Water Walking Wednesday Learning To Walk On Water

Greg Ryan attempts to walk on water as a literal demonstration of John 14:12, the biblical promise that believers can do the works of Jesus. He falls in, laughs it off, and promises to try again next week with better footing.

and No Doubt, No Fear, Only Believe. I've got a lot of different titles. 1 John 12:11 apparel, all those things. I am just coming to you live. I just want to try again. It's Water Walking Wednesday, so here I go. I've told you I've failed multiple times, and I'm just here to really encourage you to just try something different. Let's just get a hold of God, get a hold of His Word. And I'm using John 14:12, and a lot of you know that that's an important scripture me, but John 14:12 says, "Most assuredly, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also, and greater works than these he will do because I go to my Father." And I believe that that is an important scripture, and we just, as the body of Christ, we need to come and give this faith thing a work. And I know I picked probably one of the hardest things to do physically here on earth is to walk on water, and I have said multiple times that I I have failed. I haven't got this thing right yet, but I am learning and I am trying and I'm going to continue to do this. And not because I want to just keep failing, but I want to stretch the body of Christ. I want to stretch the things. I want to call on faith and I want to try my best to do what the Word of God tells me I can do. And there's another scripture that I want to bring to mind while I'm getting after this is Romans 8:1. And it says, there is now— there is therefore now no No condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. And God's not condemning me. God does not care. I mean, I think God is probably laughing, and he's probably going, this guy, I don't know. But I'm thinking that God is happy with me trying, and I'm happy with me trying. And I'm going to give this thing a go. I'm going to switch the camera view, and I'm here at my wonderful little pond. And I took my wife's advice because I walked around in wet shoes and socks all last week, and that was kind of stupid. But I've got some sandals on because Jesus had sandals, right? So I've got some sandals and some shorts, so maybe I'm not going to be as uncomfortable for a little bit. But anyway, I'm praying that this thing happens and this thing works. So I'm going to say a real quick prayer, and I'm going to switch the camera. God, I thank you so much for your word, and I thank you for everything that you're doing in my life. And I pray for this listener this listener or this watcher as we attempt to do this one more time, God. And I thank you for everything that you're doing. Water, I command you to hold me up in Jesus' name. Body, I command you to stay dry and stay walking on top of the water. Lord, we thank you in Jesus' name. Amen. You can tell that didn't work out too well. So we fell again, but hey, we're not going to worry. I got soaked. I hope my camera's still working. But anyway, that's, uh, probably 200 and some odd. My shorts are wet, my shoes are wet. Hey, this is— I love this. I love this Christian walk, guys. I'm telling you, this is a good thing. I, I hate that I failed, but there's no condemnation. I'll be here next Wednesday, maybe find a less slippery spot. Yeah, I don't like falling in the water. All right, guys. Hey, thanks for being a part of this, and I look forward to seeing you in the next video.
