A teaching on believers as
Hey, I just wanted to remind you again, and this is the moment of truth, and I want to remind you that you are a king. And you could be a priest, but you probably have a 92% chance that you're a king. But what I wanted to— I want to continue with my football analogy because Yesterday I talked about the 12 tribes of Israel, and there were 12 tribes, and one tribe was the Levites, or the Levi tribe, and they were the priests. So with my football analogy, if you can just— because I've got a picture of this in my head— there are 11 positions on a football field on either side of the ball. And so with those 11 positions, each one has a different duty or ability skill set. And there is one head coach. So if we take this 12 tribes of Israel, 11 football players, we got one priest tribe, we got one head coach. So I kind of want you to see how with that, to kind of get a picture of how, you know, how maybe the kingdom of God is working and why we really need to go to church and why you need a pastor or a priest. Because there's one guy, and if you can imagine with the the coach have headphones listening to somebody up in the press box that's got a better view. You know, he's kind of looking down on the field and he's got a little better view of what's going on. I mean, that's God. I mean, God sees the beginning, the end from the beginning. You know, God sees everything. None of this is catching— you know, when you see me on Facebook Live, it's going to catch my wife by surprise, but this isn't catching God by surprise. He sees everything and knows everything. So he's up there in the press box looking at how all this is going on, and he's communicating to the priest or the pastor what, you know, what positions, where these people need to be. And so, and that's why it's important, you know, that's why you pray for your pastor. You know, I mean, he's got an important position. And so when you're going to church, I mean, he brings the Word of God, he hears from God, he prays all week, what do I need to give to these people, what do I need to tell these people? And so when you're fed that, you know, you're gonna be out there as a king or as a player, you're gonna be out there on the field. Y'all are getting after it in life. And that's, I mean, I just wanna encourage you, I mean, your job is to Go and take dominion. Go and get the spoils of your career, your job. If you're a plumber, be the best plumber you can be. And I'm speaking to myself, 'cause I do real estate, and there's times when, a lot of times when I'm, ah, God, I just don't, I'm not sure I want to do this. I kind of whine a little bit. Anybody that knows me has probably heard that, but You know, go out there and get it. Go, go help somebody. Go, go become the best person, best king you can be. Get the spoils, get the things that are supposed to be, uh, coming to you, and then bring that into your storehouse, and then give your first fruits to the, the house of God. So I'm going to elaborate a little more on this, but I just wanted to get you thinking, you know, you have a position in God's, in God's kingdom. You have a place. I mean, God did not make any— he did not make any mistakes. You are here on purpose. You have a specific plan. God has a specific plan for your life. I want to encourage you to pray about and find, you know, what is that it stirs you up and gets you fired up? What is it that makes you, uh, come alive? And, and I, I just want to say that, you know, me talking to this phone kind of, you know, I, I, if you can tell, I'm a little bit uncomfortable with the whole idea, but I've just, I've just decided, I mean, I enjoy, I enjoy studying and teaching the Word of God. So I want to, I want to import and impart on you, if I can, just these little truths that God gives to me. And because I see things just a little bit different than, you know, my wife would say anybody, but I see things a little bit different. And God, I guess, has given me that talent or skill or gift And so what I want to do is just show you what I'm seeing and kind of give you an idea, maybe help you kind of see how you fit in all this. But I just want to remind you that, you know, you are God's favorite. You are, you are special in his eye. He is a perfect father. And if God had a refrigerator in heaven, your picture would, would be all over it. So just take that, know that God loves you and that he cares about you. And he knows right where you are. So if you've got a need or you've got something that is bothering you, just tell God. And pray, continue to pray for the people in Texas. They are, you know, they're still going through it and they're gonna be going through it for a long time. If you can send help, any kind of financial need, I mean, they'll take anything right now. I mean, this is what happens in the body, it's what happens as Americans, we come together when somebody is in need. And somebody, regardless of how you feel about any political stance, any religious stance, these are real people and they have a real need. And I want to encourage you to, I mean, even if it's $5, this, you know, the Salvation Army, the Samaritan's Purse, you know, and I don't want to eliminate anybody. I mean, there's, you know, the Red Cross. There's things that you can give if you can't give your time. So I want to encourage you even a little bit. You know, if everybody gave a little, that would be a lot. So with that deep, uh, thought, I just— I'm going to end today, and I'll continue this lesson tomorrow.
