I have a special secret that's not going to be secret anymore. Style tip for you from a professional stylist. I'm Hallie Abrams, the wardrobe consultant. I've styled thousands of women over the past 20 years, and this is one of those itty, bitty little, like, special tips that you're going to look at and you're not going to be able to. You're not gonna be able to look away, and you're not going to be able to look at outfits again. Okay? So when you're thinking about wearing a blazer and jeans or a pant underneath, it is oddly important that the rise and the button of the pant underneath matches up with where this doesn't. This has a bunch of buttons, but see how where it comes in is where the waist of the pant is, so it's creating a harmonious waist. I love this blazer, but I don't love it with these pants. It almost needs, like, a bit of a higher rise or it has to go over a dress or something. See how it feels off because these aren't lining up properly. See how these are meeting at the right place? So again, it feels harmonious. Now, all three of these blazers, they were different lengths. This one's longer, another one's more cropped, and other one standard. They're from three different brands, three different stores. So it's not about one thing. It's about making sure that where the rise of your jean or pant is hitting it is in sync. It's in sync with the rise and the button of the jacket.
