right, the how really doesn't matter. That if you know why you're doing it, and I decided that I wanted to encourage, empower, and inspire you instead of whining and complaining about all the bad crap, and I know I'm not supposed to say crap, but all of the stuff that's going on in this world and sitting there complaining and not doing anything. I was gonna do my part as best I could here in Haunt Louisiana to encourage you, whoever you are, wherever you are in the world, that the Word of God is true, that Jesus is the truth, Jesus is the way, and Jesus is the life, and no one can get to the Father except through him, and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and the faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. You will hear the Word of God if you tune into this podcast. That is my whole modus operandi I'm bringing everything to bear on this last episode, all of my favorite words, a lot of the scriptures that I started out with. And I started out telling you that you are God's favorite. If God had a refrigerator in heaven, your picture would be all over it. God loves you. I don't care if you don't even believe that Jesus is God's Son. God loves you, and he is madly in love with you. He wants a relationship with you. The relationship was destroyed back when Adam bit the fruit. I know everybody can wring their hands and say, "That's not fair." I don't know anything in life that's fair. Fair is one of those made-up fairy tale words. There's nothing fair. There's actions and there's consequences. And the action was Adam and Eve bit the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden, and it brought sin into this world. Once sin came into the world and once the dominion that God gave to Adam was handed over to Satan, you had to have a spirit man. And I'm not gonna go back and teach all that. I'm just kind of trying to bring all this together because we are talking about going forward in the Word of God. All I want you to do is just dig into the Word of God and let the Word of God get into you because it will change you. And I want you to look back. I've been talking about, the last few episodes, I've been talking about the kingdom of God and the spreadsheet. And I wanna apologize if you've gone on my website and tried to get that. It took me a minute. If you're a frequent flyer or you've listened to this and you're a fanatic, you know that I've got a ready, fire, aim mentality. And I get out there and I jump in and I get wet a lot of times and wonder, I didn't even know there was water here. But I got into here, I had the spreadsheet made, I've got it all ready, but when I tried to put it on the website, I had a disconnect. And I struggled for an hour or two, and then because it was around Christmas time, I had a lot of other responsibilities, probably just like you did, and so it got kicked to the curb. It was not available. I had it, and that's the frustrating part. I had the spreadsheet, it had been done for years, but I couldn't get it to you. And that is just my imperfection because I just had no idea. I had to make a landing page so you could put your email in and your name, and so I could send that to you. My real motive is so that I can have a communication with you.
I—
there's been a few of you that's reached out to me, and I appreciate that. But there is also a lot of you that have never talked to me or never been able to communicate with me. That, to me, is one of the fallacies of this podcast is that I can talk and you can listen, but I can't listen to you talk, or I can't listen to what is going on in your life. So with email and with the communication the way it is now, I'm trying to get to where if you're a fanatic, if you listen to this podcast, we're not ever going to agree on everything. Let's just set that record straight. That we are not gonna see the same thing the same way every time. My wife and I do not see eye to eye on every single issue, but we love each other anyway. And that's the thing that I want to get across is that we can come together, even if we don't agree on every single thing, we can come together in love and we can love the Word of God and we can love the Holy Spirit and we can love Father God and Jesus and we can try to understand how the other person is seeing that. Because remember when we talked about the different parts of the body and I compared myself to a little toe? And if I'm the little toe in the body of Christ, then really all I'm going to be talking about is balance and kicking and fitting myself in a shoe. But there's not a whole lot I can talk about on vision, and I really can't talk about taste or hearing anything. That's not my function in the body. And so I just want to let everybody know that we all have a different part in the body of Christ. Jesus is the head. He's the one driving this ship. He is the one that is taking us down the road. But we need to get together and we need to come together as a body and we need to work together. And we talked about unity. There's a lot of things that we talked about. And a second thing that I always wanted you to know when I started this podcast is that God is not mad at you. God is not angry. He put all of the requirements of sin, all the requirements of the law, he placed on his Son. And all the anger and everything that he had, he put on Jesus. Not that he was mad at Jesus, but there had to be a price paid, and Jesus agreed to go pay the price for you and I. And that is awesome. That is the too-good-to-be-true news. But Jesus came, he took all sin, he took all sickness, all disease, all poverty, he took all of it and placed it on himself and nailed it to the cross, and it died with him. But here's the great news, is that he resurrected on the third day, and all of that is just gone. It is washed away. It is buried in the ground. There is no sickness. There is no sin, there is no anything. Now, it's still alive and well here on earth, but in the spirit realm, it has been paid. What I need to do is we need to hook into, by faith, all of these promises. And I can tell you from experience that it's extremely difficult to just hook into 27, and that, of course, is my exaggeration number, but it is very difficult to hook into 27 different promises but it's simple to hook into one. And what I want to do, and why I started this podcast, is I just wanted to give 5 or 10 minutes— and it ended up being 10 or 15 minutes normally— of one idea or one concept and just kind of try to develop that for 10 or 15 minutes, just to kind of get you thinking. And as you're working out, or as you're mowing the grass, or as you're driving down the road, or however, wherever it is you're listening to this podcast, when you listen to an imperfect man going after a perfect example. God's not mad at you if you mess up, if you fall down. There is no perfect father that is going to slap his kid upside the head for tripping and falling or for trying to take some steps. Imagine a little baby, a little toddler learning how to walk. There is not a father in the world that is half way sane that would ever punish their child for falling the first couple steps he's learning how to take. And I would argue that there's no father that would punish a child that tripped on accident walking after they've been walking really good. I mean, it's just not something fathers do. You don't punish your children for accidents. You don't punish your children for falling. God doesn't either. God is the perfect Father. God is not mad at you. He put all that on Jesus. That's a whole nother topic. But God's not mad. And the third thing I want you to know is Jesus is one day closer returning today than he was yesterday. That is a given. Jesus is returning. I don't know if it's pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib, don't care trib. I want to go with Jesus when he comes back for me. That's all we're going to talk about. Now we can kind of split the hair and what I believe, but In all honesty, it's nothing to get wrapped around the axle about. I think that we are to occupy until he returns. We are to stand. The Bible is clear that we're not to fight Satan. I say Satan is a punk all the time because he is. He is a lying thief murderer. He is a punk, but he is a toothless lion and he is a bee with no stinger. He is impotent. He has no power other than the power you and I give him. And that is a lot because we don't know the word. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. The only freedom that you and I have is found in the word that we know, that we are intimate with, that we know personally. We can't just say, oh, I think that's in the Bible. We have to know it, we have to plant it, and we have to water that seed And we're going to talk about that next year. I just wanted to come on and I wanted to encourage you. If you're listening and I'm talking, I'm going to keep talking. I'm going to be relentless. I want you to go back. As you're thumbing through, it's kind of fascinating to see 235 episodes. And I'm telling you, there's no way in the world I could have done that in a week. But given 365 days, I look back and it is over. It's done. I was able to get that accomplished and it's an accomplishment. No one's ever going to be able to take that away from me. And so we're just going to move forward. I want to encourage you that if there is something that you've always wanted to do, that you kind of feel that God is kind of pushing you to take that next step or to take some action, because nothing kicks fear in the teeth like taking action. And I just want to encourage you that if God's speaking to you in some manner about doing something for his kingdom, I just want to encourage you, you don't have to take off sprinting. I started this podcast by saying I was going to do 30 days in a row, and I honestly had no idea. I just had my head down and I was trying to get through those 30 days. And about day 20, day 21, I kind of got the hang of it and thought, you know, I think I can do this. And so by day 30, I had made up my mind that I was just going to continue to do this. But that is how a goal— there are many goals in my life that I've set and I have just failed miserably. I never have attained them. But this one thing, I made up my mind I was going to do it. And you are a witness that I have made it the whole year. And I want to personally thank you for being a part of my life. And I want to personally thank you for listening this far into this episode. And I want to encourage you that God is with you. Wherever two or more are gathered, God is right there. The Holy Spirit is with you. And if you decide to do something in Jesus' name and just take a little step and just do a little step each time— I'm going to put that link in this episode. It's on the spreadsheet. I think it's no doubtonlybelieve.com forward slash spreadsheet is how you get to it if you want to type that in. But I'm going to have a link here in the show notes, and it's working now. I've asked a couple of friends to test it, and they've tested and said it's working. The link is there. You will give me your email address, and I will send this over to you, and it'll be wonderful. And it'll— it's changed my life how I've done this. And I will again, I'll tell you one more time, that most people fail not because it's difficult but because you have to do something with it every day. And most people just won't commit to it. That's how you fail. And if you look at this Kingdom of God spreadsheet, and if you look at the way God does things, he don't want you to take over the world. He just wants you to take one more step, and then the next step, and then the next step. And that's what we're going to do. We're just going to take another step next year. Next Tuesday will be like the 4th or whatever it is. I don't even know, didn't look at the calendar, don't care. But we'll have another podcast episode and we will start talking and we will start getting after it again. But I just wanted to thank you and I want to pray. I want to, I want to just encourage you to whatever God's speaking to you to get after it for 2022. God, I want to thank you for this listener. I want to thank you for everything that you've done for him or her in 2021. And I want to pray that if you are speaking directly to them using me, God, I want to encourage them to just take a step. Whatever it is that you, Holy Spirit, have been talking to them about, I want you to continue to encourage them. And as you're listening to my voice, you can do it. And if you just make a small little step and just decide to do it, there's power in that made-up mind. Hey, I'm nothing special, and I got through a whole year and 235 podcasts episodes. It was like falling off a log. It's over. It took a year to get done, but I just did a little bit each day. And that's how you're going to accomplish anything wonderful in life. And as— if we can push this on for 5 or 10 more years, there's going to be a lot of content and there's going to be a lot of lives changed through the word of God. And God, I thank you for your word, and I thank you for using me, and I thank you for this listener. And I pray that 2022 will give you glory and your kingdom will shine because of things that me and this listener are able to do for your kingdom. Lord, we thank you. We love you. We ask it all in Jesus' name. Amen. Well, happy New Year, and I look forward to visiting with you in the next episode.
