Okay. Betsy had to visit the what's New Cut man.
Just so you know, that's.
Oh, I know, I know.
It's all good. I'm a hot mess over here.
I was laughing so hard at Jay, I didn't realize. I cut my finger a little bit, but I'm fine. It's all good.
Okay. I'm not a doctor. That was the last segment.
But you're in between two hot messes.
Can we get Dr. Dunn back?
We're all good.
The countdown continues with Hanukkah starting on Sunday night and, of course, Christmas. Now, as I mentioned, just 11 days away, the clock is ticking for all of us last minuters to finish up our shopping.
That's right. So who do we turn to? Our three New Style contributor, Hallie Abrams.
That is a tongue twister.
She's here today for our Cleveland Makers segment. We're really focusing on Cleveland Makers.
We are.
We want to shop small, support our people and our neighborhoods. You've brought some great options for us.
Right? I mean, that's the thing. Shopping local does not mean making any compromises. Right. There are amazing things we can get, hopefully. Okay, first, let's start with Logan Berry. Books. Books. Everybody loves books.
Sure.
They fit, right? And so we picked a few different things. One is a coffee table book about Cleveland, which is great because it becomes like a centerpiece and something you can talk about. A kid's book, which is driving the Love of Learning. It's by a poet. It talks about lots of great things. The novel is a thousand ways to pay attention. And that is about a woman that later in life gets diagnosed with adhd. So I'm gonna add that to my reading list. I think that's me. And then last is Scare youe Soul, which is a local author. Very good. Yeah. Scott Simon. And he started a movement, and that book just got launched.
Awesome.
It's great. Okay.
It's great.
And Makers things are not necessarily only for adults.
Absolutely not. Although I think this is meant for kids. But I would totally carry it too. So. So this is Becko Bags. It is a mother and daughter team out of Chagrin Falls. And the cool thing about these bags is that the pieces, the patches come on and off so the kids can trade them. They can customize them.
It's Velcro.
It's Velcro. It goes on the straps on the back. It's on the front. Yeah. I think we can pick them up. They're so cute. Really cute. So the kids get into it according to their interest. The patches start at about $4 and I think run to about $25. And then the backpacks are 80 some dollars.
They're stylish too.
They're totally cute. And the kids are really, really into them. I know that's going on.
Good job. You're balancing it forward.
Awesome. Next up, Still Point Gallery. Beautiful gallery in the historic Fairmount Cedar area. They started in Little Italy in the schoolhouse. It started as a way for her to showcase her husband's photography. Then it grew and it grew. And so they have a lot of, again, local and limited edition artists, photographers, ceramicists. This is Glena. You can use this. It's microwave safe. It's beautiful. I love these nesting bowls. I think they're really cool because you can use them. They have the spout built in.
We have a minute, so let's get through everything.
Sorry.
Let's go. Kids, kids, kids. Sea Boucle, local toy store for kids. Really interesting things. I love this camera. So it clicks, it has a shutter. And then this is a kaleidoscope. So. Oh, you look funky.
I think my granddaughter Hayes would love that.
There you go. It's really cool. And then this with the marbles, I think would be really fun.
I am, because, I mean, just sitting here, like.
Bags, they have four basic colors, so we've represented all of them. A black, a tan. The one in the front is called Wolf.
Wolf is the bomb.
Wolf is great because it can read a little brown and it can read a little black. And the bags are great. Those Finley clutches in the front are great. They're in the $200 price range.
These are really sweet.
They're sweet. And they can go in your tote. This is the Belfield tote, which has been around forever. I think they've been around nine years. And it's just. You will make a woman happy if you buy her a fount bag.
Definitely.
Definitely a state quality product.
They last forever and they look beautiful. Thank you so much.
Thank you. I hope you're feeling okay.
I am rebounding. I'm rebounding.
Okay, good. This made you happy.
This did make you.
I'm in so much trouble.
