In this concise instructional video, the creator demonstrates how to craft a peridot pendant from start to finish. The process begins with forming a strip of silver into a collet, which is placed into a hole in a bezel forming block and shaped using a punch and hammer. The formed collet is then filed flat on both sides. A small jump ring is soldered onto the edge to enable attachment to a chain. After cleaning the bezel, a peridot gemstone is bezel‑set into the pendant, and the piece is polished to a finished shine. Here's a few quick steps showing how I make a peridot pendant. After forming a strip of silver into a collet, I fit it into a hole in the bezel forming block, place the punch on top, tap carefully with a hammer. Once my collet is formed, I file both the top and bottom flat. To attach the pendant to a chain, I solder a little jump ring on the edge. After the bezel is cleaned, the peridot is bezel set into the pendant. This is how it looks after it's polished.
