Hallie Abrams shows how to cuff a jean jacket sleeve by rolling it to the elbow instead of doing a full roll. She folds the top, rolls the lower part into it, and leaves it slightly messy for that casual, imperfect look.

This might be the 8 zillionth time I've done this video, and for some reason we never keep it in our records, so I'm doing it again, right? We have a jean jacket. Most people think to roll their jean jacket this way, which is great, there's nothing wrong with it, and if you like that, it's fabulous. By the way, how cute is this fountain pen? But anyway, so the— what I like to do is take the jacket up to about where your elbow bends, like where you'd give blood kind of thing. And then take the bottom part, and you're almost like rolling the top, rolling the top to sort of like stick it in a little bit, if that makes sense. And then I, I don't mind stuff sticking out. If you don't like it too, you can tuck it in, but it sits at a better place. It shows a little more forearm. And it has like a messiness to it, like an imperfectness that makes it perfect.
