Greg Ryan, founder of Jesus Mighty Men ministry, launches a daily devotional video series on Facebook and YouTube built around John 8:32. He argues that truth is a person—God—and plans to keep the content light with contests and humor while building his audience from scratch.

Hey, I just practiced my speech. I thought it was live, just to show you that I don't know what the heck I'm doing. Hey, this is Greg Ryan. I'm with Jesus Mighty Men. I also have the Truth Signature clothing line, but I just wanted to say real quick that I'm gonna do this more often than not, gonna try to do it daily, but I wanted to just come in and say hi and then just tell you kind of what I was thinking. It's kind of a moment of truth, or just a quick little daily, not so much a devotion, but just something that we can just sink our teeth in. And it's based really on two scriptures, John 8:32 and John 14:6. John 8:32 says, and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. So if you really want true freedom in your life, I don't know anybody that doesn't. I don't know anybody that says, no, throw some chains on me, I don't want freedom. Or when Thomas was asking Jesus about the way, Jesus was telling his disciples that you will know the way, and then he said, well, how will we know the way? How do we know where you're going? And I'm paraphrasing, of course, but Jesus then said in 14:6, he said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. So Jesus, in two things, he said, I am the truth. He said, I am the truth. So the truth is, it's not a concept or something you and I tell or need to tell. It's actually a person. And the truth is God. And it's something that I think this world needs more and more of. I know Washington, D.C. needs more of the truth, but that's a whole nother issue. But I wanna make this kind of a fun thing. I'm gonna have some contests. I don't want it just to be me ranting and raving, and it'll be some of that. And to be consistent, to try to do it daily, I may record some stuff and then post it. But I mean, I just wanna give you some value and kind of give you my heart., and I've got a really cool video. I say it's cool, it's my, I've got a distorted sense of humor, and we made a video showing Jesus and God, and we'll see it. I'm going to post it here in a little bit, but probably in the next day or two, but it's just something just to try to make you smile. But anyway, I just want to tell you that, you know, that I'm back. I'm going to work on this Facebook thing. I think it's here to stay, so I have avoided it, and now I'm going to embrace it. So thank you for listening. Most of y'all probably can't get this on tape because I don't have many followers, but I will. And I thank you for stopping by, and I thank you for listening to this.
